About: Dogs are a huge part of my life! Before moving to Wisconsin, I owned and operated a dog walking and overnight boarding business in Maryland for two years. These days, I spend much of my time fostering dogs for a local rescue, helping them decompress, learn home life, and get ready for their forever families. With three personal dogs, I’m very comfortable managing a multi-dog household and all the different personalities that come with it. I’ve cared for everything from energetic, playful pups to seniors who prefer a cozy spot on the couch, as well as rescue dogs who need extra patience, structure, or time to feel comfortable. Fostering has taught me that there really isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to dogs. I pay close attention to body language, respect boundaries, make thoughtful introductions, and adjust my approach based on what each individual dog needs. I also know how hard it can be to leave your dog behind and wonder how they’re doing. You can expect daily updates from me, including plenty of photos and videos, so you can see how your dog is settling in and what they’ve been up to. My goal is to give your dog a safe, comfortable, fun place to stay—and give you the peace of mind that they’re with someone experienced, attentive, and who truly gets dogs. Pet care fits very naturally into my everyday life. I’m a stay-at-home mom to a middle schooler and work remotely part-time, which means I’m home quite a bit and have plenty of flexibility to give the animals in my care lots of attention, love, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and downtime. With three resident dogs—a 70 lb senior mix, a 2-year-old Boston Terrier, and a 1-year-old English Bulldog/French Bulldog mix—and all three started out as fosters who never left! I continue to foster regularly and work very closely with a local dog rescue, so welcoming another dog into our routine is something the dogs are very accustomed to. Dogs staying with us aren't spending the day alone waiting for someone to come home from work. I'm around throughout the day to keep an eye on everyone, accommodate individual routines, and provide plenty of attention (or a cozy place to nap, if that's more their speed!). Pet care is genuinely part of my everyday life, and I love it that way. Here, pets are treated like part of the family. My dogs are kennel trained, but they're also welcome throughout the home—including on the furniture and beds. I'm happy to follow your lead, though! If your dog sleeps in a crate, follows certain house rules, eats on a specific schedule, or isn't allowed on furniture at home, I'll do my best to keep their routine consistent. I live in a large apartment, so all outdoor time is supervised and on leash. I'm very comfortable with puppies and their extra needs, including frequent potty breaks, potty pads, crate training, and the general chaos that comes with puppyhood! I have extra crates that can accommodate dogs up to approximately 75–80 lbs, plus more dog beds and toys than any household probably needs. If your pet has food or environmental allergies, please let me know. I am very accustomed to managing allergies and am happy to follow specific instructions regarding food, treats, medications, or environmental triggers. Because your dog will share our home with my husband, middle-school-aged child, and our three resident dogs, dogs staying with us must be comfortable with older children, men, and other dogs. I take introductions and dog body language seriously and want every animal in the house—yours and mine—to feel safe and comfortable. While others do live in the home, I will be the caregiver for any other animals. For care in your home, I'll follow your lead. You know your pets and their routine best, and my goal is to keep things as familiar and consistent as possible while you're away. I'm also happy to care for more than just dogs during in-home visits—cats and other household pets are welcome, too! Whether your pet stays with us or I care for them in their own home, I'll treat their individual routine as exactly that: individual. Some pets want to be your shadow, some want nonstop playtime, and some would prefer that I serve dinner promptly and otherwise respect their personal space. I'm good with all three!
“Robert is an exceptional caregiver. Our dog loves him. She watches out the window for him to arrive for their walks. He's intuitive and prepared for anything that Ruby may need. It's a huge relief when we know Robert is watching out for our girl.”

“Michelle was absolutely fantastic with Kona. Our pup is nervous around new people and Michelle was amazing on her first visit/walk to meet her in advance of her house/pet sitting. After her walk and getting to know Kona, Michelle did a thorough walk through of our house and asked all the little questions and details that I’d never think to talk about before she comes to sit. I’m so confident that she will be an amazing sitter while we are away!”

“Hillary did an amazing job walking my shy pup and quickly won her over! In addition to being amazing with my dog, Hillary did and excellent job communicating with me about how my dog did on their walks, tactics she used to help build up my dog's confidence, and Hillary even helped clean up a potted plant that my dog had knocked over one day. I would highly recommend Hillary to anyone looking for care for their pets!”

“It was reassuring knowing Ellie and Riley got to go on walks while I was at work . Ashley was so great during our meet and great and really interacted nicely with the dogs! I will definitely be scheduling time with Ashley again, and consider her for overnights for short trips!!”

“Hannah has been amazing with my dog. He’s a bit anxious and she has been incredibly patient with him and is building a strong bond with him. Hannah has been super communicative and has been great to work with all around!!”

“Austin has been great with my dog, Jax. He's punctual, communicates well, and takes Jax's needs as an old dog into account, taking it slow with him and giving him breaks in the hot weather!”

