About: Growing up in Peru, I started to take care of dogs of every kind since I was 8 years old. I would always feed stray dogs, and whenever they saw me, they would run to me, and we would create memories together. At the age of 15, my mom brought me a beloved companion who is now 15 years old. I also share my heart with an adorable cat. Both mean the world to me. I've always felt that animals have beautiful souls full of emotions and should be treated with respect, love and compassion. Hence, my ultimate goals in life is to open an animal sanctuary to care for these intelligent creatures for the rest of my life. I am currently attending school full-time; however, I am available for any requested services except Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8am and 1pm. We can always work something out. I have a small fenced yard and one friendly, playful havanese who would love to have playdates with your fur baby. Im always vigilant about my surroundings to ensure the safety of my own fur babies, and I'm equally committed to safeguarding yours as if they were my own.

About: I have taken care of a variety of dog breeds and pets for years. I have been entrusted by neighbors, family, and friends to care for their pets specific needs and wants. No request is too big or small to provide for the joy returned to me whether it's my own fur babies or yours. As an educator I have alot felixability. I am currently free during the weekdays and weekends to board and care for your pet if needed. I have a fenced in backyard with my two dogs, Skittles and Pop-tart to keep your fur-baby company. I can easily crate your pet if you prefer in

“First time having someone walk our dog and Sandy was patient, professional and friendly with our skittish rescue. She knew just what to do so our pooch would calm down and trust her.”

About: Welcome to Dan's Bay Shore Boarding! I have owned and cared for Dogs for 39 years. My home is extremely well suited for caring for dogs. Our back yard is completed enclosed with a 5 to 6 foot fence in an area greater than 1/3rd of an acre. 90% of the fence is 6 feet tall. Why do many people choose Dan's over many other qualified Rover hosts? -We don't have plans to own our own dog, so yours always comes first. -My price is competitive based on the care and the service level. -I do this full time, so your dog is generally loved every waking moment of the day -Look at my reviews. They are of the highest quality and very numerous 254+ guests have rated my service as 5 Star in the last 48 months, I have never gotten less than a 5 Star Rating. -My home and yard are decadently perfect for your dog to have the time of her or his life. I invested over $20,000 on my fencing and gates. -I make your life easier, ...in addition to daily pictures and short movies to your smart phone, I do drop offs and pick-ups of not only the dog, but You if you need a lift to the airport, the ferry or whatever. I also offer complimentary car parking at my house, so you don't have to deal with the hassle and expense of airport parking. Upon your return, I can get you at the airport with a goodie bag for your morning coffee with muffins, milk, fruit and bottled water, so you are all set for your first morning back from vacation. -I have photo books of every dog that has boarded with me, so I can show you pictures of the dogs that will be staying at the same time as your dog booking. You will see how they interact with other dogs in a variety of pictures. 75%of my business is repeat bookings and I am proud of that! -Read how often my customers have commented on how impeccably clean my home and yard is kept. It obviously matters to people. I put in the time to make sure it stays that way during your dog's stay! - I also make your life easier by having a stock of non-toxic dog shampoo and an all natural food supplement (great for bone and joint health) that you can purchase when you return at great prices! - My wife, Denise coordinates the schedule and provides both the welcome package and the Thank You notes at the back end of your dog's stay. You have 24 hour access to our home and each of our mobile phones. - Denise and I have been in Customer Service Businesses for 35 years and we have very high standards of excellence. - Our yard is huge and private, part of a pine forest, but I enjoy taking dogs for walks around our quiet neighborhood as well, to provide the most stimulating stay for your beloved dog. - I have my yard treated to minimize the chance of ticks, fleas and mosquitos with a safe solution , applied by a trained professional with decades of experience. -When it snows, I never need to use salt to melt it, because I am here all the time to snow blow and shovel as often as necessary. Your dog will not be exposed to salt on his or her paws. -I also save my clients lots of money on 4 and 5 Star Vacation Villas. Brands like Marriott, Hyatt and Four Seasons to name just a few. I am a Timeshare Insider and I will always steer you away from 90 minute tours or ever buying one, with the deals that I have personally been getting for about 25 years now! I have been to dozens of tropical islands, dozens of countries and about 40 of the States and I offer lots of free money saving advice. -From time to time, we have less demand. When I see that, I will reach out to existing clients and offer them special discounts on these occasions! I know my regular pricing is competitive but I am willing to propose a win/win package that will get your dog(s) back on vacation at a price I can live with on a limited / preferred client basis! These savings are commonly 25% or more off for the same great service ! -I am available to help others start a Rover business of their own. I have run several businesses, have 39 years experience, not only selling, but am certified to teach sales from prestigious Training Companies such as Miller Heiman, Cahners TRACOM, and Achieve Global. I have been selling out regularly and know exactly how to help someone else kiss corporate America goodbye in a field that they were born to thrive in from home! Now you have a good sense of why you may want to choose Dan's ! I have rescued and owned a variety of dog breeds that range from English Bulldogs, Beagles, Terriers and mixed breeds. I have house broken several puppies and have also lovingly cared for older dogs needing daily medication. (an additional nightly charge may apply based on the level of care your dog needs) My home is comfortable year round, as we have central air conditioning. We continually owned 2 dogs up until 2016, when our beloved dog Brodie passed away after a wonderful 14 year life. My wife, Denise and I have been married for 35 years and do not have any plans to rescue another dog for the foreseeable future, but we greatly look forward to caring for other people's cherished pets in our loving home. We offer stability. We are in this home for over 34 years and have no plans to ever move, so we can watch your dog(s) for many years, right here at our version of dog paradise. We have no children, but have our 7 year old nephew and 5 and 3 year old nieces, who love dogs, sleep over 3 to 5 nights per month. We both get a big kick out of the unique personality of each dog and look forward to accommodating every one of them as they were part of our family. We like having your dog near us and showing our affection to them with lots of supervised playtime and hugs"

