About: I’ve had a special love for animals that started at a young age. For years, friends and family have trusted me to feed, walk, and care for their pets while giving them plenty of love and attention. I currently have four dogs and a parrot, and I’m very comfortable caring for pets of different personalities and needs. I also previously worked at an emergency veterinary hospital as a receptionist, where I learned a lot about pet health, behavior, and the importance of following care instructions closely. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life. I’m new to rover not new to dogs .. including my own dogs and minor house training , such as crate training and small obedience .My husband is a great help with taking care of your pet . I do overnight boarding so if you have a vacation and can’t take your fur baby I’m always happy to help . I love a good walk ! About: I've spent a lot of my adult years with dogs around and have been trusted many times by family. I've had my husky, Togo, spend the week with me multiple times while my dad has been on vacation or just because I wanted to spend time with him while I was up at school in my DPT program or in undergrad. I also have some experience working in an animal hospital! I'm currently not working, so I'll have plenty of time to care for your beautiful pets! I would be available weekdays and weekends. I can easily adapt to schedules and needs of your pets to make it the best experience possible for them! I like to set expectations prior so there isn't any miscommunication and always having an open line of communication throughout. I will always send pictures and updates of your pets too.

About: Hi, I’m Maya! I've had a dog for over 5 years, taught him all of his tricks, pet sit regularly for friends, and have had multiple cats throughout my life (even adopted our current cat, Taro). I have plenty of experience with dogs of many sizes and personalities at my previous doggy daycare job, where I’d supervise/care for/play with 15+ dogs at a time. My position required extensive training on dog body language, their various forms of communication, and to detect different types of illnesses. Ever since I was a child, I loved to learn about the many different breeds of cats, dogs, and other animals! As a full-time student at Suffolk CC, along with working a part-time job, my schedule on the weekdays may be a bit hectic. Please feel free to ask any questions you have, all I ask is that we work together to make things work. I’m a flexible person and will always do my best to accommodate you and your pets! I follow any requests you may have for your pet--- ensuring comfort, safety, and love for them. With my knowledge of dog body language, I’ll do my best to make sure your pup feels safe with me, and of course respect any boundaries they may have. About: I have had dogs since I was 3. Any time any friends and family of mine need their pets watched they ask me. During junior and senior year of high school I was enrolled in boxes for veterinary assisting where we cared for large and small animals including dogs, cats, horses, livestock, exotics, reptiles, and rodents. I am currently in college in the mornings but I am free the majority of my day. I take care of my own animals including a cat, two ferrets, a snake, and several fish. I have plenty of time to care for others as well. I will make sure every animal have under my supervision will remain safe and happy. I have been traveling all over the country the past ten years, taking care of others pets and houses. This includes large lands, with chicken, goats, compost...the whole thing! I also have my own husky mix, and have kept her super happy and healthy. Ive also worked in behavioral health for years, and understand the approach that needs to be taken for both people and animals who have suffered from abuse.

About: I've had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes as naturally to me as anything. When I got my puppy four years ago, I dedicated myself fully to his training and development, spending every day with him through those early months to make sure he grew into the happy, well-behaved dog he is today. I also have experience with the more challenging side of pet care. My older dog had diabetes, and I spent a great deal of time managing his condition, administering medication daily, and making sure his final years were as comfortable and loving as possible. It taught me a lot about patience, attentiveness, and caring for pets with special medical needs. Beyond my own dogs, I've spent years babysitting, walking, and watching dogs for friends and neighbors. Animals have always been drawn to me, as I have a natural calm with them that puts even shy or anxious pets at ease. While I'm new to Rover, I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience. Whether it's a long walk, a trip to the park, or just cuddling up with their favorite toys, I pour real love into every visit. I understand how much your dog means to you, and I'll treat them like my own every single time. I recently graduated from college and will be starting my Master of Social Work program at NYU in September. I am available all summer and have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve! I'm currently based in Plainview, Long Island, where I'm free and flexible for any and all pet care needs throughout the summer. Come September, I'll be living in New York City, where I'll be available for drop-in visits and walks during the week, and open to extended stays on weekends. Whether you're on Long Island or in the city, I'd love to help care for your pup! Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have experience both crating and not crating dogs, so I'm happy to follow whatever routine works best for your pup. If needed, I can crate them safely when stepping out, or leave them with a frozen treat and a favorite toy to keep them calm and comfortable, especially if they experience separation anxiety, as my own dog does! I tailor every visit to the individual dog. Whether your pup needs a long, energetic walk or a short and easy stroll, I'll follow their lead. I'm always attentive on walks, making sure they don't pick up anything harmful off the street, and equally watchful in the home to keep them safe and out of trouble. Most importantly, your dog will never be short on love. I'll give them all the pets, cuddles, and attention they could ever want because I truly love animals!!

I have a set bed time for my dog which is the latest 11P, she does need her beauty sleep after all so if you’re selecting the boarding option and 11P is good for your dog to sleep , then perfect .. if not, feel free to let me know what their sleeping schedule is. My goal is to keep their schedule as closely aligned to their everyday life at home.
