We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. She even included a lovely note about the experience. Her thoughts were genuine, and it was nice for us to be reminded about the beauty of our dog whom we see every day.”

About: I (Tori) am a third year veterinary student at LIU post with a passion for providing high quality, reliable care to all animals! I have extensive experience working in veterinary clinics as well as pet sitting since I was in high school, so I am comfortable providing medical care to your pets. About: I have always grown up with dogs in my home. Currently, my family has one high energy black lab. In September of 2024, I also adopted my first own dog, Millie! I have watched, played with, fed, and walked dogs for many years including family and friends. I am currently in my final year of veterinary school. There is a bedroom on the main floor just for dogs who need not climb the stairs, and I will sleep with them too! My yard is fully fenced in a nice neighborhood for walks if requested. I do require a meet and greet prior to sitting your dog to make sure we are a match. Please bring your vet papers of vaccination. I'm home FT Drop off times-flexible Pick up times-Before 1:00 pm, after 1pm you will be charged an additional $25.00 for Boarding. My husband will stay with your dog if I have any errands to run. I will be with your pet as much as possible playing Fetch, Belly Rubs, Snuggling, or just looking out the window watching other doggies walk by or talking to the mailman! I know most of the dogs in my neighborhood from walking my son Mickey. Mickey is super friendly, and cuddly Puggle. He is 10 years old and unfortunately he has limited eye site. He shares, and loves doggies to visit. The reason I do this: I would love 2 dogs, but my husband says there's not enough room on our bed. So having sleep overs fills my need for a 2nd dog. Depending on the time of year along with the weather my husband will walk your dog With Mickey if requested. Bedtime is always on the first floor with me in our guest room,they can snuggle in bed with Mickey and I or curl up in a dog bed in the room. Snacks are given if you allow just bring your own. We have an in ground pool and will personally supervise your dog when the pool is open. If your pet swims, bring their swim vest! Again I do require all vaccines be up to date, and that you have a flea and tick preventive in use of your choice. Please bring that information during our Meet and Greet along with any needs for your fur baby and any questions you may have. Meet and Greet is in my home to assure we are a match allowing us to get acquainted for you to see our surroundings. They are free and can take 15-45 minutes. We will meet according to both our schedules. You can go away on your vacations, or quick day trips knowing your dog is in a happy loving environment. Bring what your dog needs to feel at home, leash, food, their bed/blanket (we have extra beds and dog dishes), favorite toy, or snacks. My house is small but our hearts are big❤️, we have room to make all our pets feel like they are home! I don't like to take more then 3 dogs at a time for sleep overs. That's just enough for me and my husband to stay cozy with your pet and mine. One at a time is preferred. I also administer medication both oral and injected for those needing.

He responded promptly with pictures when prompted. Overall, I would recommend him.”

From our very first meet-and-greet, they took the time to get to know Rocky and make sure he would be a good fit for their family and their two beautiful dogs. Matt showed us their yard and explained where Rocky would be safe to run around and play. He gave us a full rundown of everything and patiently answered all of our questions, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident leaving Rocky with them. We ended up booking a full week! Throughout Rocky’s stay, we received regular updates, pictures, videos, and text messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was so wonderful to see how happy and comfortable Rocky was. He got along great with their family dogs and even their super-cute daughter! You can truly tell that Matt & Kristina genuinely care about the dogs in their care and treat them like family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
