Marc T.

“Marc is exceptional with my Thor. He is always prompt and informative about my baby's behavior and digestive issues that may occur during their daily walks. Most importantly, my elderly in-laws love him too. His bromance with my Thor is adorable to witness. I am lucky to have selected him as Thor’s new friend.”

Orena W.

“Orena is always On - Time. She is very good with handling my dog. She always takes my dog on a full 30 minute walk for over a mile. I would greatly recommend her.”

Nick T.
“Your pet deserves the best and that's what you get with Nick. He is responsible, trustworthy, kind-hearted and has that special touch we animal lovers know is so important. Nick has taken such good care of my dogs over the years - they LOVE him! - and there's never been a problem. Gives me peace of mind knowing Nick is there for them when I can't be. I always come home to happy, well-taken-care-of pups.”

About: I’ve been taking care of various pets and breeds since I was a child. Animals are my entire world next to the music scene so I really treat every single one like they are my own. I attract animals because I firmly believe I have a welcoming personality. I take care of my friends pets whenever they are away on vacation and took care of Misfit and Mocha since they were 12 weeks old constantly training, playing and putting them to sleep. Buddy being much older I usually am extra gentle with bringing the treats to him and getting him as much exercise that he can handle in a day to keep him happy. I bathe and trim all of my pets since it is something I’m very patient with and find joy in doing. I love their different personalities and sizes and seeing how each one has a schedule just like us humans! I’d rather be surrounded by fur babies over people any day of the week! I work at a music venue so my days are sporadic. However I mainly have a lot of free time especially during the winter months since artists usually don’t like to travel in cold weather. Weekends are a little harder for me but sometimes I’m available if there are comedy shows and I can give my schedule at least a month in advance to let you decide which days and times work best for you! I have a fully 9 foot fenced yard (since Mocha is a jumper) and am very attentive to my pets when I’m home. I have an entire schedule for each one that I write down and make sure they are all loved equally. When I have downtime I’ll usually cuddle up with them on the couch and put on a show or movie they like (we’ve got some huge horror and sitcom fans in this house!). Also whenever my friends are away and I’m not working I come over to take care of their pets and give them my undivided attention and walk them if and when need be. I also take care of strays on the block including some possums and foxes!

About: I've had dogs my entire life. I've grown up around Australian cattle dogs and have had at least one in my family since I was born, but we've since expanded to welcome our Pinscher/chihuahua mix and a one-eyed Shih Tzu named Maddie. My mother is a licensed veterinary technician, which means I've always had pets as well as a number of foster animals and special-needs cases. I am comfortable with all types of dogs, from big to small, and I know that each dog is special with his or her own personality. I like to take easy-paced, relaxing walks designed for exercise and endurance which your dog will certainly enjoy! I also have experience pet-sitting. After my last job, I was grateful to hear the words, "I know I can relax when I leave my dogs with you. I know they will be taken care of." I work full time, but working from home gives me flexibility. I have plenty of weekend availability. I can drive to most Nassau and Suffolk locations. I care for pets exclusively in their own homes. I think this is the most comfortable for pets. I understand it can be hard to let a stranger into your home, but I will keep your place clean and respect your belongings. Whatever your pet’s preferences, I can meet them!

Madison P.
“Madison is a great sitter, she is exceptionally tidy and keeps everything clean and is the greatest pet lover I’ve met. She does a lot to make sure the dogs are happy and gives off that same energy. She is a natural with animals and I’ve never seen anyone do better with my dogs than her.”

About: Heya! It's nice to meet you. My name is Juli & I'd love to help with your dog the next time you're out of town, have to go to work or even if you need a break from the routine of being a pet parent! (Trust me, no judgement here. We've all been there!) About Me I currently work full time from home. I've found that the typical 9-5 and working for someone else wasn't fufilling what I needed as a gig. I decided to join Rover because I've been an animal lover my entire life. I've had multiple pets ever since I was young. Small dogs, big dogs, cats and everything inbetween! I am currently 23 years old and I live in a cute, warm & cozy 1 bedroom apartment. I prefer the company of animals than to of humans so outside of when I'm at school, I'm home all the time! This means I have all the time in the world available to take care of your pets & give them all the attention they love. I go to the gym anywhere from 2-5 times a week meaning I'm very active & I'll not only be able to take your dogs on walks but also keep up with them as well. I'm not afraid of a little rain either so as long as it's not a torrential down pour or thunder/lightning (as mine + your pets safety is my #1 priority) & if they don't mind water, I have no issues walking them during the rain as well. When I am in the home with them, I have a handful of toys that I bring with me so we won't be bored during our time together. My goal at the end of the day is to give you the confidence that your animals are in good hands with me & leaving your pets happy + content when you come home! About My Services I offer: - House sitting @ $35/night - Drop In Visits @ $25/visit - Dog Walking @ $20/walk I am comfortable caring for animals that are: Small (1-15 lbs), Medium (15-41 lbs), Large (41-100 lbs) & giant (100+ lbs). I've had small & medium dogs throughout my life but have also had experiences with mini + giant dogs. My Schedule Majority of the time, I am 100% FREE! Unless I am sleeping or in class at school, I am quick to respond with booking inquiries. I do require 2-3 days for certain services but I am always available to work something out should you have an emergency situation so don't hesitate to ask! 🐾 Safety & Trust 🐾 When caring for your dog, I will text you to let you know once I have arrived & once again when I am leaving. I will provide updates throughout my time with your dog - including pictures, bathroom break updates, any questions/concerns I may have, etc.

“James is so patient and loving when it comes to my 86lb German Shepard, Layla! I truly feel like he is a dog whisperer! Layla loves when James comes over to play with her.”

About: I’ve assisted my mom during her Rover experience for two years, I’ve rescued and TNR’d neighborhood street cats for two years, and I have a 7 year old and a 5 year old dog. I’m a full-time college student going to school Monday and Wednesday, the other five days of the week I’m home taking care of my own dogs, in which I’m responsible for providing medication for my dogs, feeding them, bathing them, and walking them. I currently am not offering to Pet Sit in my own home as my dogs struggle to connect and be friendly with animals they do not know, but when watching other peoples dogs I take the same precautions as I would with my own dogs as you can never guarantee their behavior and how they respond to situations or other people. I would ensure the environment is safe, and if we go out into the community, I would be aware of my surroundings and take every precaution as if they were my own.
