About: I (Tori) am a third year veterinary student at LIU post with a passion for providing high quality, reliable care to all animals! I have extensive experience working in veterinary clinics as well as pet sitting since I was in high school, so I am comfortable providing medical care to your pets. I understand how important it is finding appropriate pet sitter that accommodates all your needs, as I have two cats at home myself and it takes a lot of time finding the perfect person! I am also currently working in a veterinary clinic on top of being a veterinary student, so I’m constantly improving my education and experience with pet health. My boyfriend (Steven) is also a pet sitter and had multiple dogs growing up, and has extensive experience caring for them. He may join me for some pet sitting gigs unless you prefer just me or him, the pricing does not change. Whether it’s us together or one of us caring for your pets, we strive to be responsible, loving, and provide the best care for your pets. We have 2 cats at home- so it is our priority to treat every animal as if it’s our own! Every pet is unique, and I am more than happy to go above and beyond to provide the care your pets deserve! There is no such thing as asking for “too much”, I will provide as many updates as you need throughout the day, respond to your messages right away, and facetime/video chat if you’d like live updates. I (Tori) am a full-time veterinary student currently completing my 3rd year and my schedule varies daily. Some days I am in school 8-5, 9-11, 1-3, with weekends having most availability. Steven works full-time 5 days a week from 8-5. Steven and I work together to care for rover pets, but I (Tori) will be the primary caretaker. We have 2 cats in the house so it's very important to us that we provide quality care for ALL animals in our lives, including the ones we petsit for! Please let us know what your expectations are for your schedule so we can coordinate our schedules. IMPORTANT: We both are not able to stay in your home 24/7 due to our own pets and schedules! We are dedicated to providing quality and reliable care and will communicate with you on how we can be the best caregivers. Before we provide any care, we will come to your home and plan an initial meet and greet with you, any family members, and your pet(s) of course so we can make sure everyone is comfortable! We will communicate with you often while caring for your pet(s) and acknowledge any special requests you have for us as well! There's no such thing as asking for too much when pet sitting for your animals- they are your priority and we will be flexible to make sure we are the best caretaker for your pets!

About: I have a genuine love for animals and enjoy spending time caring for them. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and different needs. I am patient, responsible, and attentive, and I always strive to make pets feel safe, comfortable and loved. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing or providing companionship, I treat every pet with the same love and attention I would give my own. I’m currently a second year medical student with a mostly remote schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive and loving care for your pets. Since I spend much of my time studying from home, I’m able to offer frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of companionship throughout the day. I enjoy having animals beside me while I study and can easily incorporate their needs into my daily routine. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I understand how important it is to leave your animals with someone you can trust. Whether caring for your dogs in my home or yours, I will provide a clean, calm, loving and safe environment. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines and any special instructions provided by the owner.

About: After having to rehome my sweet Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie mix) due to housing arrangements, I’ve made it my mission to love and care for every pet as if they were my own. Your furry friend’s comfort and happiness will always come first with me! I never tire of playtime and have plenty of energy to keep up with even the most playful pups—but I also adore snuggling with laid-back dogs who just want some company. Since I love being outdoors and staying active, I’d be more than happy to take your dog on long walks or fun outdoor adventures. I live in a rental home without access to a backyard, but I’m just a short 10-minute walk from a park I know well and love visiting with pets. At home, I have two older, friendly cats who are very relaxed and comfortable around dogs. About: I have always grown up with dogs in my home. Currently, my family has one high energy black lab. In September of 2024, I also adopted my first own dog, Millie! I have watched, played with, fed, and walked dogs for many years including family and friends. I am currently in my final year of veterinary school. I also have worked as a veterinary assistant so have first aid and medical skills. I’m in my clinical year of vet school so my schedule varies by which rotation I’m on! Early morning and evening would probably be best for me most of the time. I try to update my availability calendar as often as I can! My home is very safe. There are plenty of paths and green spaces for walking. Your animal would have to get up one flight of steps.

About: I have owned pets since I was 4 years old. I have worked in the veterinary field since I was sixteen and am starting my 2nd year of veterinary school at Long Island University. Over the years I have pet sit for a total of 25 different dogs, 15 cats, a bearded dragon, a hamster, guinea pigs, and a turtle. I am able to medicate any dogs or cats, as well as give any injections needed (ex. insulin). I also have experience at a dog daycare where I was in charge of over 40 dogs of all sizes in one large yard together. I am currently working full time at UrgentVet and work second shift so I am available in the mornings or any time on my days off. When school starts at the end of August, I will be able to work around my class schedule and make adjustments as needed for your pet. I care for pets as if they are my own. I make sure they are comfortable and keep their daily routine that they are used to, to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible.

