I have worked as a kennel assistant and as a veterinary assistant for many years, providing care for animals of all ages and sizes during their times of need. Back home in New York I have two dogs, 10 and 3, who I love spending time with and miss dearly when I am away. My professional animal experience has allowed me to read animals cues, and get to know each pets unique personality. So weather your per loves playing and long walks, or hanging out on the couch, I will make sure they feel safe and comfortable with me. If your animals need any extra care or time warming up, I am experienced in working with anxious pets, administering medications, or caring for multiple pets at the same time. I am currently a veterinary student at Iowa State University, where my schedule is fairly predictable from week to week. I am typically at school from 9-3, and am available for drop ins over my lunch hour (12-1). My weekends are open aside from studying, and during these weekends I love spending time outside. During their stay, your dog becomes part of our daily rhythm. We balance supervised play, enrichment, rest, outdoor time, and plenty of affection. Every dog adjusts differently to a new environment. Most settle in quickly, while others need additional one-on-one support, enrichment, or supervision to feel comfortable. If I determine that a dog requires a significantly higher level of individualized care than expected, I’ll discuss it with you before making any adjustments to the booking. My goal is always to be transparent so we can provide the best possible experience for both you and your dog. I’m home all day and can be very flexible with schedules, feeding times, walks, and routines. For this reason I send daily updates with photos/video so you can be at ease knowing your baby is being well taken care of. When caring for pets in my space, I have a fully fenced yard and a built in playmate. I do very slow, supervised introductions with my own dog, Winny, who is a very playful, happy girl. If either dog prefers space, I can easily accommodate comfortably separating the pups as needed both indoor and outdoors.

About: Ive had dogs my entire life. From when i was 4 years old with my very first cockapoo (who lived to be 16 years). To now as a college graduate, with three dogs of my own. All who have different personalities and age ranges. I have a genuine love for dogs and love yours as my own. Two of my current dogs are seniors so im comfortable with handling your old man/lady. Also i have all my dogs since they were puppies. So im used to that chaotic life stage. As a current college graduate (taking a few online classes) my schedule is very flexible. I can come and visit your furry friend almost any time of the day. My own dogs are crated trained as well as i have a fenced backyard. So i feel comfortable putting ur dog in a crate if needed. About: I’ve always had a dog since I was little and I love dogs. Neighbors and family rely on me at times to watch and walk their dogs. I am a teacher and I have the summers off. I used to have dogs but now it’s just me and my almost 4 year old son. My son goes to daycare and I would love nothing more than to care for your pet. “Heeyoung was awesome. We had a wedding to go to and realized last minute that we needed someone to watch Ollie, our 4 month old Basenji. We contacted Heeyoung the day before, she responded so quickly and was able to come to our house, meet Ollie, go over all the instructions and we were all set. She came on the night of the wedding, texted us when she got to our house, she also texted us all the details of her visit, and then again when she left. Such a terrific experience and Heeyoung was so gentle and caring with Ollie. About: We are a family of dog lovers! My husband and I both grew up with dogs, and though we don’t have pets currently, our love of dogs keeps us pet sitting and dog walking around our neighborhood. We have 3 young children who absolutely adore dogs, and love taking responsibility in taking care of them when we are pet sitting.
