“Thank you for taking such great care of my big guy! It is always easier leaving knowing he’s in good hands. I appreciated the regular updates and photos. Will be requesting to stay with Nick again in the future.”

“My pug Charlie had another wonderful time with Abbie and Peachy. Charlie feels really safe with Abbie even though she is a little anxious and Peachy is a great friend that helps Charlie to stay active and socialized especially in this cold weather. Outstanding hosts!”

About: 💠 Hello! I offer pet care for when you’re not able to be there. I am available for drop-in visits, pet sitting, pet daycare, and also pet walking (even for cats!). 🚙 I currently provide pet care services for most of the Nassau County area and some parts of Nassau-Queens border. I am also able to travel to Manhattan with added transportation coverage. I am local: Repeat services booked with me receive special accommodations & rates. 🌃 Messages that are sent after hours on Rover may be responded to on the following day. 🔹 I’m experienced with small breeds, or toy breeds, specifically Pomeranians, been around them all my life, including newborns and senior dogs who were raised starting as puppies. 🔹 Experienced with docile cat breeds, in particular Persian, Himalayan, Ragdoll, Maine Coon and other related cat breeds. 🔹 Have experience with Goldfish, Bettas and birds such as Budgies, so knowledgeable about care. 🐾 I’m intuitive and pay attention to picking up the different ways a dog or cat expresses nonverbal communication, they constantly give us cues. About Me: I own a color-point Persian cat who is 7 years old that I enjoy spoiling. I can speak Italian, enjoy gardening, art, sewing, yoga, tennis & pilates. I’m a fan of the original Twilight movie directed by Catherine Hardwicke. 🐾 I’m currently providing pet care for a King Charles Cavalier who has mobility issues and dietary restrictions, but he is such a big mush! I am also caring for a special needs 4 month old kitten who needs to be syringe-fed, given both topical & oral medication on schedule, along with helping her with using a litter box. In addition to assisting with care of a (palm-sized) rescue kitten who is less than one month old needing to be bottle fed every few hours, given antibiotic medication for her eyes and frequent cleaning with wet wipes, due to being too young to know how to use a litter box. I have found it to be extremely rewarding and willing to look after a few more furbabies within my local area. 🔹 I’m trustworthy and reliable, I would always practice good manners. Respectful of privacy when I’m in a client’s home. I make sure that when I’m with your pet, safety is an upmost priority.
“Just an incredible experience. Michelle was a pleasure to have dog sit Hero. She sent tons of pictures and videos and also gave Hero a bath! I would recommend her to anyone. 10/10.”

“Jordan is pleasant and responsive. Latke was returned happy and healthy. He let me know that he had another booking that would overlap mine, which turned out OK but would have been an issue if the dogs didn’t get along. His apartment is small and it would have been difficult to keep the dogs separated. Also I would have appreciated more photos, especially on the first day with the other dog. He responded promptly with pictures when prompted. Overall, I would recommend him.”

“It was such a pleasure to have Shirley watch our dog. He is a senior dog and requires additional attention. Shirley was amazing and keeping us up to date on how he was doing and he honestly was on vacation himself. He had so much fun!”

“I had a pet sitter emergency and had to find someone to take care of my baby for several days at the last minute. Adriana immediately put me at ease as she was very communicative and sent us pictures throughout the day. I would definitely book her again!”

“Britany was amazing with Maddie! She sent pictures everyday and played with her outside. She even goes out of her way to pick up the dogs. Highly recommended and will continue to bring her back when I'm out of town.”

“We had such a wonderful experience! Dior felt right at home from the moment she arrived and was so well cared for during her stay. We loved getting updates and could tell she was receiving lots of attention, love, and even some extra treats. Especially because Dior was in heat we were so happy she was comfortable. The thoughtful gift keychain was such a sweet surprise and really showed how much they care about both pets and their owners. We came home to a happy pup and couldn't ask for more. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and attentive to watch their dog!”

“Ilona was fantastic. Leila was so tired from all the fun she had. Ilona sent lots of pictures and it was clear from all of them how well she took care of our dog.”

“Juan was great! Was our first time leaving our pup (She’s 1 and a half) and he answered all of our questions and was very patient. Juan sent us many photos during her stay (even though it was only one night) which we really appreciated. My dog seemed to take a liking to Juan and the environment was fun and playful. He’s very trustworthy and I would leave my dog with him again!”

“I loved Christopher's services. There was more than enough space for my Jasmine to play and explore. Christopher provided daily photos or videos of my baby at play. The price was reasonable and perfect compared to other sitters. I believe my little Jasmine enjoyed herself. I would be definitely using his services again”

“Jana is awesome! She is responsive and kept us updated with pictures. We felt comfortable leaving Nori in her care and Nori really seemed to enjoy her stay there as well. We think she was sad to leave lol. Luckily, we already booked again with Jana for another upcoming trip!”

“Wendy was amazing! She constantly sent updates about Oreo and was very responsive to my inquiries. I would not hesitate to recommend her and to use her services again.”

“Jun G is extremely accommodating generous and sincerely kind. My dog Beau doesn't even look back at me ounce he's with Jun lol. Sends lots of pics video and updates, she is wonderful, I feel very comfortable Beau is safe and in the very best personal home care, awesome 👌”

“This was my first experience with Rover, and I will admit I was nervous leaving my baby with a stranger. Thankfully, Karine’s glowing reviews were 100% true. Karine helped make me (and Laila) feel comfortable with the entire process. Karine provided frequent updates with pics throughout my pup’s stay. She showed Laila love and care as if she were her own. I highly recommend Karine to anyone and everyone!! I will be sure to rebook with her again. Thank you!! 💜”

“This was the first time we have ever left Marley with someone while we traveled and Nathalie’s communication put me at ease. She sent photos and videos and updated me every day, sometime multiple times as day, as to what was going on with Marley. She was very attentive to his needs and his personality quirks and I could see that Marley, who is a bit anxious, was relaxing and settling in well. I have already sent a request to rebook Nathalie for July, when we are traveling again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glen Head
It is such a luxury to go on vacation knowing my animals are in Danny’s care. He and his family treat my fur babies like members of their own family. During our trip, Danny even dressed Lilo in a Colombia soccer jersey so she could cheer on the game with them, and both dogs got to celebrate the Fourth of July as part of the family. He also reached out ahead of the fireworks to ask how they typically react so he could make them as comfortable and stress-free as possible. That level of thoughtfulness and genuine love for animals is rare. I never worry when they’re with Danny, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Danielle has taken care of our Cavapoo twice, and we couldn't be happier with the care she provided. She is dependable, attentive, and extremely professional. From the moment we met her, we felt confident that our dog was in great hands. She kept us updated, made sure all of our dog's needs were met, and treated him with genuine kindness and care. It gave us real peace of mind knowing he was safe, happy, and well cared for while we were away. We highly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. We will definitely be booking her again!
