“Margarita has had the most amazing holiday with Ana and family. She has clearly been well loved and cared for during her 8 day stay and loved the attention from Ana’s young sons. Like many pet owners, I hate leaving Margarita when I go away & spend time worrying about how she is. I can honestly say, I had no concerns at all. Ana contacted me daily with a summary of the day and photos. I would absolutely recommend this lovely family. Margarita would love to come and stay again some time for more cuddles with the boys.”

“Freya was fantastic with my Bobby. She was very helpful and sent me updates throughout the day. I would highly recommend Freya and her partner and we will definitely return in the future.”

“I have never used a boarder or the rover app before so was initially a bit nervous with the process. Yes helped explain the process and was happy to answer any questions I had. During the stay Yas kept me fully updated with lots of picture of the fun Nakia was having, was so happy being able to know and see she was happy and comfortable would definitely recommended and use Yas for boarding.”

“We are so delighted that we found James through Rover. We had been let down 2 days before our Holiday. James went out of his way to work around a way to support us. Our dogs could stay at home in thier safe place. Bailey is 15, we can't thank James enough. Needless to say we have already rebooted 🥰”

About: When I was 3, my parents adopted a border collie cross puppy, and I instantly fell in love. From then on, my parents knew that wherever she was, they would find me too. I decided to study animals in school and college (Animal Mangagment BTEC), and when my parents got another border collie puppy when I was 15 I became the main trainer for her. With the support of an incredible dog trainer, we passed all levels of the Kennel Club Good Citizens Award first time, and I couldn't have been prouder of her. When college finished and I'd volunteered with the dog trainer, learning tips and tricks along the way, as well as worked in a kennels and cattery and horse stables for work experience, I began university. I studied Animal Management and Behaviour and achieved an FDSC in this. I absolutely adored the course, especially because it also gave me experience with farm and zoo animals. After graduation, I moved in with my now-wife, and we began growing our little pet family. First, we adopted a stray cat, Kiara, who jumped in through the window and never left (much to our joy). Then, we became foster carers for Dog's Trust, handling medical cases, puppies, and more. And finally, they foolishly gave us an 8 week old golden retriever puppy who had been surrendered due to health issues. We proudly failed that foster, and I now have my heart dog. I worked extensively with a trainer to support her, and couldn't be happier. Due to a mix of formal education and fortune, I feel comfortable handling a variety of situations, including medication, day to day enrichment, walks, play, training, and more! I am a stay at home dog and cat mum, looking to support those who need some support with theirs. I'm also open to looking after farms/horses and unusual/exotic pets so please get in touch to discuss. I don't drive, so often walk to houses so during the week I can only take 1 mile radius but on the weekend 7 mile radius when my doting wife can drop me off! With regards to doggy day care and boarding I can only accept friendly dogs with no behaviour problems as I don't want to put my dog at risk. I will require a meet and greet with any dogs before allowing them into my home to ensure everyone's safety. I treat every animal as I'd want mine to be treated. I make sure my fenced garden is well maintained, my animals have regular health checks, the stair gates are in proper use, and there are toys and enrichment opportunities aplenty, to keep everyone entertained! I also frequently give my own animals medication, so know how to follow a schedule, just make sure this is discussed with me!

“Nicola was absolutely fab!! Responded to all messages extremely quickly. Answered any questions we had. Met up with us before the booking to meet our dog Jim. We left Jim for a long day and night and it looks like he the best time. Lots of photos/videos as requested sent over to us by Nic which put us at ease. She even asked for a schedule of when to feed him/treats etc just to try and keep the routine. Super impressed. Jim didn't know whether to come home with us or stay haha. Dog sitter for life ? cheers Nic.”

“I can’t thank Kate and Cal enough for looking after our Whippet Ed. It was clear as soon as we picked him up how well he had been looked after. I fact I’m pretty sure he wanted to stay. Their communication whilst we were away was amazing and daily photos showed how much he was enjoying. I would 100% recommend Kate and Cal to anyone and will be booking with them again.”

“Just collected Honey and Bobby who have obviously had a great time with Jason, Emily and Rolo! It was our first time leaving them and to say I was nervous is an understatement. The regular updates, obvious care and love they were given were so reassuring. I am absolutely delighted ? Thank you so much Jason and Emily ? I have no hesitation in recommending Jason and feel quite relaxed about their next stay booked for September.”

About: I have given homes to three elderly reactive rescue dogs who I had to build trust with for them to be happy. I currently offer dog boarding from my own home giving me experience with all types of dogs including big strong dogs to small fluffy lap dogs. Also I am currently training as a dog groomer. I work part time from home so I am in during the day to give company to our dog boarders. I am free on weekends to provide dog sits in owners homes. I provide a home from home experience for our boarders. We have an enclosed garden for the dogs to investigate. I am in most of the day and keep the back doors open to allow dogs to go outside if they wish (weather dependant). I can accommodate walks and feeding whenever is suitable for the dog to fit their routine.

“Sian was absolutely amazing with Aubrey and Penny. She is a lovely lady with a beautiful property and garden near the beach and she welcomed the dogs into her home as though they were her own. She wanted to know everything about them and how to make them as happy and comfortable as possible. We got daily updates and pictures and videos of them having the most wonderful time with her on the beach. They just loved her and I'm not sure they even wanted to go home when we came to collect them! Thank you Sian!”
