About: I am a lover of all animals and currently own an 8 year old border collie named Athena. She is very playful and kind. We live in a nice complex in Sunnyvale with plenty of space for dog walks and sniffing through the grass. We also have a fenced-in dog park area in our complex, along with a large park that also has a large dog park across the street where we like to take walks. Your pup will be well taken care of while you are away. I currently work at home 5 days a week and am not available Wednesdays and Thursdays unless on special occasion. I have lots of time to spend with your pup to play and walk them several times a day. I live in a spacious apartment with my wife with 2 bedrooms. Dogs will be able to roam around as they please and sit on any furniture as well as our outside balcony to get some sunshine.

“Travis has started walking our 2.5 year old husky mix Apollo twice a week and we will be using Travis for future care as well when we are out of town. Apollo loves him and we get pictures of their walks. Travis is always respectful of my home and really prioritizes my fur baby. He is always on time if not early and excellent at communicating if he has questions or needs anything. I fully trust him with our baby and am so thankful he is here to help us out!”

“My pups really enjoy their daily walks with David. They look out for him and know every afternoon at about 4 he will be there to walk them. Takes really good care of them and is reliable. Couldn’t be happier.”

“Anna did an amazing job walking our dog, Maxey! She was very attentive and caring during their hour-long walk, she also engaged his mind with training and praise/treats, making it a fun and beneficial experience for him. Maxey came back happy and well-exercised, and we appreciate the extra effort she put into his walk. We highly recommend Anna and will definitely be booking her again!”

About: My Havanese-Poodle mix, Charlie, died in August of '22 and instead of getting another pooch of my own, I decided to try out becoming a sitter on Rover! It has been fabulous! Definitely one of my best career decisions. :) I know and *love* the ins and outs of caring for pets--have cared for them since I was a small child. As a youth, in addition to caring for cats and dogs, we also had guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, turtles, fish, frogs, lizards, and snakes. Toward the end of his life, my dog Charlie had been diagnosed with several mild but chronic health issues that I helped ease every day and night. Also, shortly before my elderly cat died (RIP 12/2021) he required injections of saline solution on a weekly basis for two months. It would be my honor to care for your fur baby(ies). My ultimate goals would be to make them feel right at home and if possible, win their affection! Thank you. As long as I can get my sports/workouts done several days per week (usually in the mornings for a couple hours), I am good go to and free to watch your fur baby(ies) the rest of the day and night (and to my heart's delight). I enjoy staying home whenever I'm able. I enjoy a very clean home. Also, my couch cushions and pillow cases are washable so they're also regularly laundered. Your dog can sleep on my bed if necessary as long you bathe him or her just prior to dropping off. If OK, my back door that leads to the fenced yard can be propped open during the day when I'm not present so your pet(s) can go in and out at will. If you prefer I can lock him/her in when I'm away.

About: I’ve been rescuing, caring for, and rehoming reptiles, cats, and dogs since I was 18. I’m always that person who stops to help, whether it’s catching an injured stray cat or lassoing a lost dog to reunite them with their family. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from lizards, turtles, snakes, and betta fish to dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments including kittens, puppies, seniors, and even geriatric pets. I have hands-on experience with pets who have medical needs, including administering pills, ointments, eye/ear drops, and injections, and helping with physical therapy. My own dog has lifelong osteo issues, so I understand how to be gentle and patient with special needs pets. I’ve trained my own dogs and even some of my cats, and I’m comfortable with shy, reactive, or sensitive animals who need a little extra time to feel safe. I also have a strong interest in animal nutrition and take a holistic, compassionate approach to care. I’m now transitioning into the pet care industry to follow my lifelong passion; treating every pet as if they’re my own. I currently work full-time, four days a week, with a schedule that changes monthly. I’m always available on Sundays, and I do my best to accommodate bookings around my work schedule whenever possible. Trabajo 4 días con horario variable y siempre estoy libre los domingos. Me adapto cuando puedo. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always treat their pets and space as if they were my own. I follow the pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and potty breaks to help them feel comfortable and secure. I also give plenty of love, patience, and attention, especially for shy or reactive pets. I keep the home clean and tidy, respect their rules and property, and make sure to communicate regularly with updates, photos, and any questions that come up. My goal is to make both the pets and their owners feel completely at ease.

About: I’ve grown up with a dog and 3 cats ever since I was little and helped take care of them as I got older. Over the past couple months I fostered a dog and was able to help him find his forever home! I am a recent college graduate from the University of Arizona who is starting a job in Nursing in Denver. Over the summer I would be able to care for pets pretty much anytime necessary into my daily/weekly routine :) I live in a house with a fenced front and backyard with plenty of space of your pet to run around. My house also has a doggie door to the backyard. I enjoy going on walks as well and would be more than happy to walk to your pet needs!

