About: I will treat your fur baby as my own. I have a beautiful large home with a super large fenced yard. No Cages. I also provide walks within our quiet tree lined neighborhood. I am home all day to provide playtime with your pet. I am new to listing on Rover, and have in the past only went by recommendation. I am home all day, work part time from my home office. I am fully attentive to your pet. I feature walks, playtime, yard play, and provide a caring, loving environment. I have a friendly Shih-Tzu, no kids in the house. About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a ranch-style home, we had dogs of many different breeds, sizes, and personalities, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve also had dogs of my own since I was around 14 and have cared for them through every stage of life, from playful younger years to their senior years. Because of that, I’m comfortable with different temperaments, routines, energy levels, and the extra patience older dogs may need. I truly enjoy being around dogs and would care for your pet with the same attention and affection I give my own. I work during the week, but I’m available before and after work, in the evenings, and on weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine for walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was ten years old, and I have seventeen years of hands-on experience as a dog owner and caregiver in my adulthood. Family, friends, and neighbors have also trusted me to care for their dogs. I have experience with puppies through senior dogs, including puppy training and reinforcing established routines. I am comfortable administering medications and caring for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, and I am CPR certified. My own dog was my baby and truly like a son to me. We spent seventeen years together before he recently passed away in April. He traveled with me, went everywhere with me, and was a huge part of my life. Being a devoted dog owner myself taught me how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care. I will treat your dog with the same love, patience, attention, and respect I gave my own. I work full-time during the week, so I am primarily available for boarding and daycare on weekends and holidays, when I can devote plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. If your dog is comfortable being home alone during my workday, weekday care may also be possible, and we can discuss your dog's individual routine and needs beforehand. When I am caring for your dog, I want their normal routine to remain as consistent as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications, bathroom breaks, and bedtime routines. I live in a quiet home with a securely fenced backyard where your dog can safely spend time outside. I will only host 3 small or 2 medium dogs at a time. Dogs are welcome on my couches and beds, and if your dog normally sleeps with you, they are welcome to sleep with me too. I want my home to feel like their home while they are staying with me. I believe you know your dog better than anyone, so I will follow your care instructions closely. That includes feeding schedules, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, training routines, house rules, and any special needs or preferences. Cortney provided excellent care to my husky during her overnight stay at his house. Ruth was super sweet, friendly and very playful. They spent a lot of time running around and playing in the backyard which was huge and very secure. Skye received lots of love and attention from their whole family. Jamie is absolutely amazing!! She was an excellent care taker for our dog.. making sure to keep his meds on schedule... getting him to eat on a schedule when he normally doesnt (he's a grazer!) and allowing him priority position with her on the couch during the few moments of rest they both had. I got a regular stream of photos and check ins about my dog and never had a doubt he was in great hands. The only doubt I had was whether my dog was going to want to come home.
