Now, 51 years later, through every chapter of my life, milestones, joys, and losses, there has always been a pet by my side. This works particularly well for pets that are used to a routine. My pets include a Labrador Retriever named "Jax" who is 6 years old. Jax likes to run about in our fenced yard.
