I will make sure your pet has fresh food and water, as well as making sure there is nothing clearly dangerous left out that the pet could hurt themselves with or eat. I will ensure everything is as it was when I came, as well as closing and locking any doors I used. I will dispose of animal waste as instructed. On walks I have a steady balance and strong leash hold to ensure the dog stays with me. I may carry treats with me for minor training/intervention (if allowed and if the dog pulls or something like that). If your dog is scared of certain things or creatures I will take precautions to avoid anything triggering to the dog. Lastly, I will certainly make sure the pet(s) feel loved, happy, and relaxed.

Please let me know any health or behavioral needs/issues related to your pets (EX: recourse guarding, fearful, flight risk, strong leadership, reactive) Let me know behaviors you do and do not enforce with your pets, so I can do the same (EX: jumping, being on furniture, barking/meowing at certain things, etc). Feel free to tell me every cute and or annoying quirk about your pets

I love letting dogs take their time sniffing trees etc when on walks. I may let them choose the path we go on, and even run with them. I can set up scent games like puzzles or stuffed kong toys. I will play with and/or cuddle your pets. I will listen to what they want and provide it (within reason of course).

HIGHLY EXPERIENCED WITH DOGS THAT HAVE BEHAVIORAL ISSUES!! Eager to work! :) I have grown up with, and helped care for, dogs my whole life. For the past 3 years I have been training my dog, currently with assistance from a trainer. He was fearful-reactive and is now an amazing service dog in training. I have been a volunteer at the world’s largest no-kill shelter for 2 years now. I have handled dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I have worked with blind and senior dogs. I have run puppy play groups, as well as puppy mill, senior, and teen play groups. some behavioral challenges in dogs that I have worked with include: fearful; reactive; food and/or object possessive; stranger danger; seperation anxiety; dog vs dog aggression; strong leadership; mouthy; and more i’m sure i’m forgetting. I have taken several extensive dog training classes to improve my skill and knowledge. I was the first 16 year old to reach one of the most advanced dog levels. I am very well-versed in understanding dog body language. I have dealt with sick dogs as well as dogs with skin conditions. I have helped get the neighbors dog to eat, as well as go potty and play, and dog walked for several clients. I also have experience with cats from the shelter as i have taken advanced feline behavior classes. I am able to understand cat body language fairly well. I have worked with cats as well as kittens, and cat sat several times. I can care for, and clean up after, dogs and/or cats. I will always respect your pets boundaries. I am currently an undergrad with the goals of becoming a veterinarian! I will genuinely treat your fur babies as my own. My dedication and passion truly is to ALL animals. 🩷

Highly recommend! She is incredibly caring, thorough, and communicative. I always appreciate the updates she provides about the timing and length of the walk, and pictures of the walk. It gives me peace of mind knowing my dog is in great hands and having such a great time. Reliable, attentive, and clearly loves what she does!
