“Jada was the best. She came every day on time to take out bully. She was responsible and kept me informed if anything was wrong with bully. She was sweet and caring to bully. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely use her again in the future.”

About: What sets me apart is my professional experience as a dog trainer specializing in behavior modification and working with challenging dogs, including reactive, fearful, and aggressive cases. I understand canine body language, behavior, and communication, allowing me to safely manage situations that many sitters may not be comfortable handling. I provide a structured, calm environment with clear boundaries, enrichment, and individualized care tailored to each dog’s needs. Whether caring for puppies, adult dogs, or seniors, my focus is on building confidence, reinforcing good behavior, and ensuring every dog feels safe, secure, and understood while in my care. Pet care is my full-time career. As a professional dog trainer and pet sitter, caring for dogs is a daily part of my routine. I work closely with both pets and their owners to provide training, exercise, structure, and companionship. My goal is to help create happier, well-balanced dogs while making life easier and more enjoyable for their families. I prioritize safety, structure, and trust in every interaction. I follow each pet’s routine, provide appropriate exercise and enrichment, maintain a secure environment, and communicate regularly with owners. As a professional dog trainer and sitter, I focus on creating a positive experience that keeps pets happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Ericka has been amazing with our dog Lila! She jumped in last minute to help out when our other walker was away and has been so warm and great to Lila. Thank you Ericka! You’re the best!”

About: I enjoy cats and dogs as I have had my own, currently pet sit for my roommates cats while she’s on vacation. Cuddle puddles are my favorite pastime Evenings and weekends are preferred, can be flexible. I can do drop ins anytime past 6pm on the weekdays and anytime on the weekends. Emergency calls can also be arranged. I care for pets by slowly introducing myself, first by smell then when comfortable, by touch. I give treats when warranted, but ensure no over feeding/snacking. Lastly I cuddle with pets who are most comfortable.
“Andrea was punctual, kind, responsible, communicative, and lovely! She took such great care of our dog! Walked, played with, fed, gave treats! Sent photos, videos and texts. Very dependable and responsible. Highly recommend. Would re-hire without a doubt!”

About: I've cared primarily for dogs for over 25 years, frequently serving as the go-to walker and sitter for friends and family for the past decade. For the past 3 years, I've also cared for rabbits, and I have done drop-ins and overnight stays for multi-cat homes. I'm experienced and comfortable with administering oral medications and topical treatments for cooperative pets. I'm local to Babylon and available for drop-ins and walks nearby. I keep a flexible schedule and can visit at just about any time of day, seven days a week, including mid-day when most dogs need a break. I care for my own rabbit every morning and evening, so pet care is already built into my daily routine. I currently offer drop-in visits and dog walking. I follow each owner's house rules closely, including which rooms pets are allowed in, which pets can be together and which need to stay separate, and any feeding or medication routines. Dogs stay leashed any time we're outside a designated play area, and I check that doors, gates, and enclosures are secure before I leave.

About: Hey im matt, and Ive lived with animals since i could remember always having a house full of 4 cats and 4 dogs at once! I know the behavior and ins and outs of any dog or cat so i can quickly be able to adapt to their emotions and behavior to make them feel safer and happier. Your furbabies will be treated to the highest standard as i do my own animals :) i have left previous jobs due to the lack of care of certain animals and environment conditions they were in due to the lack of control i had of the situation, i even have saved 15+ lost dogs and returned them home and saved them from car accidents during my daily drives working my delivery job. i would literally stop on a dime and ditch my vehicle and stop mid delivery just to go save multiple dogs lost and in danger so hopefully that gives you an idea of the type of care i would take for your own. I have a flexible part time job where i make my schedule so anytime is good for me usually to where i can pop in with no rush or stress and take care what you need done :) Follow and listen to all instructions word for word starting from how to enter the home to how to greet your pet to how to leave and say bye to ur pet if a certain manner is needed. i can adapt to any environment or condition to make sure your pet is safe and sound under your instructions :)

“My puppy loves being walked by Mona. She treats her like she was her own dog. Mona is always responsive to my texts. Love getting the photos & updates. I would highly recommend her.”

