My miracle cat wants a playmate
I’ve had the joy of caring for three cats over the years, but my current feline companion has a story unlike any other. I adopted him in China during the height of the COVID pandemic—he was just a tiny, sick kitten diagnosed with feline coronavirus. Vets warned me he had little chance of survival. But I refused to give up. Through daily vet visits and round-the-clock medication, he pulled through. Today, he’s a living testament to resilience. While he occasionally sneezes or coughs due to lingering effects, recent tests confirm he’s in perfect health—playful, affectionate, and super friendly to all humans/cats/dogs.

As any other pet parent I was nervous to leave my cat Winnie with anyone. Then I came across Rover and found Ava!! We had a meet and greet with Ava and I was sure that she’s going to be great for Winnie. I got daily updates with pictures which was the reassurance my kids looked forward to every day. Ava was wonderful and took good care of Winnie. Ava’s cat Mimi was a plus, who kept Winnie company. I would highly recommend Ava for any pet parent.
Ava was simply amazing! This was the first time I left my boy alone, and Ava made it as painless as possible with tons of updates and photos of my baby. My boy couldn’t have been in better hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Luca with Ava and her family in the future!!

I left my cat with Ava for 2 weeks while I was on vacation. She did a great job making sure he was comfortable and provided me with daily updates on how we was doing. Will definitely be returning to Ava the next time I am on holiday.
Ava is caring and attentive to the unique needs of each animal. She will give animals the space they need, or the attention they desired. She provided around the clock care for Mimi when he was extremely sick. She loves playing games with animals, and making sure they are comfortable.

Schedule
I work on a hybrid schedule, which means I’m home 2–3 days a week and work remotely during those days. This gives me a consistent rhythm for hands-on pet care and companionship. On my home days, I’m available for feeding, playtime, administering any medications, and keeping a close eye on behavior or health changes. My cat is used to this pattern and thrives on the structure. Even on office days, I plan ahead to ensure his needs are met—whether it’s scheduling visits, prepping meals, or arranging backup care if needed.

My spacious, hardwood-floored basement is fully furnished and thoughtfully designed with feline fun in mind. It’s a cozy haven filled with toys, hideouts, and multi-level cat condos—perfect for climbing, lounging, and play. There’s plenty of room for zoomies, quiet naps, and interactive games. I maintain a consistent care routine that includes feeding, litter scooping, and dedicated play sessions to keep my cat mentally stimulated and emotionally connected. Whether it’s feather wands, treat puzzles, or cuddle time, I make sure every moment is enriching and safe.
Pets
A typical day
I use the fishing rod toy to entice their hunt and prey instinct. Lots of fun! My cat will also wait patiently until your cat is comfortable and confident to play with us.
