“Sabrina was amazing with both of my pups and they loved her. She is professional, trustworthy, and very loving with my dogs. I highly recommend her and will absolutely work with her again in the future. Thanks so much Sabrina!!!”

“Caroline was fantastic!!! Highly recommend her!!! She was very mindful of our doodle on their walk! Lots of pictures! She even let our 2nd much older dog (who can’t walk much) out while she was heading out as a just in case. We’re so thankful!”

About: I take pride in giving pets the best time they can have while their owners are away! I’ve always been an animal lover and will treat your pet as if they were my own. I can watch your dog and/or cat. love dog walking and have dog sat for plenty of neighbors, friends, and family over the years. Now that I’m on Rover, I’m loving making connections with new pets and their owners. A little more about me and my professional experience: I work at an animal shelter part time where I provide care mostly for kittens and cats and at a dog groomer where I love on all the pups and make them look their best! I am going to vet tech school as well to learn about the overall health of animals. Something fun: I can teach your pet tricks while I watch them! Right now, I am working part-time so I have lots of time to take care of your pet. Just let me know your schedule and I’ll get back to you. I will take the best care of your home and treat it as if it is my own. I leave places the same as or better than how I found them. I don’t mind cleaning up any pet messes.
About: I have had pets throughout my entire life. From dogs to cats to hamsters to turtles. I love to go on walks with my dog who is an 8-month-old Husky puppy. I also love to play with him, bring him to the park, and even go swimming with him. I also have a 1-year-old cat that I love to play with. I also do the feeding for both my dog and my cat so feeding your pet would not be an issue for me. I would love to help you with whatever you need whether it be dog sitting, dog walking, cat sitting, or even just a drop in to play with your pet. I have a pretty open schedule so feel free to reach out!
“Having Karen as our dog walker is such a relief. I never have to worry whether or not she's going to get to my house to walk Kailani. Karen is ultra professional super reliable. I recommend her highly.”

“Mona was amazing! She went above and beyond every day we used her services. For example, she communicated each day, sending a handful of photos of our dog, who she was hired to walk, but also taking the extra step to send photos of our cat who happened to greet her at the door as well. Another day while walking Murphy, she offered to move our car out of the driveway because the house next door was performing construction and she wanted to assure our car would be safe from the flying debris. Finally, on the last day of her walking job I had sent her a last-minute request, but she had already left the house. Regardless, she moved things around so she could come back in a couple hours to perform the request...even taking our pup out again, just to be safe. Mona is everything you look for in a dog walker. I'm so happy to have her nearby for the next time I need someone to walk our pup.”

“Karishma was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond for caring for my fur baby! She sent me multiple pictures and always checked in on how he was during her visit! I would highly recommend Karishma and will definitely be using her again.”

“Thank you for another great week! We so appreciate the thoughtful gift as well. Have a great weekend and we will be in touch as soon as we figure out our schedules. :)”

About: My dog is the most important thing to me. Therefore I know what it’s like to worry about whether my fur baby is in good hands. I will treat your baby just as I treat mine and will try to make their time away from you less stressful for both of you. You can be assured that they will be in good hands. Whether it’s for a walk or to take care of them for a couple days. I understand that all pets are different and they all have different needs. I will try to know as much as possible to provide the best service to you and your pet. I have a lot of personal experience with dogs in my own personal life and would love to share that experience with all :)

“Jenna and Julia have walked our dog Grimm for four months. Our experience has been entirely positive. Both walkers are so sweet to Grimm, and give him fresh water at the end of each walk. He is thrilled to see them when they arrive. 100% recommend.”

About: I'm an experienced and passionate animal lover who excels at caring for both dogs and cats. Whether it's keeping your pets active, comfortable, or simply offering companionship, I’m dedicated to providing the best care with a focus on safety and well-being. Neighbors and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and spend time with their furry friends. You can trust me to treat your pets like family! I’m currently working Full-time, but I can accommodate before and after work and weekends. Currently, Monday through Sunday after I am available for walking, drop-ins, and overnights When caring for pets in clients' homes, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I follow specific instructions for feeding, playtime, and any special needs. I ensure their environment stays clean, provide plenty of attention, and maintain a calm and familiar atmosphere to keep them relaxed. I can also communicate regularly with updates to give you peace of mind while you're away.
About: I have been around pets for as long as I can remember. As a child I was not allowed to have my own pets which made me really sad. To spend time with animals I would visit friends and family members frequently. I just adore them so much! I love all animals 🥰 Later when my mother got a dog I helped take care of him. He was the sweetest little boy. I also took close care of my best friends dog and cat every time she got too busy with work. They needed the attention and the love, that I love to give. I also have my own cat now 😍 When my partner and I were in Southeast Asia for about 6 months it broke our hearts to see so many stray animals. So daily we drove around with our scooter to feed them. It makes me happy to help where I can, even if it’s only feeding them. All animals have a consciousness and need love, affection, attention and care just like we humans do! I currently have a lot of time on my hands as I’ve just moved here from Germany. So I don’t know many people and I work from home or anywhere I have an internet connection. I have all the time to play and care for all the fur babies 😊 We have a fenced backyard which is ideal. My cat is mostly outside so he won’t be around much. If I sit at your house I will responsibly follow any rules and guidelines you give me.

Zoey was amazing and accepted our last minute dog walking request, which we truly appreciated! She was communicative, reliable, and took great care of Beaux during his walk. It was reassuring to know he was in such good hands on short notice. Thank you, Zoey, for your flexibility and kindness. We would absolutely book with you again in the future!

Sheri is great with my senior dog! She arrives on time and gives him a nice long walk. I know She is very patient with him as he has slowed down quite a bit. I’ve only had Sheri a walk my Gotti a couple of weeks but I feel very confident that he is in good hands with her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