About: Animal loving CNA, here to care for your furry loved one. Animals have always been apart of my life in both big & small ways. Being able to care for other pets, is just an extension of me caring for my own. My goal is to make your pet(s) as comfortable, loved, and cared for as if you had never left. I pride myself in the small details & going above and beyond what is expected. ~ Experience with young puppies to senior dog, and diabetic dogs needing insulin. ~ Extensive experience with cats including specialized medical needs. ~ Comfortable giving oral, topical, or injectable medications. MY BACKGROUND: At an early age while growing up on five acres in the country, I was often taking care of a variety of animals, including our dogs and many barn cats. I was a bit of a cat Momma, often times assisting with extra care like bottle feeding or treating illnesses as they came. Eventually I started taking care of our neighbors animals when they were away. Throughout childhood I had several special cats that became my indoor pets & my first adopted dog at the age of 13. After high school I worked at a stable. My ‘Cat Whisper’ abilities came in handy while here- tending to the cats & ensuring the kittens grew up & had a chance to be healthy, loved barn cats. As a young adult, I cared for my two indoor cats & my Boxer puppy - a dream come true. ADDITIONALLY: I have almost 10 years of experience as a CNA and have completed 1 year of nursing school. You can feel confident knowing that your pet is in capable hands. I’m currently working from home & homeschool my daughter, allowing my weekdays to be flexible. I’m also home most weekends. I’m available for house sitting, drop-in care, walks, and extended care. FOR THOSE LOOKING TO PLAN AHEAD… I have my Spring/ Summer 2027 currently unavailable as I don’t have enough information yet to determine my exact availability. If you have an upcoming trip you are planing and in need of care, or looking for reoccurring care during these dates, please message me directly to get priority booking as my availability opens. My goal is to make your pet(s) as comfortable, loved, and cared for as if you had never left, and to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I know that every family has a different way of caring for their pets. Therefore, I will work with you to find out how best to care for your animal by asking questions up front before I even step foot in your home. Communication is key. At the end of my visit, I will give you an overview of your pets time with me including sending pictures. If there’s anything else you’re looking for, just ask.
“Anaya was wonderful with our two dogs. She was always on time and provided timely responses to questions and updates on our fur babies. We would love to have her take care of our dogs again!”

“Paula was amazing! I know our little guy can get unsure meeting people, by his tail wags he was happy to see her! She was very understanding, accommodating, and showed lots of love to Harvey! She took care of him at our home and at her house. From the pictures he looked like he was in a resort getting sunshine! Highly recommend her she is super caring and nice! Thank you Paula!”

About: My love for animals started as a child going to dog shows and pet sitting for friends. I love watching shows like Caesar Milan and PitBulls and Parolees. Over the years, I have owned multiple cats with varying personalities and temperaments, petsat, and walked all sizes of dogs from chihuahuas to Irish wolfhounds. Also, I have worked with aggressive or easily overexcited breeds. If your pet is like this, just let me know and I will do my best to care for them. I decided to become a professional on Rover because I am passionate about animals and enjoy every minute with them. It also provides me with the flexible hours I need to care for my young daughters. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! I am currently a full time mom, but have plenty of time to play with, walk, and care for your fur babies while my girls are in school. I am available after 8:30 am for drop ins or walks. For boarding I am able to keep overnight. I have a large, fenced yard for dogs to run, play, and do their business. I can keep pets separated upstairs and downstairs if needed. I am very respectful of other's personal property if you need me to care for your pets in your own home.
“Michelle is great!! My dog is very shy and slow to warm up to people so I was worried about finding someone to walk him while we are at work but Michelle has been awesome!”

About: I'm an animal lover who has years of experience with dogs, cats, and rabbits! I educate myself on animal behavior and find that it really helps me be able to meet their needs. Not afraid to administer medication or go the extra mile for whatever a loved pet needs. I'm available every single day of the week - morning, midday, and evenings. I sometimes take an hour or so of classes in the evening which are extremely easy to work around, I'm very flexible and typically don't travel for holidays. I'm completely ready to adhere to any standards that clients have in their home. I am very communicative and will reach out if instructions need clarification.
About: I’ve worked/volunteered at the Humane Society for two years. I’ve watched friends dogs since I was 12 years old. Love to take dogs on walks, to the dog parks and just spend time with them. I have 2 dogs already at home so I can only watch your pets at your house. I currently work full time so pretty much work around my full time job. I’m more available in the afternoons, there are some days that i can do mornings. I treat them like my own with all the tender love and care they need. I have a fenced in backyard that the dogs love to play in.
About: We are a family of four that wants to get a dog some day when our children are a bit older. We have two daughters aged 9 and 5. We love to do dog sitting so we can still enjoy a dog in our home. I am a high school teacher and my wife stays home 3 out of 5 days/week with our two young daughters. My wife grew up with Labradors and I grew up with Maltese and Terriers. We cannot wait to have our own dog again. Will your dog be the one to convince us of what type of dog we want for our family? We look forward to meeting you and treating your dog like they are part of our family! Because we do not currently have a dog and only take one dog at a time, your dog will be very well cared for and receive tons of attention and affection! **once in awhile, we may have two bookings that overlap slightly depending on pick-up/drop-off times, but if that happens we will communicate that with you! My wife is home Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with our daughters. On Mondays and Tuesdays, we are gone from 8:30-4:00. If that is too long of a period for your dog to go without a potty break please let us know! I am a teacher at Memorial highschool (just 5 mins from our home) and can easily come home during my lunch break for a quick dog walk! We have a fenced in yard for your dog to explore. Otherwise, we will let your dog roam anywhere in the house! If needed, we have baby gates and are able to section off parts of our home.

Chelssey did such a great job walking Charlie! She made sure he had fresh water before she left and was so thoughtful about all of the little things I have set up to help Charlie behave while I’m away, like keeping the bins in front of the door so he doesn’t scratch. I really appreciated how attentive and caring she was. Your pup is definitely in good hands with Chelssey!
