About: I grew up on a farm here in Dane County and have experience looking after many species: large animal, small animal, fish, reptiles, birds, and of course cats and dogs! I have officially been petsitting since 2018 but have watched the pets of friends and family much longer than that. I received my degree in Animal and Veterinary Biosciences from UW Madison in 2023 with an emphasis in nutrition, and I worked at a pet food store for 6 years previous to that, so I am happy to accommodate any special feeding requests. I own two large protection breed dogs myself, but have also owned and petsat small breed dogs, so I have no size or breed exception. I am happy to work with reactive dogs as long as you help me to have a thorough understanding of what scares/upsets them. Please reach out to me if you have any questions! I am happy to do overnights, stay long term, or do just quick drop ins. I currently am working 8:30-5 M-F so I am typically unavailable during those hours. I am happy to do overnights, long term stays, drop in visits, or walks I make sure to go over all of the owners requests and requirements and to follow all rules. I am clean and tidy and will leave your house as I found it.

“Ann did a great job caring for our dog and even made friends with our very shy cat. She was very responsive and sent lots of updates, which were very reassuring since this was the first time we’ve left our dog at home overnight. Our dog was happy and calm when we returned. We will definitely rebook with her if she is available!”

“Marley goes above and beyond and I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. Our cat has to take medication and she did great handling that. We were out of town and I trusted her completely. She offered updates and pictures and we knew our cat was in great hands. Her knowledge and professionalism sets her apart from the rest! :)”

“Corey was a great sitter for Buddy! She took very good care of him, asked a lot of great questions and followed the guidance I provided for his care. She administered his meds twice a day and sent me daily updates. She left me a nice note for when I returned home and even ran the dishwasher. I highly recommend Corey and will hire her again for Buddy.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, & many other animals since I was young! I currently have two English Cocker Spaniels - they are sweeties! My husband and I got them as pups and trained them ourselves. I feel very confident working with puppies and I adore them. The dogs I grew up with were all rescues, so I also feel confident in caring for rescue dogs that may have more difficult pasts or behaviors. We had a senior chihuahua up until a year ago- she was my everything! Big or small, active or couch potato, I’m happy to care for your special ones. I am happy to get out and walk, run, bike, train or play as well as cuddle up and give some loves. (: I have a flexible work schedule and can easily fit in part-time pet sitting. I’m happy to come by for an hour or two in the afternoon as well as stay the night and keep the animals active morning and evening. I typically try to avoid leaving pets for more than 5 hours- it’s typically 2-4. I have two sweet, easy going boys that are very happy to play and hang out with other dogs in the owner’s home if they would like. I am flexible- I have watched active dogs, low-key dogs, dogs that need extra love and attention, and everything in between. I’m an active person and am happy to take dogs on longer walks or runs, even. My lifestyle is such that doing activities with animals fits in well with the day-to-day.

“Marri took such good care of my dogs. She sent lots of pictures and updates to let me know how they were doing.”

“Abby is truly the best!! We felt so comforted knowing our boys were cared for and loved by Abby while on vacation. Our cats are NEEDY and she was there for them in every way. She was super responsive and sent frequent adorable updates. She handled an unexpected difficult behavior situation between the boys calmly and wonderfully. We returned to a sparkling house with two healthy and happy cats!! We’re so grateful for Abby’s help and would book her again in a heartbeat. Can’t recommend her enough! Thank you!! ❤️”
