We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. We were staying out on Long Island, and had event tickets each day in the city, so we needed flexible doggie day care hours to accommodate our needs. We felt so very blessed to find Sarah! About: I have cared for animals ever since I was a little girl, have always had a dog in the house and would walk our neighbors dogs for fun every day. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, lizards etc. I am currently at stay at home mom for my 2 young daughters. I’ve learned that good care isn’t about following the same routine for every dog—it’s about observing, listening, and responding to the individual in front of you. During their stay, your dog becomes part of our daily rhythm. We balance supervised play, enrichment, rest, outdoor time, and plenty of affection. My own dog, Winter, loves welcoming compatible playmates, and I carefully supervise introductions and interactions to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. Every dog adjusts differently to a new environment. Most settle in quickly, while others need additional one-on-one support, enrichment, or supervision to feel comfortable. If I determine that a dog requires a significantly higher level of individualized care than expected, I’ll discuss it with you before making any adjustments to the booking. My goal is always to be transparent so we can provide the best possible experience for both you and your dog. I pet sit and offer dog behavioral support on a full time basis. This allows me to customize my schedule around the specific needs of your pups feeding times, walks, and routines. It also means that your dog will be given the attention, enrichment, and reassurance throughout the day that they deserve while adjusting to a new environment. My goal is for every pet to feel at comfortable and at ease while under my care. I pride myself on being able to offer peace of mind for each and every individual I work with. In order to accomplish this, I prioritize safety, trust, and communication. I send daily updates with photos/videos so you can see your baby is being well taken care of. When caring for more than one pet at a time in my space I do very slow, supervised introductions with my own dog, Winny, who is a very playful, well socialized, happy girl. If your dog prefers space, I can easily accommodate comfortably separating the pups as needed both indoor and outdoors.

About: Animals are family here! I provide patient, loving care tailored to each animal’s personality, routine, and comfort level, with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention. I have experience working with rescue organizations and offer foster care to animals requiring special attention. Currently in service dog training courses with my Australian Shepard. I work from home most days, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m only away from home for about six hours on two days each week. Outside of work, I spend much of my time with my animals, gardening, and enjoying our little homestead—especially when the weather is nice! I have a fully fenced yard plus a separate secured area for my chickens. My own dogs, cats, and chickens live here, but visiting pets are always supervised and safely separated when needed.
