About: I grew up with golden retrievers my whole life, and now have a spunky German shepherd mix added into our family. I am a highly trained veterinary receptionist of going on 5 years with extreme background knowledge of veterinary medicine. Will be able to tell beginning signs if your pet is unwell in my care. I work full-time as a veterinary receptionist but have three days off during the week as I work a long shifts. Fridays, I am off early at 3pm! I can administer all types of medication quickly and comfortably. I am extremely knowledgeable in the safety and importance of sanitation of pet waste and food/water dishes. About: Dogs, cats and helping people all make me happy. I’ve lived with at least one dog since I was 4 years old after adopting our first family dog from the north shore animal league. I’ve had 3 years of fostering experience for the queens ASPCA where my aunt volunteered. I rehabbed overweight dogs and sick dogs into shape and health to be adopted to their forever homes. We had 2 foster failures our bond was so strong we had to keep. I currently have 3 dogs and one cat all rescues. I always form an immediate bond with any pet I meet and promise to take care of your pet like they are my own. I am gladly available weekdays both mornings and afternoons as well as anytime needed on the weekends and/or holidays. About: I have experience in overnight dog sitting around my neighborhood. Multiple people have relied on me to walk, feed, and stay overnight with their animals. I currently quitting my full time job therefore my schedule is very flexible and open. With being unemployed I am prioritizing this as my main job at the moment! I will let them out/walk them in the morning and feed them. Depending on the dog, I usually let them out every 4-5 hours. Depending on the instructions from the owner, I would go by that according for any other care.

My cat always has full reign on the house and my dog has a private bedroom with crate for when I leave. A nice sized fenced in private back yard great makes for a good playtime or potty break.

About: Certified vet assistant and experienced kennel worker. My first job with dogs was at a fun little daycamp/boarding place called Camp Bow-Wow. I gained a lot of experience in handling and training. The enviroment I worked in was often filled with dogs running around a huge play yard, and it was my job to keep the peace (making sure they don’t fight, hump, or eat poop). During my time there I attended vet assistance courses at Bosces and earned a certification. I worked at an animal hospital in Oyster Bay, then in Woodbury. I’ll soon be leaving my current job (sanitation) to come back into the pet care business, which I enjoy far more. My schedule will open up tremendously by the 20th, until then I am readily available for afternoons. Im also good with cats, as long as they’re friendly!

About: Ive had experience with all types of animals, dogs, cats, furry ones, even reptiles. Ive house sat, and dog sat for friends when they go away for the past few years. I can also take care of reptiles, cats, and small furry animals. I understand having animals, and going away can be stressful with finding someone who you trust with your loved pets. I will care for them as if they’re my own. I have a full time career in Law Enforcement but i live with my brother who would be able to let the pup out if godforbid an emergency on my end happens. I have a rotating schedule so my schedule is definitely flexible. Most of the time my days off fall on weekdays. I also have 3 day weekends where i am home most of the time. I work 6am to 2pm 5 days a week, then I am off for 2 days then my schedule flips to 2pm to 10pm 5 days a week with 3 days off. I am also able to drop in while working atleast once in the middle of the day. So your pup wouldn’t have to wait 8 hours to go outside. I have a decent sized fenced in yard, and also have 2 pups at home who are all friendly, trained, and crate trained if your pup wants alone time. I also live in a part of the house that allows your dog to roam freely without any other animals around.
