About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have been caring for them most of my life, so being attentive to their needs comes naturally to me. I treat every pet like they’re my own; making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable, patient, and pay close attention to routines, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, or just giving them the extra affection they’re used to. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and check-ins for peace of mind. I’m especially patient with shy or anxious dogs and take the time to help them feel at ease. My fiance Eric has also always grown up with dogs and was responsible for taking care of dogs and his cat while growing up and they all lived will into their senior years. I work full time where I commute Monday-Friday. Weekends I’m home. My Fiancé also works full time but he gets out a little earlier than I do. For weekend stays we are available to give your furry family the most attention and care. If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I always aim to make them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.

About: After having to rehome my sweet Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie mix) due to housing arrangements, I’ve made it my mission to love and care for every pet as if they were my own. Your furry friend’s comfort and happiness will always come first with me! I never tire of playtime and have plenty of energy to keep up with even the most playful pups—but I also adore snuggling with laid-back dogs who just want some company. Since I love being outdoors and staying active, I’d be more than happy to take your dog on long walks or fun outdoor adventures. And for the cat parents out there—I’m a huge cat lover and would be thrilled to care for your feline friends. 😊 I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time to devote to your furry friends. My schedule is open and adaptable, so feel free to reach out with any inquiries—I’ll do my best to make it work! I live in a rental home without access to a backyard, but I’m just a short 10-minute walk from a park I know well and love visiting with pets. At home, I have two older, friendly cats who are very relaxed and comfortable around dogs. About: hello, my name is Jackie, I live in Syosset and have a 2.5 year old male goldendoodle named champ who gets along with other dogs every well. I also have an 8 year old son who loves dogs as well. we would love to watch your dog while you vacation or if they need a walk etc. my husband and I work from home and are in the office 2x/week but weekends are pretty open. let me know your needs and Ill let you know what works work from home in office 2x/week and are flexible for boarding over the weekend. if needed can do walks during the week for your dog i have a fenced in yard so the dogs can run together and we take champ for walks as well so they would have fun together

About: Owned dogs since I was a child, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Irish Red & White Setter and a Chihuahua. Experienced with golden doodles and labs. Currently getting my pilots Licence’s and enjoy reading books I’m currently time building for my commercial Licence whenever the weather is good around 5 hours a day when possible. Usually busy at night around 5-8ish otherwise free. I have a tall fenced in yard where I play with my dog or walk him around my neighborhood. Otherwise he sits with me while I study or read.

About: I have always grown up with dogs in my home. Currently, my family has one high energy black lab. In September of 2024, I also adopted my first own dog, Millie! I have watched, played with, fed, and walked dogs for many years including family and friends. I am currently in my final year of veterinary school. I also have worked as a veterinary assistant so have first aid and medical skills. I’m in my clinical year of vet school so my schedule varies by which rotation I’m on! Early morning and evening would probably be best for me most of the time. I try to update my availability calendar as often as I can! My home is very safe. There are plenty of paths and green spaces for walking. Your animal would have to get up one flight of steps.

About: I am an experienced and trained dog walker for all sizes. I walk with confidence and the dogs sense it. I am licensed and insured. I’m currently working part time. I have plenty of time to share nature with your dog. I am also a hiker, so I can walk and walk and walk… I currently have 4 indoor cats with 8 bowls and 4 litter boxes. Two of them are taking medicine and a supplement that I have to add to their food. One has a chronic nasal issue, he has liquid medicine I give him. I care for others in their home .

