We also communicated with Mary that he had a bit of GI upset and that he would need to be on a special diet and medication while we were away. Mary did a great job at keeping us updated with daily pictures and videos, and was quick to respond if we had questions regarding Otto’s behavior and comfort. This was the first time that we’ve left him with someone else for a longer period of time, and we were at ease knowing that he was well taken care of. When we got home, Otto was relaxed and ready for bed upon our late return. Our house was spotless and she also took out the trash and stripped the bedsheets from our spare bedroom. Thank you for keeping our space clean and tidy and leaving us notes and a cute drawing of our boy! We appreciate your kindness and care for animals and we’re looking forward to working with you again in the near future.”

About: I'm an animal lover who has years of experience with dogs, cats, and rabbits! I educate myself on animal behavior and find that it really helps me be able to meet their needs. Not afraid to administer medication or go the extra mile for whatever a loved pet needs. I'm available every single day of the week - morning, midday, and evenings. I sometimes take an hour or so of classes in the evening which are extremely easy to work around, I'm very flexible and typically don't travel for holidays. I'm completely ready to adhere to any standards that clients have in their home. I am very communicative and will reach out if instructions need clarification.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses, and have experience in oral med administration with both cats and dogs. I have a soft spot for the big dogs (they're lap-sized if you commit!). I run half marathons so getting good exercise in will be no problem (even in Wisconsin weather!). I'm currently training for distance running, so you can expect great exercise for your pet! Whether it's a long meandering sniff-ari or an intense loop around the neighborhood, I would love to know what fits your dog best. As I'm in your home, your instructions are paramount. You know your pet better than anyone, and I am happy to keep their normal routines in place. I like getting to know each animal and their unique personality, and while I *love* giving snuggles and pets, I understand some pets prefer their space.

“Sophie was great with our Brittany and Lab. We had to book something last minute and she responded right away with her availability. Showed up on time and gave good updates with pictures of how the night was going with the dogs. We have a Brittany that has horrible separation anxiety. She did very well with Sophie after only meeting her for 5 minutes before we had to leave. I would recommend her to anyone needing a good dog sitter.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was old enough to know what a pet was, whether it’s my own, a neighbor’s, or a friend/family member’s. I love animals, and am considering going into vet work! I have experience with both puppies/kittens and seniors as well :). I can walk, feed, give meds, and do anything you need! I’m a full-time student during the week, but I will always have time to drop-in, or stay overnight. I’m very flexible with my scheduling, so I will happily do whatever you and your pet need! While I can’t offer boarding at my home because I have four roommates, I will care for pets in every way possible no matter what! I know some nice parks for walks, and I’m also happy to chill if they’re a homebody! Again, entirely up to you and your pets needs :)
