Where Dogs Feel Safe & Understood

I believe exceptional pet care starts with understanding the dog in front of you—not treating every dog the same. My goal is to create a calm, structured home where your dog feels safe, understood, and genuinely enjoys their stay. Every dog is unique, so I take the time to learn their personality, routines, communication style, and comfort needs. Whether they’re playful and outgoing, shy and observant, or simply adjusting to a new environment, I adapt my care to meet them where they are. Caring for dogs has been part of my life for over 28 years, but what truly shaped my approach was fostering and working with dogs who each needed something different. I’ve learned that good care isn’t about following the same routine for every dog—it’s about observing, listening, and responding to the individual in front of you. During their stay, your dog becomes part of our daily rhythm. We balance supervised play, enrichment, rest, outdoor time, and plenty of affection. My own dog, Winter, loves welcoming compatible playmates, and I carefully supervise introductions and interactions to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. Every dog adjusts differently to a new environment. Most settle in quickly, while others need additional one-on-one support, enrichment, or supervision to feel comfortable. If I determine that a dog requires a significantly higher level of individualized care than expected, I’ll discuss it with you before making any adjustments to the booking. My goal is always to be transparent so we can provide the best possible experience for both you and your dog.

Caroline was amazing with our pup! Not only was she able to fit us in last minute when we were in a pinch, but she made my pup feel so at home in her home while we were out of town. Not having to worry about your pup while you’re out of town because you know they are being cared for and loved by someone makes it so much easier to go away.

What a wonderful experience for Wally and me with Caroline watching him! He did not want to come home! She is a loving dog mom herself and sent me lots of photos while he stayed with her – he was smiling in all of them. Cannot recommend Caroline highly enough.

Caroline is fabulous! She has watched our senior dog several times and has consistently done an amazing job. She followed our instructions regarding food, walks, and meds perfectly and was super communicative, providing regular updates and photos. She treats our pet like he’s her own and when we need a sitter, I can relax and feel comfortable knowing he’s being cared for by Caroline!

I know Caroline would be an excellent pet caregiver based on how responsible and loving she is with her own dog, Winter. As an owner, Caroline understands the importance of patience and consistency in training to give Winter the best life possible. She treats her as a member of her family, showering her with plenty of love, attention, and exercise. Caroline is a calm presence and would make any animal in her care feel immediately comfortable.

Schedule

I pet sit and offer dog behavioral support on a full time basis. This allows me to customize my schedule around the specific needs of your pups feeding times, walks, and routines. It also means that your dog will be given the attention, enrichment, and reassurance throughout the day that they deserve while adjusting to a new environment. My goal is for every pet to feel at comfortable and at ease while under my care.

Safety, trust & environment

I pride myself on being able to offer peace of mind for each and every individual I work with. In order to accomplish this, I prioritize safety, trust, and communication. I send daily updates with photos/videos so you can see your baby is being well taken care of. When caring for more than one pet at a time in my space I do very slow, supervised introductions with my own dog, Winny, who is a very playful, well socialized, happy girl. If your dog prefers space, I can easily accommodate comfortably separating the pups as needed both indoor and outdoors.

A typical day

I am very active, and hands-on. I find that keeping dogs mentally stimulated throughout the day is a very important key to keeping them at ease, especially while they’re in a new environment. I use positive reinforcement training techniques, puzzle toys, feeding dispensers, and lots of enrichment combined with safe supervised play. Making sure all pups are able to comfortably settle and take adequate breaks is also an important part of our daily routine.