I myself am a dog-owner, I have had my soul dog, for fifteen years up until we had to say our goodbyes and he departed to the rainbow bridge but still my love for dogs continues to grow immensely! I have a new friend at home, his name is Kylo! But, I hope you will allow me to spend some time with your four-legged friend or friends even. Thanks! :) I am currently off-season with my teaching job with plenty of morning/afternoon/evening time to dog-sit and drop-in on your lovely pet! Walks too! I invested over $20,000 on my fencing and gates. -I make your life easier, ...in addition to daily pictures and short movies to your smart phone, I do drop offs and pick-ups of not only the dog, but You if you need a lift to the airport, the ferry or whatever. I also offer complimentary car parking at my house, so you don't have to deal with the hassle and expense of airport parking. Upon your return, I can get you at the airport with a goodie bag for your morning coffee with muffins, milk, fruit and bottled water, so you are all set for your first morning back from vacation. -I have photo books of every dog that has boarded with me, so I can show you pictures of the dogs that will be staying at the same time as your dog booking. It obviously matters to people. You have 24 hour access to our home and each of our mobile phones. - Denise and I have been in Customer Service Businesses for 35 years and we have very high standards of excellence. - Our yard is huge and private, part of a pine forest, but I enjoy taking dogs for walks around our quiet neighborhood as well, to provide the most stimulating stay for your beloved dog. - I have my yard treated to minimize the chance of ticks, fleas and mosquitos with a safe solution , applied by a trained professional with decades of experience. -When it snows, I never need to use salt to melt it, because I am here all the time to snow blow and shovel as often as necessary. Your dog will not be exposed to salt on his or her paws. -I also save my clients lots of money on 4 and 5 Star Vacation Villas. Brands like Marriott, Hyatt and Four Seasons to name just a few. I am a Timeshare Insider and I will always steer you away from 90 minute tours or ever buying one, with the deals that I have personally been getting for about 25 years now! I have been to dozens of tropical islands, dozens of countries and about 40 of the States and I offer lots of free money saving advice. -From time to time, we have less demand. When I see that, I will reach out to existing clients and offer them special discounts on these occasions! I know my regular pricing is competitive but I am willing to propose a win/win package that will get your dog(s) back on vacation at a price I can live with on a limited / preferred client basis! These savings are commonly 25% or more off for the same great service ! -I am available to help others start a Rover business of their own. I have run several businesses, have 39 years experience, not only selling, but am certified to teach sales from prestigious Training Companies such as Miller Heiman, Cahners TRACOM, and Achieve Global. I have been selling out regularly and know exactly how to help someone else kiss corporate America goodbye in a field that they were born to thrive in from home! Now you have a good sense of why you may want to choose Dan's ! I have rescued and owned a variety of dog breeds that range from English Bulldogs, Beagles, Terriers and mixed breeds. I have house broken several puppies and have also lovingly cared for older dogs needing daily medication. (an additional nightly charge may apply based on the level of care your dog needs) My home is comfortable year round, as we have central air conditioning. We continually owned 2 dogs up until 2016, when our beloved dog Brodie passed away after a wonderful 14 year life. My wife, Denise and I have been married for 41 years and do not have any plans to rescue another dog for the foreseeable future, but we greatly look forward to caring for other people's cherished pets in our loving home. We offer stability. We are in this home for over 40 years and have no plans to ever move, so we can watch your dog(s) for many years, right here at our version of dog paradise. We have no children, but have our 13 year old nephew and 14, 11 and 8 year old nieces, who love dogs, sleep over 1 to 2 nights per month. We both get a big kick out of the unique personality of each dog and look forward to accommodating every one of them as they were part of our family. We like having your dog near us and showing our affection to them with lots of supervised playtime and hugs"

“We needed someone to let out and walk Molly, our 35 lb lab mix, while we were away for a weekend. Molly's a bit nervous and didn't do well when we left her at a dog kennel previously. Felicia made us feel comfortable right away, and Molly was smitten too. I would highly recommend Felicia to anyone looking for a special someone to take care of their pets.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