About: While I haven’t had a dog of my own, I have over 13 years of experience caring for cats, including my late cat who battled CKD in the last two years of her life. The experience has taught me a deep sense of responsibility, attentiveness, and patience that translates well to dog care. For the past several years, I’ve regularly boarded a friend’s small dog during the holidays and her vacations. During those stays, I’ve been responsible for her daily walks, mealtimes, play sessions, and keeping her on a consistent routine. I’ve learned to tune into a dog’s energy, respect their space, and respond calmly to their needs—whether that means a long walk, a snuggle on the couch, or some quiet time. Even though I come from a “cat parent” background, I approach every dog in my care with the same love, structure, and attention to detail—treating them like part of the family. I'm currently taking a career break and focusing on online courses, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m usually home during the day and can easily accommodate daily walks, drop-in visits, or boarding needs without juggling a packed calendar. Since I’m not working full-time, your pet won’t be left alone for long hours—I can give them the attention, companionship, and consistency they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I genuinely enjoy building it into my day. Whether it’s morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or quiet cuddle time in the evening, I’m happy to shape my schedule around what keeps your pet happiest and most comfortable. If your cat is boarding at our home, they’ll have a calm, spacious environment to explore. Our neighborhood is very quiet. My late cat spent over 10 happy years here, so the space is already cat-friendly—with cat trees, toys, cozy nap spots, and plenty of room to roam. I’m mindful of creating a stress-free space, especially for shy or senior cats, and I always make sure they feel safe, seen, and secure. While we don’t have a backyard for small dog boarding, we live just a one-minute walk from a public park where many neighbors walk their dogs. I will take your dog(s) there for potty breaks, walks, and fresh air throughout the day. Inside the home, I maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable space where dogs can relax and feel at ease. I keep routines consistent, supervise interactions carefully, and treat every pet like a family member. Safety is always my top priority, and I take extra care to ensure your pet is secure, happy, and well looked after at all times.

About: Hi! I’m Chelsea, a lifelong dog lover and former banking professional turned devoted pet caregiver. Since 2009, I have been the go-to dog sitters for friends and family, known for being reliable, loving, and attentive. Right now, I share my days with my second dog—a playful and affectionate pup I’ve raised since he was little. I have hands-on experience with everything from training high-energy puppies to supporting senior dogs with special needs. I’m flexible, dependable, and committed to making your dog feel safe, happy, and right at home while you’re away. Can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I’m a full-time housewife, so your dog will have constant companionship. I walk my dog twice a day, and I’m happy to take yours along for the adventure! If your dog prefers some alone time, I can walk them separately. I live just a 5-minute walk from a lovely dog park, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities for play and socializing. My own dog is very friendly and loves to play fetch, so if your dog enjoys playtime, they’ll get along wonderfully. However, if your dog prefers a quieter environment, I can easily accommodate that as well. Your dog’s comfort and happiness are my top priority! As an added bonus, I also prepare homemade meals for my dog, and if your dog prefers human-grade food, I’m happy to offer this option as well (with a small additional charge, based on their size).

“Anida has been dog walking for me for a few weeks now and has been very responsible and handles my occasionally reactive dog well. I’m grateful for her help!”

Joseph N.
“I have known Joseph for as long as he has had his own dog, Athena. He provides her with the love, attention and exercise she needs as an excitable growing puppy. He has trained Athena to play very well with all other dogs and she recognizes any potential limitations in other dogs (e.g. older/smaller dogs). He finds time every day to walk and play with Athena, often spending an hour at the dog park on top of walking her. I have observed her behavior and listening skills improve over the time she has been with Joseph and I think he is a great, loving and responsible dog-owner.”

Taylor F.
“Taylor LOVES dogs. She stops every person walking their dog and pets the dog and speaks to the owner. Her dog just died this month. She did everything possible to save him. She was the best dog parent to Charlie. She is also a neat freak and would leave Amy house spotless. She is reliable and compassionate. You would be lucky to add her to your program.”

Maury G.
“She is one of those rare people you meet who cares for all animals and she does everything she can to help as many as she is able to. She does so by adopting animals in bad situations and by volunteering at the local humane society. I have personally seen her walk a 100 pound and a 70 pound dog at the same time so she is very capable of walking anyone's dog, regardless of size or temperament. She administers medication to all of our dogs and cats and she grooms them herself as well.”

“Wei (Kathryn) pet sat my three cats when I went out of state for a week, and she went above and beyond. She only needed to visit once every few days to empty the litter box and top off the water dish, but she came every day to play with the cats and give them treats, ensuring they weren't lonely or confused as to why I was away. My cats, who normally shy away from strangers, rapidly acclimatized to her presence and I appreciated her granting me peace of mind while away on my trip. She genuinely cares for the pets in her care, and I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

Calliane is fantastic with my dog, Maya. Maya is nervous around new people but by the second walk with Calli, she was wagging her tail like crazy! Calliane is communicative, punctual, friendly, and professional. It feels great to have someone you can trust with your pet, I look forward to continuing to work with Calliane.

Arshia was very accommodating to our last minute need for a dog walker. She made time, on short notice, to meet so Tank could get familiar with her. Tank took to Arshia immediately and was very comfortable with her. I would definitely recommend Arshia to anyone looking for someone to take care of their pet.
