About: I am a lifelong dog lover and owner. Started at 7 years old with my own boxer; now my eldest is 6 with my own dog and house. Usually take care of family and friends’ dogs, excited to share my love of dogs and outdoors with the world ! Currently a stay at home dad for two lovely boys (aged 4 and 6). Also we have a 10 month old bernedoodle that we love so much. So typically we are up early and get them to school by 9am, then I am free until 3 pm when I have to pick the lads up from school. Cuddle puddles are my favorite pastime Evenings and weekends are preferred, can be flexible. I can do drop ins anytime past 6pm on the weekdays and anytime on the weekends. We continually owned 2 dogs up until 2016, when our beloved dog Brodie passed away after a wonderful 14 year life. My wife, Denise and I have been married for 41 years and do not have any plans to rescue another dog for the foreseeable future, but we greatly look forward to caring for other people's cherished pets in our loving home. We offer stability. We are in this home for over 40 years and have no plans to ever move, so we can watch your dog(s) for many years, right here at our version of dog paradise. We have no children, but have our 13 year old nephew and 14, 11 and 8 year old nieces, who love dogs, sleep over 1 to 2 nights per month. We both get a big kick out of the unique personality of each dog and look forward to accommodating every one of them as they were part of our family. We like having your dog near us and showing our affection to them with lots of supervised playtime and hugs"

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes since I was 10, starting with my own Great Dane! Since his passing, I’ve been taking care of neighbors’ and friends’ dogs with all their pet needs, such as walks, check ins, feeds, baths, house sitting, exercise, etc! Outside of dog care, I’m a medical student and enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my people! I am currently not working this summer and am very open in my availability. I look forward to dedicating most of my schedule to dog care! I have a 6 foot high fenced yard and no other animals in the home. I live on a very quiet street, and I am able to crate the dog as often as you need without hassle or worry!

From our very first meet-and-greet, they took the time to get to know Rocky and make sure he would be a good fit for their family and their two beautiful dogs. Matt showed us their yard and explained where Rocky would be safe to run around and play. He gave us a full rundown of everything and patiently answered all of our questions, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident leaving Rocky with them. We ended up booking a full week! Throughout Rocky’s stay, we received regular updates, pictures, videos, and text messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was so wonderful to see how happy and comfortable Rocky was. He got along great with their family dogs and even their super-cute daughter! You can truly tell that Matt & Kristina genuinely care about the dogs in their care and treat them like family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Matt & Kristina and will definitely be booking with them again in the future, especially when we need to travel out of the country. Upon meeting her I knew Toby was in good hands and could see that her home and yard was safe. She sent a pic of Toby before we asked and Toby was clearly having a good stay. “Gerald did a great job with my senior foster, Pam. She deals with significant anxiety and back-leg pain, so I was nervous about leaving her in a new space with a stranger, but I had nothing to worry about. She settled in quickly and even felt comfortable enough to trick Gerald into getting off the couch so she could steal his spot. Although she’s usually reluctant to be active, she went on several walks with him. Gerald was also great about sending regular photos and updates, and very flexible when I ran late for pickup. Highly recommended for anyone with a senior or high-needs dog.”
