About: I've had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes as naturally to me as anything. When I got my puppy four years ago, I dedicated myself fully to his training and development, spending every day with him through those early months to make sure he grew into the happy, well-behaved dog he is today. I also have experience with the more challenging side of pet care. My older dog had diabetes, and I spent a great deal of time managing his condition, administering medication daily, and making sure his final years were as comfortable and loving as possible. It taught me a lot about patience, attentiveness, and caring for pets with special medical needs. Beyond my own dogs, I've spent years babysitting, walking, and watching dogs for friends and neighbors. Animals have always been drawn to me, as I have a natural calm with them that puts even shy or anxious pets at ease. While I'm new to Rover, I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience. Whether it's a long walk, a trip to the park, or just cuddling up with their favorite toys, I pour real love into every visit. I understand how much your dog means to you, and I'll treat them like my own every single time. I recently graduated from college and will be starting my Master of Social Work program at NYU in September. I am available all summer and have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve! I'm currently based in Plainview, Long Island, where I'm free and flexible for any and all pet care needs throughout the summer. Come September, I'll be living in New York City, where I'll be available for drop-in visits and walks during the week, and open to extended stays on weekends. Whether you're on Long Island or in the city, I'd love to help care for your pup! Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have experience both crating and not crating dogs, so I'm happy to follow whatever routine works best for your pup. If needed, I can crate them safely when stepping out, or leave them with a frozen treat and a favorite toy to keep them calm and comfortable, especially if they experience separation anxiety, as my own dog does! I tailor every visit to the individual dog. Whether your pup needs a long, energetic walk or a short and easy stroll, I'll follow their lead. I'm always attentive on walks, making sure they don't pick up anything harmful off the street, and equally watchful in the home to keep them safe and out of trouble. Most importantly, your dog will never be short on love. I'll give them all the pets, cuddles, and attention they could ever want because I truly love animals!!

About: Hi! My name is Bella. I’ve had years of experience caring for animals: dog and cat sitting, dog walking, puppy care (including caring for newborn puppies). My family has always had dogs of our own as well, including many rescue dogs over the years. I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and offer a flexible schedule to suit you and your pet’s needs. I’m currently working part time and can adjust my schedule to your pets needs and can manage walks, playtime, etc. in between my current schedule. I can easily crate your pet if needed. I live across the street from a big field and usually take pups on walks there or around my neighborhood. I can also take them to a fenced in park nearby if the owner is okay with that. Although I work part time close by I’m around most of the day so your pup will have plenty of attention and play time!

About: My dog Winnie is 17, so I’ve had lots of experience as a pet carer! Even though Winnie is a small dog, I have experience pet sitting and walking large dogs. I also love cats and have welcomed them into my home to cat sit over the last several years. I work as an independent artist and bartender, so I have a flexible schedule that gives me availability to take care of your furry friend or feline when you’re working! I am available morning, evening and night on weekdays and morning and afternoons on the weekends. I create an environment where each dog can settle in at their own pace. I keep my bookings limited so each dog receives the attention and care they deserve— this is not a high-volume setup. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for. I also offer flexible scheduling and optional pickup/drop-off within a reasonable distance to make travel days as smooth and stress-free as possible. I’m home all day and can be very flexible with schedules, feeding times, walks, and routines. This allows me to give each pet plenty of attention, enrichment, and reassurance throughout the day so they always feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away Your peace of mind and your pet’s safety and emotional wellbeing always come first. For this reason I send daily updates with photos/video so you can be at ease knowing your baby is being well taken care of. When caring for pets in my space, I have a fully fenced yard and a built in playmate. I do very slow, supervised introductions with my own dog, Winny, who is a very playful, happy girl. If either dog prefers space, I can easily accommodate comfortably separating the pups as needed both indoor and outdoors.

About: I enjoy cats and dogs as I have had my own, currently pet sit for my roommates cats while she’s on vacation. Cuddle puddles are my favorite pastime Evenings and weekends are preferred, can be flexible. I can do drop ins anytime past 6pm on the weekdays and anytime on the weekends. Emergency calls can also be arranged. I care for pets by slowly introducing myself, first by smell then when comfortable, by touch. I give treats when warranted, but ensure no over feeding/snacking. Lastly I cuddle with pets who are most comfortable.

My background includes working part-time for a family with 7 dogs of all sizes, which taught me how to handle multiple pets and diverse personalities seamlessly. I currently have two adorable cats and have raised dogs of my own in the past, so I understand both dog and cat needs inside and out. I am very active, I love being on the move and ensuring your pets get all the exercise, long walks, and playtime they need. Being around animals is not only something I excel at, but it is also something I truly enjoy and find incredibly rewarding! I am a master's student right now- so I have multiple days off per week and spend lots of time at home studying, which gives me ample opportunity to fit your pets into my weekly schedule. About: Cozy area, lots of attention, run with dog, walk around yard, can meet my dogs! Lots of playtime, food & water, outside time. I’ve owned dogs for over 10 years in my family, I’ve dogsat before in a clients home for a week, whom was also a diabetic, so I had to also give insulin. I am a huge dog lover, and always love being around them. We can go to dog parks, take plenty of walks around the neighborhood, and have great treats! I hope to provide great hospitality for your dog or dogs, and have them enjoy their time just as much as I would be. By letting me watch your dogs, I will make sure we all have the best time together! **please ask about availability during the week as the options on here aren’t the best** I have a full time job during the week.. On weekdays I am usually available on Mondays after 6pm, Tuesdays after 5pm, and Fridays after 5pm! Weekends vary, I’ll do my best to keep my calendar updated! It depends on what the client wants me to do to care for them! Making sure they go to the bathroom, hanging out with them inside, taking them for a walk, etc. overall, I like to make sure the pet(s) are getting attention and being entertained.

About: I have worked with dogs since I was in middle school. I currently am in the process of getting my dog grooming license and work at an animal shelter at the moment. I have experience with large dogs to small dogs, scared and nervous dogs, Mouthy and jumpy dogs, walking strong pulling dogs, administering medication and Grooming! I am just looking to fill my free time doing something I love and passionate about! I’m currently working part-time at an animal shelter and I just received my dog grooming license. I am flexible with my schedule and only work 3 days a week. I would follow all of the instructions the owner has left. Provide your dog with enrichment, treats and walks. If your puppy is scared or anxious I will sit with them, spending the time trying to gain their trust so it’s a positive experience for both parties involved!

It is important to always be flexible for your fur babies because they are just as unpredictable as humans are. About: Hey there! I am new to sitting, but always willing to learn and gain experience :) Happy to take on any type of dog or cat (I have both). My cat is an escape artist, and my dog is insane.