About: I took care of my first family dog from when she was a puppy until she passed away from old age at 15 years old. I’ve also taken care of other family members elderly dogs and walked them before. I work from home so I have flexible availability in my day and can walk dogs throughout the day while their parents are at work. I have a 7-year-old cat, Rye, and a 1-year-old puppy, Whiskey. Rye stays engaged with plenty of toys, a moving water bowl, and an automatic feeder and litter box. I make sure he eats healthy food, stays well-groomed, and gets plenty of love. Whiskey gets the same level of care—proper nutrition, exercise, training, and affection—to keep him happy and healthy.

7. joseline f.
“I have had the privilege of knowing Joseline for about seven to eight years, and during this time, I have come to deeply admire her remarkable dedication to her pets. Joseline doesn’t just treat her pets as animals under her care—she treats them as beloved members of her family. To her, they are her children, and she embraces this responsibility with unwavering commitment and love. Joseline has always made it a priority to provide her pets with the utmost care and attention, ensuring they are not only healthy but also genuinely happy. She has a unique ability to understand and respond to each of their individual needs, whether it’s through regular walks and playtime for her dogs, creating enriching activities for her cats, or maintaining the specific care routines required for her more exotic pets. She doesn’t view this as a burden but rather as a joyful and fulfilling part of her daily life. Her household is a testament to her exceptional capability as a caregiver. She has two dogs, two cats, two parakeets, a bearded dragon, and a turtle—all of whom thrive under her attentive care. Managing such a diverse group of animals requires patience, organization, and an incredible depth of knowledge about their unique requirements. Joseline consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that each of them is living their best life, from feeding and grooming to creating a warm and loving environment for them to flourish. It’s this dedication and passion that make Joseline uniquely qualified to care for another person’s pet when needed. Her experience extends far beyond basic pet care; she treats every animal with respect, compassion, and a deep understanding of what they need to feel secure and loved. Anyone entrusting their pet to Joseline can do so with full confidence that their beloved companion will receive the same level of exceptional care she provides to her own. In a world where not everyone understands the emotional and physical needs of animals, Joseline stands out as a rare gem. Her ability to connect with and care for animals is truly inspiring, and it’s clear that her love for them is genuine and unwavering.”

9. Daniel S.

“Dan (and Denise) are about as big hearted as you can get. They have watched over my Vizlsa multiple times and while it pains me to say, my little girl looks at me with those eyes when I come to pick her up as if to say.., "cmon dad, do we have to leave?" She clearly loves it there, and if you know Vs, they can be quite energetic! Walks are abundant, but the big expansive fenced in back yard is the selling point. We live in Brooklyn so off leash opportunities are far and few in between...so going to uncle Dan's is a treat. My V is sensitive when it comes to food allergies and Dan understands that, she is always well fed never shows signs of being fed table scraps. The enjoyment is mutual which is important. It is more of a temporary adoption as than a dog vacay,..as my V instantly becomes part of their family. They are loving and patient and it shows. I fully endorse Dan to be your four legged host. You won't regret it.”

10. Kathi M.
“Kathi has helped me with dog sitting and walking on many occasions. She is a very caring and loving pet owner, and takes care of each dog as if they were her own. My older dog is blind so its a little difficult to take her on walks, however RJ does a great job with her in making sure she is happy and enjoys here back yard strolls.”

18. Lindsay G.
“Lindsay has helped me care for my dogs over the last ten years. She always helps me if my family needs a weekend getaway or even a vacation. We always let her know ahead of time and she helps accommodate our pets needs. She has been there for us through two litters of puppies, some unfortunate pet illnesses and obviously for all the fun and playful moments. She is very good about follow ups and making sure our pets get exactly what they need. Right now we have a pet who needs eye medication and she comes by daily to make sure he is comfortable and gets what he needs. I have nothing but praise for the way in which she has handled our pets who absolutely adore her. She created a special bond with our two dogs and she is very loving to all animals.”
