About: I've had dogs for my entire life since I was a child. Bred Australian shepherds, so comfortable with puppies. My aussie had 11 pups. Such a wonderful time, bottle feeding. Have gone to many dog training classes. The dogs are part of the family while here. Not caged unless you want them crated when I'm not home. When they are outside I stay with them entire time, not left in back yard without me there to supervise. Simply adore dogs and all their own personalities. I take the time to spend individual and special time with the dog everyday while staying with me. Have my own dog, An Australian shepherd named Jilli, she simply loves having dog friends over so she can play and sharing her dog toys. Her favorite thing is playing catch in the backyard with a dog friend.
“Not only is Sam my partner, but she has so much love to give and is amazing with Milo. She loves him like her own and he reciprocates with loyalty. For the last year he has been doing things I’ve never seen him do in the 9 years he was alive prior; he makes her follow him outside to play after he does his business in the yard, waits outside her shower, runs onto her lap once we sit outside, checks to see if she’s with me every time I get home, sleeps guarding the bedroom door, and he finally can withstand a car ride! Oh, and Milo hates the groomer so Sam learned how to groom him so he can still see, run, play, and go #2 without his coat getting in the way.”

About: I’ve taken responsibility of my own pets in my family for 10 years. Dog sat for my aunt for two years. Grew up with a Border Collie and two Dobermans! Trained my families new edition corgi, chow chow, and kelpie Shepard mix who’s now 2 years of age. I work part time as a college student finishing up my second semester before summer break. I’d love to walk or check in on any furry friends before/after my lectures and final semester!! I provide a safe, calm, and clean environment, following each pet’s routine closely. I respect their individual needs, ensure secure spaces, and give gentle, attentive care with regular updates.
“Denise is gentle, sweet and soft spoken by nature. This is sensed easily by our cats, who normally shy away from visitors. Instead they come out to greet her and play with her. Most importantly, Denise is great at giving 1 of our cats her medicine via syringe. Very glad to have found her.”

“Violet is literally a dog whisperer. Our pups took to her right away with no anxiety ( our Hank has some issues with anxiety). She is so warm and kind and we k ew right away we have found our person to keep our pups safe and happy. Can’t say enough about her. I’m just so grateful”

About: Always feel the warmth of dogs of my family & friends . Usually they run to me right away! Love to play games & take long walks with your dog. Since I’m not currently not employed, I’m available full time & on short notice. It’s so important to keep a consistent routine with your pet so they feel comfortable. I prefer taking care of pets in their home environment. I can drive long distance if needed. Looking forward to getting to know your pet & starting a strong companionship right away.

“Amy took great care of my dog and cat. I can’t explain what a relief it was to find her. My mini dachshund is 16 years old and I don’t like to bring him into new environments or away from his best friend pelé the cat, so it worked out perfectly. I would highly recommend Amy!”

About: I’ve had a special love for animals that started at a young age. For years, friends and family have trusted me to feed, walk, and care for their pets while giving them plenty of love and attention. I currently have four dogs and a parrot, and I’m very comfortable caring for pets of different personalities and needs. I also previously worked at an emergency veterinary hospital as a receptionist, where I learned a lot about pet health, behavior, and the importance of following care instructions closely. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life. I care for my own dogs every day, so feeding, walks, playtime, and routines are second nature to me. I plan my schedule to allow time for drop-in visits and make sure each pet gets my full attention during our time together. I’m reliable, organized, and flexible, and I treat every visit as a priority, not something rushed or squeezed in. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and carefully follow all instructions provided. I make sure pets stay on their usual routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any medication schedules. I give them plenty of attention and affection to help them feel comfortable while their owner is away. I also keep the home tidy and provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
“Jennifer did a great job caring for my cat Loni and I would not hesitate to engage her again. She was very understanding of my cat’s temperament and treated her with care and consideration. She even visited during a horrible snowstorm to make sure Loni was taken care of!”