About: I’ve taken care of my families dog since I was 13 years old. I currently have a maltipoo who’s 2 years old and I’ve had him since he was a puppy. I’ve also taken care of neighbors dogs in the past as well and they relied on me when they were out of town. I am currently working from home on mondays and Fridays so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I can walk at any point in my day if I don’t have a prior meeting scheduled. I love going for walks to keep dogs active throughout the day. Treats are a necessity and positive reinforcement is needed to be the dogs new best friend

About: hello, my name is Jackie, I live in Syosset and have a 2.5 year old male goldendoodle named champ who gets along with other dogs every well. I also have an 8 year old son who loves dogs as well. we would love to watch your dog while you vacation or if they need a walk etc. my husband and I work from home and are in the office 2x/week but weekends are pretty open. let me know your needs and Ill let you know what works work from home in office 2x/week and are flexible for boarding over the weekend. if needed can do walks during the week for your dog i have a fenced in yard so the dogs can run together and we take champ for walks as well so they would have fun together

About: I have obtained my degree as a Veterinary technology while also having gained over 5 years of experience in various veterinary settings ranging from general practice, emergency, specialties and animals shelters. During my externships and being employed currently at a couple of animal hospitals I have gained a tremendous amount of skills including administering medication, becoming CPR certified, wound treatments, proper monitoring of animal vitals and much more. My skills on different types of animals ranges from dogs, cats, rabbits, bird and many exotics! I have plans to continue my education this fall by attending Veterinary medicine college and becoming a DVM! As a current graduate from veterinary technology school I have an abundance of time to dedicate to proper pet care. While also working in veterinary clinics, these hours are most midday and allowing me to be consistent to providing care typically most mornings and night during the week and midday during the weekends. With my wide range of services I offer, I have been trusted to care for pets in clients homes. In order to keep clients feeling happy and not anxious I make sure to keep constant communication, as well as using my animal care knowledge and skills to satisfy not only the pets but the clients as well!

About: I currently work at an emergency veterinary hospital as a doctor assistant so I can be well trusted with your pets. I’m reliable and pay close attention to details. I’ve grown up with animals my entire life so caring for them has become second nature to me! I currently work full time, however I only work Sunday until 4pm and then Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. I am more than happy to take care of your pets before and after work, as well as on my days off I would care for your pets as if they are my own. I’ve grown up with animals my entire life so I’ve become accustomed to taking care of them. My pet care just becomes part of my routine. Your animals are cared for as if they’re my own so I will treat them the way I’d want someone to treat my pets I care for pets exactly how an owner asks of me. If you want me to sleep in the bed with your dog/cat I will do that. I like full transparency and there is no such thing as a crazy request!

About: My family has a total of 6 dogs ( 5 shihtzus and a german shephard) and I have taken care of them all since the age of 18, along with my 10 year old pup of course! Nothing is too "extra" for this dog mom. I wipe paws and tushies after every walk if you'd like! Picky eaters? I'll stand next to your pup, encourgae him/her to eat with baby talk if that's the only way they eat! I currently work from home full time and I'm available most weekends for walks and overnight stays. I love the company and the push to go outside for a walk!! For overnight stays, I have a clean studio apartment and they are allowed on my couch if comfortable! There is more than enough space for a crate as well. My street is pretty quiet for those pups who get scared of loud noises. No other dogs are living with me at the moment so all my attention is theirs!

About: I have lifelong experience owning and caring for dogs and cats, I have had cats since I was a baby and a dog since I was 16. This experience includes managing daily feeding schedules, administering oral medications, and walking high-energy or not so high energy dogs. For the past three years, I have regularly pet-sat for neighbors and friends, looking after senior dogs with mobility issues and young puppies. I am comfortable handling multiple pets at once, providing updates with photos, and following home-care guidelines. I work Tuesday 1 to 5 Thursday 2 to 5 Wednesday 4 to 10 PM Friday 4 to 10 PM Sunday 4 to 10 PM. I have a dog of my own. He is a German shepherd Akita mix. he is very moody so because of him I’ve gotten good at reading dog body language.He goes to the dog park every day so I experience how to handle aggressive dogs, and quirky behaviors.
