Welcome to The Meadows! I am a mom to 2 daughters ages 17 & 12 and 2 cats (my cats do not come in contact with the dogs in my care so no worries if your dog is not cat friendly). We are a family who loves all animals and dogs are at the top of the list! When our beloved dog Dewey passed away I wanted to do something to help care for other dogs. I decided to offer a home away from home for family pets so that their time away from their family would enjoyable and fun. As a result The Meadows was formed. Growing up my mother had the same affection for animals as I do now. I have had 16 dogs throughout my childhood! Not all at once. ;) We also had cats, rabbits, birds, goats & horses! My home is crate-free and our doggy guests have several couches, dog beds and TVs as well. Your pet will have access to their very own "dog park" with over 2 fully fenced acres for your dog(s) to run and play in all day. We have a large home and as a result we can accommodate all dogs, large and small so if you have multiple dogs they can all enjoy the amenities we have to share at The Meadows. I encourage all potential new guests to visit us first so that you have complete confidence that your pet will be in the best of care. We have 100% positive reviews and references available upon request. Discounts are offered for multi-pet families. We also offer extended stay (2+ weeks) and doggy daycare. Doggy Daycare is a great way for your dog to play and get their energy out so you can relax after a long day. I also always have puppies and provide for puppy socialization as part of their stay. About my yard: I have over 2 flat acres, fully fenced in around the perimeter, for our doggy guests to run and play in all day. My experience administering medication Yes, I can administer all forms of medication including injections, i.e. diabetes etc.

Snowy doesn’t even look back when I drop her off at Loraine’s! She’s so excited to see the family. They treat her as one of their own. Best care I could ever hope for!!!
First timers to Rover and had to leave our 1 year old golden doodle. Met with 4 potential people and thankfully Loraine was the last one. We immediately knew having met her and her husband that we’d be comfortable leaving our little one. Loraine and her family are the best and her set up is beyond fantastic for the dogs! Our pup had a blast socializing and running free and playing! Loraine was communicative, patient, reassuring and just kind! Peace of mind is everything when leaving a pet and Loraine, her husband, and her family Gabe is that and more! Our dog loves it so much we will not only use Loraine again for overnights, but will use her for those long days at work so our pup can ha e some more fun! Thank you!!
Our dog had a fantastic stay at Loraine's! Her yard is huge and wonderful, great dog room, very communicative, all around great experience! Her and her family clearly love dogs. She will be our go-to for boarding and sitting when we're in the area!

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks There is no need for dog walks since our guests have full access to our large fenced in yard. I always have dogs so there is always someone to play with. For the not so active dogs they enjoy cruising and exploring the property, its an adventure for all. Time I'll spend with your dog: I am a stay-at-home mom so I am able to play & attend to our doggy guests all day. In addition, my daughters love to help out so your pet will most definitely get lots of love and attention.