About: I have had pets throughout my entire life. From dogs to cats to hamsters to turtles. I love to go on walks with my dog who is an 8-month-old Husky puppy. I also love to play with him, bring him to the park, and even go swimming with him. I also have a 1-year-old cat that I love to play with. I also do the feeding for both my dog and my cat so feeding your pet would not be an issue for me. I would love to help you with whatever you need whether it be dog sitting, dog walking, cat sitting, or even just a drop in to play with your pet. I have a pretty open schedule so feel free to reach out!
“Max is amazing! And Jackson adores him! Max recently came by for a drop in visit. He arrived on time and was able to take Jackson on a much-appreciated walk. Then he spent time playing with Jackson and giving him one of his favorite biscuits!! Max kept me updated on how things were going so I didn’t worry. Great communication. I knew Jackson was in good hands. Max is very dependable and I am so grateful that I found him. He will definitely be coming back to watch Jackson!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since i was 6. 2 Family dogs till they passed along with our first cat. We now have 2 more and another cat. I'm currently working but done by 4-5 so my nights and weekends are free for walks or just some fun. weekends im free all day I would make sure the pet is comfortable in their home and give them all the attention they need and of course if theres any notes go over all notes
“Nadine is the best! This is our second time having her look after our two senior dachshunds (come January, they’ll be 15 and 17) and our 22 year old conure. All three were remembered her from her previous stint caring for them, and they were thrilled to see Nadine again. In addition to normal duties, Nadine went above and beyond by cleaning up and replacing pee pads used by my old man and by lifting him up and down the back stoop every time he went out. I will absolutely use Nadine again.”

About: I’ve had the joy of working with animals for over 10 years, and caring for them truly makes me happiest. I’ve worked as a dog groomer, gained hands-on experience in veterinary settings, and provided pet sitting and dog walking services for so many wonderful pets and their families. I’m comfortable with dogs, cats, reptiles, bunnies, and animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I absolutely love dogs, every breed, every quirk, every goofy smile and I genuinely love all animals with my whole heart. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away.

About: Hey there! I am new to sitting, but always willing to learn and gain experience :) Happy to take on any type of dog or cat (I have both). My cat is an escape artist, and my dog is insane. I can handle it all. I am free all summer for pet care! There is a short stretch of time in August where i will be away, but other than that, I am excited to meet new pet friends :) I am well versed in crating dogs, as well as keeping an eye on mischievous animals. I will follow any instructions given very carefully and ensure your pet is happy and healthy while you are away.
About: Experienced, compassionate caregiver. I currently provide in-home care services to seniors but I do have prior experience both animal and babysitting. The experience that I have has strengthened my patience, communication, and attention to detail — qualities that give not only your pet but you a piece of mind! As of right now I work a standard 9-5 on weekdays (M-F) and am off Saturdays and Sundays! Any time outside of those hours truly work for me but the agency that I work for is super flexible Creating and being in a safe and trusted environment is one of my top priorities. My basic care entails being responsible, patient but most importantly being attentive; tailoring to each and every animals’ needs

Lilian was an absolute joy to work with. My anxious staffy warmed up real quick and ended up having the least amount of stress ever while I was traveling. Lilian went above and beyond for my pup; reading stories, plenty of attention, and giving lots of love to make sure my pup was loved and cared for. Your furry friend will be in great hands!

I used Dillan yesterday for my 8 week old golden retriever puppy. I was very hestinant at first as an owner of two other dogs ages 11 & 4 I never used a sitter to help out with my dogs, however Dillan make the process so easy and help ease my nerves about having someone care for my dogs. He answered my messages on a timely manner and even shared pictures and a cute video of my pup Dunkin playing in the yard. I would highly recommend Dillan to care for your pets. He also followed the many rules and expectations that I’ve asked of him I Look forward to using him on a regular basis. Overall 10/10 service.
I had a wonderful experience with Julia caring for my dogs and cat while I was away. From the start, she was extremely punctual and professional. She even took the time to visit beforehand to learn exactly where everything was, like the food, water bowls, and cat litter showing how committed she was to making sure everything would be perfect. During her time with my pets, Julia stayed in great communication, sending me regular updates and the cutest photos that really put my mind at ease. It was clear she genuinely cared about my animals and took her responsibility seriously. I highly recommend Julia to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter. She truly went above and beyond!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
