I work from home, so your dog will get a lot of attention when I care for them (and they'll probably get a nickname or two). Walks, bathroom breaks, visits to the dog park, and lots of pets and ear scratches all fit into my daily and weekly schedule with ease. I am willing to book outside of my typical radius for an increased fee to offset mileage, gas costs, and time.

I have a lot of experience with anxious dogs in particular, so am used to reading what a dog needs and wants with a close eye. I take care to make sure that a dog is comfortable with me, that I respect their boundaries, that I respond to their needs, and that we remove ourselves from any situation that might upset or overwhelm them. I often ask a pet owner for details about their dog's usual routine, any particular habits they have, their behavior on leash, and what gives them comfort. This helps me better respond to what the dog is sharing about their needs.

A typical day
We’ll spend some time exploring, taking walks, and smelling all the smells. When at home, I give dogs a lot of attention and love based on what they seem to need and want — lots of playing and giving pets.

Experienced caring for dogs of all sizes, along with house cats, rodents and reptiles. Particular experience with medium and large size dogs who are anxious/reactive. Rates lowered while I establish myself on Rover.
