“Yessenia was absolutely lovely to work with. She answered any questions we had as first time Rover customers in order to put us at ease. We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. She even included a lovely note about the experience. Her thoughts were genuine, and it was nice for us to be reminded about the beauty of our dog whom we see every day.”

About: My dog Winnie is 17, so I’ve had lots of experience as a pet carer! Even though Winnie is a small dog, I have experience pet sitting and walking large dogs. I also love cats and have welcomed them into my home to cat sit over the last several years. I work as an independent artist and bartender, so I have a flexible schedule that gives me availability to take care of your furry friend or feline when you’re working! I am available morning, evening and night on weekdays and morning and afternoons on the weekends. About: Animals are family here! I provide patient, loving care tailored to each animal’s personality, routine, and comfort level, with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention. I have experience working with rescue organizations and offer foster care to animals requiring special attention. Currently in service dog training courses with my Australian Shepard. I work from home most days, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m only away from home for about six hours on two days each week. Outside of work, I spend much of my time with my animals, gardening, and enjoying our little homestead—especially when the weather is nice! I have a fully fenced yard plus a separate secured area for my chickens. My own dogs, cats, and chickens live here, but visiting pets are always supervised and safely separated when needed.
