About: I have experience dog sitting for more than 8 years. I have experience working with companion animals in veterinary clinics as a vet assistant and am currently a veterinary student at the Long Island university. I am currently not working as I am a student so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets after class which will end before noon on most days. I would make sure to care for your pets as if they were my own by closely sticking to their normal routines and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I am respectful to client’s home and always provide updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you are away.

About: HIGHLY EXPERIENCED WITH DOGS THAT HAVE BEHAVIORAL ISSUES!! Eager to work! :) I have grown up with, and helped care for, dogs my whole life. For the past 3 years I have been training my dog, currently with assistance from a trainer. He was fearful-reactive and is now an amazing service dog in training. I have been a volunteer at the world’s largest no-kill shelter for 2 years now. I have handled dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I have worked with blind and senior dogs. I have run puppy play groups, as well as puppy mill, senior, and teen play groups. some behavioral challenges in dogs that I have worked with include: fearful; reactive; food and/or object possessive; stranger danger; seperation anxiety; dog vs dog aggression; strong leadership; mouthy; and more i’m sure i’m forgetting. I have taken several extensive dog training classes to improve my skill and knowledge. I was the first 16 year old to reach one of the most advanced dog levels. I am very well-versed in understanding dog body language. I have dealt with sick dogs as well as dogs with skin conditions. I have helped get the neighbors dog to eat, as well as go potty and play. I also have experience with cats from the shelter as i have taken advanced feline behavior classes. I am able to understand cat body language fairly well. I have worked with cats as well as kittens. I can care for, and clean up after, dogs and/or cats. I will always respect your pets boundaries. I will genuinely treat your fur babies as my own. My dedication and passion truly is to ALL animals. 🩷 I am a full time college student. I regularly update my calendar to show my availability. Make sure to check there! Can’t wait to hear from you :) I will make sure your pet has fresh food and water, as well as making sure there is nothing clearly dangerous left out that the pet could hurt themselves with or eat. I will ensure everything is as it was when I came, as well as closing and locking any doors I used. I will dispose of animal waste as instructed. On walks I have a steady balance and strong leash hold to ensure the dog stays with me. I may carry treats with me for minor training/intervention (if allowed and if the dog pulls or something like that). If your dog is scared of certain things or creatures I will take precautions to avoid anything triggering to the dog. Lastly, I will certainly make sure the pet(s) feel loved, happy, and relaxed.

About: I have dog walking experience for others as well as being a dog owner. I believe and feel that dogs are important to people and families, given the warmth and generous attention dogs give to their owners. I treat other dogs as if they were my own. You can be assured your instructions for your dog s needs and routines will be followed and that your dog will respond well to me. I am currently a college student, only working on my thesis to graduate in December, leaving me a lot of time to care for your dog. My references will tell you I am super responsible and caring.

Santiago can be stubborn and Nicholas was patient and flexible with Santiago’s needs. Santiago can’t go up and down the stairs and Nicholas was really understanding and carried him up and down the stairs for his walks. Nicholas kept me up to date on Santiago’s walks and sent pictures which I really appreciated. I also just appreciated Nicholas enthusiasm and sense of humor when dealing with Santiago’s silliness during walks. I would highly recommend Nicholas to care for your pup.”

About: I have been pet sitting for about 7 years. I have experience caring for animals with complex needs (such as medication administration). I will love your pets like my own and keep them happy until you get home! I work full time M-F and can drop in on your pets in the morning and in the evening. I am available all weekends with 1-2 day notice. I love animals and would be happy to adjust my schedule wherever I can. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs of my own. My dogs graze however their schedule can be adjusted if your pet is not a grazer and reactive to food.

About: I am currently a veterinary student, and previously have worked as a veterinary technician as well as a supervisor at a boarding facility/doggy daycare. I have experience with various breeds and sizes and my love for animals extends to all. I am currently working as a veterinary technician for the summer, but am looking to get some extra pet love on the weekends whenever possible! I have experience with the handle and care of animals of varying temperaments and medical needs and look at the care of each pet to be very individual to their specific needs.

About: I am an experienced dog owner, having cared for my own senior dog post surgery. I’m great with administering medication and am always running around being playful with the animals I care for. I’m currently a hybrid worker where I can work from home some days! I am also available on weekends! Pet care is a part of my daily routine since I have my own dog. I have a fenced yard in my own home. I take my own dog out every couple hours or so when I can and give her two 30 min walks if I can.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, and small animals from a young age, and have been dog and house sitting since 16. I have animal handling experience, as well as medical and emergency knowledge. I can handle both large and young dogs, with puppy and senior experience. I am free all weekdays and weekends and flexible with walking and/or visiting times depending on your needs. Pet care is currently my top priority. I offer house sitting as well, and can care for plants and pools outside, as well as clean up after dogs and cats if needed.

I had a Lhasa Apso for 14 wonderful years who was truly my best friend, so I understand what it means to love a pet like family. My cats are part of my heart, but they mostly keep to their own area of the home and will have little to no interaction with your dog.