About: Hicksville/SOB Rd.& OCR... Home FULL TIME, Dogs are in a low stress enviroment. There is a bedroom on the main floor just for dogs who need not climb the stairs, and I will sleep with them too! My yard is fully fenced in a nice neighborhood for walks if requested. I do require a meet and greet prior to sitting your dog to make sure we are a match. Please bring your vet papers of vaccination. I'm home FT Drop off times-flexible Pick up times-Before 1:00 pm, after 1pm you will be charged an additional $25.00 for Boarding. My husband will stay with your dog if I have any errands to run. I will be with your pet as much as possible playing Fetch, Belly Rubs, Snuggling, or just looking out the window watching other doggies walk by or talking to the mailman! I know most of the dogs in my neighborhood from walking my son Mickey. Mickey is super friendly, and cuddly Puggle. He is 10 years old and unfortunately he has limited eye site. He shares, and loves doggies to visit. The reason I do this: I would love 2 dogs, but my husband says there's not enough room on our bed. So having sleep overs fills my need for a 2nd dog. Depending on the time of year along with the weather my husband will walk your dog With Mickey if requested. Bedtime is always on the first floor with me in our guest room,they can snuggle in bed with Mickey and I or curl up in a dog bed in the room. Snacks are given if you allow just bring your own. We have an in ground pool and will personally supervise your dog when the pool is open. If your pet swims, bring their swim vest! Again I do require all vaccines be up to date, and that you have a flea and tick preventive in use of your choice. Please bring that information during our Meet and Greet along with any needs for your fur baby and any questions you may have. Meet and Greet is in my home to assure we are a match allowing us to get acquainted for you to see our surroundings. They are free and can take 15-45 minutes. We will meet according to both our schedules. You can go away on your vacations, or quick day trips knowing your dog is in a happy loving environment. Bring what your dog needs to feel at home, leash, food, their bed/blanket (we have extra beds and dog dishes), favorite toy, or snacks. My house is small but our hearts are big❤️, we have room to make all our pets feel like they are home! I don't like to take more then 3 dogs at a time for sleep overs. That's just enough for me and my husband to stay cozy with your pet and mine. One at a time is preferred. I also administer medication both oral and injected for those needing.

About: I've had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes as naturally to me as anything. When I got my puppy four years ago, I dedicated myself fully to his training and development, spending every day with him through those early months to make sure he grew into the happy, well-behaved dog he is today. I also have experience with the more challenging side of pet care. My older dog had diabetes, and I spent a great deal of time managing his condition, administering medication daily, and making sure his final years were as comfortable and loving as possible. It taught me a lot about patience, attentiveness, and caring for pets with special medical needs. Beyond my own dogs, I've spent years babysitting, walking, and watching dogs for friends and neighbors. Animals have always been drawn to me, as I have a natural calm with them that puts even shy or anxious pets at ease. While I'm new to Rover, I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience. I understand how much your dog means to you, and I'll treat them like my own every single time. I recently graduated from college and will be starting my Master of Social Work program at NYU in September. I am available all summer and have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve! I'm currently based in Plainview, Long Island, where I'm free and flexible for any and all pet care needs throughout the summer. Come September, I'll be living in New York City, where I'll be available for drop-in visits and walks during the week, and open to extended stays on weekends. Whether you're on Long Island or in the city, I'd love to help care for your pup! Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have experience both crating and not crating dogs, so I'm happy to follow whatever routine works best for your pup. If needed, I can crate them safely when stepping out, or leave them with a frozen treat and a favorite toy to keep them calm and comfortable, especially if they experience separation anxiety, as my own dog does! I tailor every visit to the individual dog. Whether your pup needs a long, energetic walk or a short and easy stroll, I'll follow their lead. I'm always attentive on walks, making sure they don't pick up anything harmful off the street, and equally watchful in the home to keep them safe and out of trouble. Most importantly, your dog will never be short on love. I'll give them all the pets, cuddles, and attention they could ever want because I truly love animals!!

About: Hey! I’m 27 year old vet tech student who works in emergency/speciality veterinary medicine and treats all animals as if they were my own. I have experience feeding, walking, basic grooming, and medicating pets of all sizes including small animals, reptiles and Aquatic animals as well as animals with special needs. I also own two happy healthy dogs, a 5 year old daschund and a 6 year old Labrador terrier mix. I genuinely care about your pets needs and comfort and happiness as well as yours- so expect plenty of photos while you are away from them. Best time to contact me would be early afternoons and mornings, and my schedule is completely available on Thursday, Friday’s and Saturdays so contact me ASAP to leave your pets in the best care! I work full time at an animal hospital and my schedule is usually the same every week, but somewhat flexible. Let me know in advance and we may be able to come up with a plan tailored to your baby. I treat all pets as if they were my own with respect for routine, please let me know what your pet needs to thrive in your absence so I can make them comfortable and happy as well as safe and healthy.
