“My cat Blackie is a Ferrel cat that was found in the woods near our home. Needless to say, he has some issues and was very difficult to socialize. I don't feel comfortable leaving him with just anyone. Erika has proven to be very gentle and kind with Blackie. He lets her sit with him, pet him and brush his hair. She has also gone over and above with Blackie, in one instance when my husband and I had a cruise planned, Blackie decided to disappear outside. Instead of not showing up, Erika still came over during her regularly scheduled hours to look for him and about 3-4 days into the cruise she did find him, and he came in for her which was a big relief for me. I also feel that she is trustworthy and do not worry when she is in my home. In summary, I would highly recommend her and believe she is very good at her job.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes since I was 10, starting with my own Great Dane! Since his passing, I’ve been taking care of neighbors’ and friends’ dogs with all their pet needs, such as walks, check ins, feeds, baths, house sitting, exercise, etc! Outside of dog care, I’m a medical student and enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my people! I am currently not working this summer and am very open in my availability. I look forward to dedicating most of my schedule to dog care! I have a 6 foot high fenced yard and no other animals in the home. I live on a very quiet street, and I am able to crate the dog as often as you need without hassle or worry!
About: I enjoy cats and dogs as I have had my own, currently pet sit for my roommates cats while she’s on vacation. Cuddle puddles are my favorite pastime Evenings and weekends are preferred, can be flexible. I can do drop ins anytime past 6pm on the weekdays and anytime on the weekends. Emergency calls can also be arranged. I care for pets by slowly introducing myself, first by smell then when comfortable, by touch. I give treats when warranted, but ensure no over feeding/snacking. Lastly I cuddle with pets who are most comfortable.
About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life! When I was 10 I had a puppy and have volunteered at animal shelters throughout high school. I can assure you I will take great care of your animals with all the love in my heart. I’m currently working part time, so I have a lot of time this summer! Typically, I work Tuesdays from 11am-4pm and the evening/night of weekends. My availability varies depending on my weekly schedule. I’m definitely a fan of walks and playtime! I’ll make sure the clients house is clean before they return and that their pet has a blast!

“Gerald did a great job with my senior foster, Pam. She deals with significant anxiety and back-leg pain, so I was nervous about leaving her in a new space with a stranger, but I had nothing to worry about. She settled in quickly and even felt comfortable enough to trick Gerald into getting off the couch so she could steal his spot. Although she’s usually reluctant to be active, she went on several walks with him. Gerald was also great about sending regular photos and updates, and very flexible when I ran late for pickup. Highly recommended for anyone with a senior or high-needs dog.”

From our very first meet-and-greet, they took the time to get to know Rocky and make sure he would be a good fit for their family and their two beautiful dogs. Matt showed us their yard and explained where Rocky would be safe to run around and play. He gave us a full rundown of everything and patiently answered all of our questions, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident leaving Rocky with them. We ended up booking a full week! Throughout Rocky’s stay, we received regular updates, pictures, videos, and text messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was so wonderful to see how happy and comfortable Rocky was. He got along great with their family dogs and even their super-cute daughter!
