We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a ranch-style home, we had dogs of many different breeds, sizes, and personalities, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve also had dogs of my own since I was around 14 and have cared for them through every stage of life, from playful younger years to their senior years. Because of that, I’m comfortable with different temperaments, routines, energy levels, and the extra patience older dogs may need. I truly enjoy being around dogs and would care for your pet with the same attention and affection I give my own. I work during the week, but I’m available before and after work, in the evenings, and on weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine for walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and safe, and I’m attentive to their individual routines, personalities, and needs. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos while they’re in my care.
