About: Owned dogs since I was a child, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Irish Red & White Setter and a Chihuahua. Experienced with golden doodles and labs. Currently getting my pilots Licence’s and enjoy reading books I’m currently time building for my commercial Licence whenever the weather is good around 5 hours a day when possible. Usually busy at night around 5-8ish otherwise free. I have a tall fenced in yard where I play with my dog or walk him around my neighborhood. Otherwise he sits with me while I study or read.

About: I enjoy cats and dogs as I have had my own, currently pet sit for my roommates cats while she’s on vacation. Cuddle puddles are my favorite pastime Evenings and weekends are preferred, can be flexible. I can do drop ins anytime past 6pm on the weekdays and anytime on the weekends. Emergency calls can also be arranged. I care for pets by slowly introducing myself, first by smell then when comfortable, by touch. I give treats when warranted, but ensure no over feeding/snacking. Lastly I cuddle with pets who are most comfortable.

About: I have been blessed with being a lifelong dog owner since the age of 5 years old. That's over 50 years of feeding, walking and playing with all different kinds of dog breeds, both small and large dogs. I'm recently retired, so I have flexible hours daily. Taking care of your dog is just as rewarding for me as it is for them. I am currently concentrating on weekly, recurring walks or drop-in visits, either 1/2 hr. or 1 hr. I easily walk 10 miles a day, so I have no problem taking your dog on a nice long walk through your neighborhood. The 1 hour visits can be either 1 hour walks or a 1 hour mix of walking and playtime in your yard. It's up to you.

My Fiancé also works full time but he gets out a little earlier than I do. For weekend stays we are available to give your furry family the most attention and care. If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I always aim to make them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.

Since I’m not currently not employed, I’m available full time & on short notice. It’s so important to keep a consistent routine with your pet so they feel comfortable. About: I have worked with dogs since I was in middle school. I currently am in the process of getting my dog grooming license and work at an animal shelter at the moment. I have experience with large dogs to small dogs, scared and nervous dogs, Mouthy and jumpy dogs, walking strong pulling dogs, administering medication and Grooming! I am just looking to fill my free time doing something I love and passionate about! I’m currently working part-time at an animal shelter and I just received my dog grooming license. I am flexible with my schedule and only work 3 days a week. I would follow all of the instructions the owner has left. Provide your dog with enrichment, treats and walks. If your puppy is scared or anxious I will sit with them, spending the time trying to gain their trust so it’s a positive experience for both parties involved!

About: Hey there! I am new to sitting, but always willing to learn and gain experience :) Happy to take on any type of dog or cat (I have both). My cat is an escape artist, and my dog is insane. I can handle it all. I am free all summer for pet care! There is a short stretch of time in August where i will be away, but other than that, I am excited to meet new pet friends :) I am well versed in crating dogs, as well as keeping an eye on mischievous animals. When I got my puppy four years ago, I dedicated myself fully to his training and development, spending every day with him through those early months to make sure he grew into the happy, well-behaved dog he is today. I also have experience with the more challenging side of pet care. My older dog had diabetes, and I spent a great deal of time managing his condition, administering medication daily, and making sure his final years were as comfortable and loving as possible. It taught me a lot about patience, attentiveness, and caring for pets with special medical needs. Beyond my own dogs, I've spent years babysitting, walking, and watching dogs for friends and neighbors. Animals have always been drawn to me, as I have a natural calm with them that puts even shy or anxious pets at ease. While I'm new to Rover, I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience.
