About: I've had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes as naturally to me as anything. When I got my puppy four years ago, I dedicated myself fully to his training and development, spending every day with him through those early months to make sure he grew into the happy, well-behaved dog he is today. I also have experience with the more challenging side of pet care. My older dog had diabetes, and I spent a great deal of time managing his condition, administering medication daily, and making sure his final years were as comfortable and loving as possible. It taught me a lot about patience, attentiveness, and caring for pets with special medical needs. Beyond my own dogs, I've spent years babysitting, walking, and watching dogs for friends and neighbors. Animals have always been drawn to me, as I have a natural calm with them that puts even shy or anxious pets at ease. While I'm new to Rover, I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience. Whether it's a long walk, a trip to the park, or just cuddling up with their favorite toys, I pour real love into every visit. I understand how much your dog means to you, and I'll treat them like my own every single time. I recently graduated from college and will be starting my Master of Social Work program at NYU in September. I am available all summer and have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve! I'm currently based in Plainview, Long Island, where I'm free and flexible for any and all pet care needs throughout the summer. Come September, I'll be living in New York City, where I'll be available for drop-in visits and walks during the week, and open to extended stays on weekends. Whether you're on Long Island or in the city, I'd love to help care for your pup! Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have experience both crating and not crating dogs, so I'm happy to follow whatever routine works best for your pup. If needed, I can crate them safely when stepping out, or leave them with a frozen treat and a favorite toy to keep them calm and comfortable, especially if they experience separation anxiety, as my own dog does! I tailor every visit to the individual dog. Whether your pup needs a long, energetic walk or a short and easy stroll, I'll follow their lead. I'm always attentive on walks, making sure they don't pick up anything harmful off the street, and equally watchful in the home to keep them safe and out of trouble. Most importantly, your dog will never be short on love. I'll give them all the pets, cuddles, and attention they could ever want because I truly love animals!!

About: I (Tori) am a third year veterinary student at LIU post with a passion for providing high quality, reliable care to all animals! I have extensive experience working in veterinary clinics as well as pet sitting since I was in high school, so I am comfortable providing medical care to your pets. I understand how important it is finding appropriate pet sitter that accommodates all your needs, as I have two cats at home myself and it takes a lot of time finding the perfect person! I am also currently working in a veterinary clinic on top of being a veterinary student, so I’m constantly improving my education and experience with pet health. My boyfriend (Steven) is also a pet sitter and has a dog (Cho) currently, and has extensive experience caring for dogs. He may join me for some pet sitting gigs unless you prefer just me or him, the pricing does not change. Whether it’s us together or one of us caring for your pets, we strive to be responsible, loving, and provide the best care for your pets. We have 3 pets at home- so it is our priority to treat every animal as if it’s our own! Every pet is unique, and I am more than happy to go above and beyond to provide the care your pets deserve! There is no such thing as asking for “too much”, I will provide as many updates as you need throughout the day, respond to your messages right away, and facetime/video chat if you’d like live updates. Steven and I have differing schedules so we can alternate who can help as well. We have 3 pets in the house so it's very important to us that we provide quality care for ALL animals in our lives, including the ones we petsit for! We are dedicated to providing quality and reliable care and will communicate with you on how we can be the best caregivers. Before we provide any care, we will come to your home and plan an initial meet and greet with you, any family members, and your pet(s) of course so we can make sure everyone is comfortable! We will communicate with you often while caring for your pet(s) and acknowledge any special requests you have for us as well! About: I have always grown up with dogs in my home. Currently, my family has one high energy black lab. In September of 2024, I also adopted my first own dog, Millie! I have watched, played with, fed, and walked dogs for many years including family and friends. I am currently in my final year of veterinary school. I also have worked as a veterinary assistant so have first aid and medical skills. I’m in my clinical year of vet school so my schedule varies by which rotation I’m on! Early morning and evening would probably be best for me most of the time. I try to update my availability calendar as often as I can! My home is very safe. There are plenty of paths and green spaces for walking. Your animal would have to get up one flight of steps.

About: I grew up with dogs all my life, from puppies to seniors I always made sure they always had the best dog life to live. It is important to always be flexible for your fur babies because they are just as unpredictable as humans are. I always make sure to always be attentive to their needs and never neglect them when they need you the most. Dogs as they get older develop their own routines themselves and will make sure their humans are aware of it too which is important to always pay attention. I care for the pets in my home and others by always respecting their boundaries and always making sure they are comfortable and safe first.

About: As a trained ecologist and experienced animal caretaker, I bring professional-level attention and compassion to every pet I work with. My background includes hands-on care for mammals, reptiles, and marine animals, giving me a strong understanding of animal behavior and health. I spend much of my free time hiking and exploring the outdoors, so I’m especially attentive to active dogs who thrive on long walks and enrichment. I’m also a dedicated reptile owner, comfortable with specialized husbandry needs and detailed care routines. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, scaled, or furry, I provide patient, reliable care tailored to their individual personality. My field of work is seasonal. I am currently available full-time. During my work season, I typically work full-time and limit my services better accommodate my schedule. I will carefully follow any instructions left by their owner. As an owner of a pit bull with separation anxiety, I understand the stress some pets feel when their owners are away for extended periods of time, so I will do my best to follow any instructions left by owners to ensure their pets adhere to their daily schedule. I also STRONGLY believe in keeping dogs leashed at all times while on a walk.

About: I've grown with dogs since I was a little kid in my home town, dogs have always been a great part of my life, and should be treated as family members. Me and my wife have experience working with dogs for a different company, we just moved to the area and looking for new friends to take care of! I also have a play pen indoors if needed!

I love walking dogs and there is a dog friendly (leashed only) park near by if your pet enjoys lots of exercise. You can trust me to keep your pets safe, engaged and happy in my home. Your pet will have free range in my house which is dog friendly. I can provide a dog bed, blankets and towels etc. I have a fully fenced backyard that provides a safe and spacious environment for outdoor play. If your pet requires medication I am happy to give as necessary.

About: Hi! My name is Bella. I’ve had years of experience caring for animals: dog and cat sitting, dog walking, puppy care (including caring for newborn puppies). My family has always had dogs of our own as well, including many rescue dogs over the years. I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and offer a flexible schedule to suit you and your pet’s needs. I’m currently working part time and can adjust my schedule to your pets needs and can manage walks, playtime, etc. in between my current schedule. I can easily crate your pet if needed. I live across the street from a big field and usually take pups on walks there or around my neighborhood. I can also take them to a fenced in park nearby if the owner is okay with that. Although I work part time close by I’m around most of the day so your pup will have plenty of attention and play time!

About: I am always quick to respond. I love animals and think play time is important for them. Depending on the dogs age I love to teach them new tricks as well! I am currently working full time but working from home so I am available for early morning walks or later in the day. My schedule is pretty flexible, especially on weekends. I currently do not have any dogs, I always had them growing up and we would take them everywhere with us from the beach to hiking trails.

About: I've had dogs for my entire life since I was a child. Bred Australian shepherds, so comfortable with puppies. My aussie had 11 pups. Such a wonderful time, bottle feeding. Have gone to many dog training classes. The dogs are part of the family while here. Not caged unless you want them crated when I'm not home. When they are outside I stay with them entire time, not left in back yard without me there to supervise. Simply adore dogs and all their own personalities. I take the time to spend individual and special time with the dog everyday while staying with me. Have my own dog, An Australian shepherd named Jilli, she simply loves having dog friends over so she can play and sharing her dog toys. Her favorite thing is playing catch in the backyard with a dog friend.
