“Wendy took such care of my little puppy Parker. Always stayed in communication and sent allot of photos to keep me up to date on how he was doing. I would definitely use her services again.”

“Yaina was INCREDIBLE!!! First time I used her for my 2 dogs and hopefully not the last! Her dog, Boston, is sweet as pie and she took such great care of my dogs while I was gone for 11 days. Many many pics were received. She really cares about dogs, her house is spotless and yard completely fenced in and very save. Loved having her care for my babies! Thank you Y and J!”

“Pleasant, easy to work with and my dog loves her. It was a quick trip and I have to found a sitter, she accommodated my request and make it easy for me to make a decision to book with her and not others. I will use her services again. Thank you for taking care of Rusty”

About: I’ve been a dog mom to a puggle and beagle for over 20 years. With that, I have experience with high energy and sneaky personalities! As both babies entered their senior years, I was responsible in caring for their medical needs. My sweet daughter, Ruby (the beagle in picture), recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and my home and soul has not been the same. I am not ready to fill the void with my own fur baby as of yet, but ready to share my love to others. I work remotely as a social worker 5 days a week, so your baby would have plenty of attention. I have my own car and can drive for any emergencies that may arise. Please note that I will respond to messages that are received between 9AM-10PM. I make every effort to respond within 30 minutes. However, if you do not hear from me immediately, please allow me the time to reply as I will never ignore a message. I work remotely from home, so I am flexible with caring for your fur baby in my home. With walks, I am available in the afternoon and evenings with advance notice. Important 📝: Upon booking, I will ask for a meet and greet at a neutral spot. This can be at a dog friendly cafe, a park, and/or the front and then backyard at my home to reduce any stress. For privacy and safety reasons, there will be a limited (only view certain areas) in-home tour until the booking has been finalized. I have a fenced yard if your fur baby likes to run around off leash. I would also take them on walks and/or play with them according to preferences. I have no children or other fur babies in the home but if your baby is open to children, I have two nieces and a nephew who loves dogs that are willing to share their affection!
“Michelle is fantastic! She checked in with me multiple times each day and sent pictures and videos whenever possible. She was responsive when I sent messages and questions. My pups were well taken care of.”

“Sarah and her family were amazing with my Morkie. Coco can be a little particular with eating and bed times and Sarah was so accommodating! I will definitely use her again to watch Coco”

“I highly recommend this sitter! They took amazing care of my two dogs, Whiskey and Midnight, while I was away on vacation. Leaving your pets behind is never easy, but Dilania made the entire experience completely stress-free. Communication was outstanding from start to finish. I received daily updates with pictures and videos, along with thoughtful messages about how the boys were doing. Those updates gave me so much peace of mind and allowed me to truly relax and enjoy my vacation, knowing Whiskey and Midnight were in great hands. It was clear she genuinely cared for my dogs and treated them like family. I came home to two happy, well cared for pups, and I couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, attentive, communicative, and truly loves animals, I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her.”

“Heeyoung consistently provides attentive and kind care! Waffles is always so happy and at ease with her and her family. She is communicative and very knowledgeable about dogs (what they need and how they feel). We highly recommend her!”

“This is the first time I used Denise and was very happy with her watching my dogs. They seemed happy in the pictures she sent me. They came home fine. I would definitely recommend her and use her again.”

“Amazing family home, Diana and Mike are perfect sitters and the peace of mind they provided with the constant pics and updates truly made my trip that much better. Highly recommend!”

“Jordan is pleasant and responsive. Latke was returned happy and healthy. He let me know that he had another booking that would overlap mine, which turned out OK but would have been an issue if the dogs didn’t get along. His apartment is small and it would have been difficult to keep the dogs separated. Also I would have appreciated more photos, especially on the first day with the other dog. He responded promptly with pictures when prompted. Overall, I would recommend him.”

“Delmy was amazing! She took awesome care of our puppy, Opie. She was extremely responsive and sent many updates throughout the stay with photos and messages. I definitely would trust her and her family to take care of Opie again! 10/10!!!”

“So grateful to have found Vanessa and her family to look after our beagle Max for the weekend. They took care of him as if he were one more of their family, and Max had a great time playing with their dog Luna. Definitely recommend!!”

“Isabella was great. She regularly checked in and kept me posted with a lot of pics. She is kind and cheerful and would recommend her to anyone having to leave their fur babies.”

“Chris watched my dog who has separation anxiety for a couple days. I was so nervous (for all of them) to leave my anxious guy with someone he didn't know especially during a thunderstorm, etc... but everyone made it though and I'm grateful he had another dog he could play with, etc... Thanks Chris and Co.”

“Yessenia was absolutely lovely to work with. She answered any questions we had as first time Rover customers in order to put us at ease. We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. She even included a lovely note about the experience. Her thoughts were genuine, and it was nice for us to be reminded about the beauty of our dog whom we see every day.”

“Kristen and her partner were amazing! We received many photos of Mako on walks and hanging out with them at home. Knowing Mako was well taken care of gave us piece-of-mind to enjoy the weekend of wedding activities. Thanks Kristen!”

“This was our first time booking with Brenda, and she did an excellent job of making my pup feel at home and putting my mind at ease. She really treated Gracie as if she was her own, with lots of affection, play, and exercise. She did a great job of communicating with me also, sending updates, pictures, and videos. I would definitely book with Brenda again.”

“June was amazing with our dog, Bingo. She sent us photos and updates throughout his stay. Bingo is a very shy dog and has some behavioral issues. She took extra care to respond to his special needs and gave him plenty of walks to help him get comfortable. We would absolutely recommend June and will happily rebook her in the future. Thank you so much June :)”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Syosset
We had the pleasure of having Trin take care of our 4-year-old Golden Retriever for the second time, and once again, she was absolutely amazing! We felt so comfortable and at ease knowing he was in her care. Trin kept us updated with pictures and videos, which we loved, and she even went the extra mile and celebrated his birthday with him by giving him a birthday cake! 🎂🐶❤️ It’s clear how much love, attention, and care she gives to the pets she watches. We were so happy and pleased with the entire experience and will definitely be trusting Trin with our fur baby again. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet like family!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
