About: Our kids LOVE dogs, they pretty much live for them. We can't have our own right now, so we want to love on yours while you're away! We've owned our own dogs, and both of the adults grew up taking care of and loving dogs. We're happy to help reinforce any training that you're doing with your pup! We work during the week, but we can spend the weekend giving full-time care to your dog! We are open to watching your pup during the week, but they would be home alone from about 9am-4:30 pm. Just send me a message if you need longer care than the weekend and we can discuss details! We have a fenced backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run and play fetch. We can offer plenty of outside time and bathroom breaks, we're happy to keep your pet on their typical schedule!
“Austin is fantastic! I love all of the pictures, updates, flexibility, and care he takes while walking Mazie! She always looks so happy and excited! Will recommend Austin to anyone and everyone!”

“I’m so thankful to have Allegra as a dog walker- she is a rock star! I feel so safe with her care with the dogs, and she always has great feedback after every walk.”

“Anaya was wonderful with our two dogs. She was always on time and provided timely responses to questions and updates on our fur babies. We would love to have her take care of our dogs again!”

About: I’ve had experience with several different dog breeds growing up from small dogs to American Bullies. I did house sitting and dog walking on the side a few years back. We adopted a German Shepherd a few years back as well and he is the perfect addition. He didn’t come without his obstacles. We put him through several types of training from e-collar, to command training and prong collar training. We’ve also done agility and swimming with him so your puppy will very much be active (if that’s what you’re looking for) and cared for! I’m more open to doing drop ins and dog walks/park rather than overnights. I’d be open to it though. Everyday is different but I’m very flexible! Willing to do weekdays or weekends, if it is a weekend I will just need advance notice to ensure I’m free. Im moving to another building next month that has its own private fenced dog park. I also have a large crate if needed for the dog.

“Jennifer is great! We'd love for her to walk our dog again (in fact we already rebooked). We needed help once a week with our 8mo puppy. Jennifer always picks him up on schedule and returns him happy and well exercised! Our dog loves everyone but my husband is convinced the pup loves Jennifer extra.”

“Appreciated Bobby walking my dog twice a day while I was out of town unexpectedly. Enjoyed receiving pics and the logistical updates from the walks. Set my mind at ease.”

“Michelle did an excellent job. When we first met, she took notes about my requests. She followed my directions precisely and took excellent care of Myla. I received updates before, during, and after Myla's walk and she left very thorough notes on the visit card. I highly recommend Michelle.”

About: My love for animals started as a child going to dog shows and pet sitting for friends. I love watching shows like Caesar Milan and PitBulls and Parolees. Over the years, I have owned multiple cats with varying personalities and temperaments, petsat, and walked all sizes of dogs from chihuahuas to Irish wolfhounds. Also, I have worked with aggressive or easily overexcited breeds. If your pet is like this, just let me know and I will do my best to care for them. I decided to become a professional on Rover because I am passionate about animals and enjoy every minute with them. It also provides me with the flexible hours I need to care for my young daughters. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! I am currently a full time mom, but have plenty of time to play with, walk, and care for your fur babies while my girls are in school. I am available after 8:30 am for drop ins or walks. For boarding I am able to keep overnight. I have a large, fenced yard for dogs to run, play, and do their business. I can keep pets separated upstairs and downstairs if needed. I am very respectful of other's personal property if you need me to care for your pets in your own home.
About: We are a family of four that wants to get a dog some day when our children are a bit older. We have two daughters aged 9 and 5. We love to do dog sitting so we can still enjoy a dog in our home. I am a high school teacher and my wife stays home 3 out of 5 days/week with our two young daughters. My wife grew up with Labradors and I grew up with Maltese and Terriers. We cannot wait to have our own dog again. Will your dog be the one to convince us of what type of dog we want for our family? We look forward to meeting you and treating your dog like they are part of our family! Because we do not currently have a dog and only take one dog at a time, your dog will be very well cared for and receive tons of attention and affection! **once in awhile, we may have two bookings that overlap slightly depending on pick-up/drop-off times, but if that happens we will communicate that with you! My wife is home Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with our daughters. On Mondays and Tuesdays, we are gone from 8:30-4:00. If that is too long of a period for your dog to go without a potty break please let us know! I am a teacher at Memorial highschool (just 5 mins from our home) and can easily come home during my lunch break for a quick dog walk! We have a fenced in yard for your dog to explore. Otherwise, we will let your dog roam anywhere in the house! If needed, we have baby gates and are able to section off parts of our home.
About: I have experience working at Paw Pals taking care of cats and dogs. I have also raised and cared for hamsters, horses, birds and bunnys. I'm currently working part-time to only care for animals so I have plenty of time for your animals! Let me know when you need me and I will be there! They will get the time they need. ❤️ Your pet will have the whole downstairs to themselves and lots of play space. I have two friendly cats that are willing to be friends with your pets but they will be upstairs. There are multiple grassy areas to run around in around my condo and trails to walk your pet that will allow them to play in. Treats treats treats❣️
About: My family dog, Midnight, is a rescue black lab and was a reluctant, anxious leash walker for many years. She has given me experience with “sniff walks”, dog-led walks, treat reinforcement, and various types of collars & harnesses. Today, she is fully comfortable on a leash and we regularly walk 2-3 miles at a brisk pace. My goal is to provide a comfortable and safe experience for your dog at their pace. I would love to spend time with your dog and provide the same level of care as I do for my own! 🐾 I’m a teacher and am available after school hours for drop in visits and dog walking during the week (Mon-Fri). My schedule is more open on the weekends and I can offer my services morning, afternoon, or evening time. I prioritize your pet’s safety with attentive care, secure handling, and clear routines. You can trust me to be reliable, communicative, and respectful of your home. I provide a calm, positive environment where your dog feels comfortable, exercised, and genuinely cared for during every visit or walk.
“Paula was amazing! I know our little guy can get unsure meeting people, by his tail wags he was happy to see her! She was very understanding, accommodating, and showed lots of love to Harvey! She took care of him at our home and at her house. From the pictures he looked like he was in a resort getting sunshine! Highly recommend her she is super caring and nice! Thank you Paula!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 7. I currently have 2 dogs at home and 4 cats. Both of my dogs are larger dogs, so I have a lot of experience with larger dogs. My first dog was a shih tzu, so I also have that small dog experience. When I got him he was a puppy and I had to train him. Now he is 10 and living his best life. My two dogs at home were puppies when we got them too. Now one of them is getting older so I have the experience with older dogs too. I am currently a full time student online to become a vet tech. I would be able to dog-sit, give walks and have playdates typically whenever. My classes change per semester so it would depend but as of right now, later afternoon and evenings are available. I also work full time, 4 days per week. Two of the days I work second shift 3p-12am. The other days are 7a-4p. I would be able to accept certain things on those days but they will have to be time specific. Once every other week I volunteer at PetSmart to socialize with the kittens and clean them up a bit. Takes no longer than 2 hours. I am a vet assistant at VCA Emergency so I am well rounded on patient care and medications. In my client's home, I would definitely take them out on a schedule to make sure they don't have any accidents in the house. If they are puppies, I would work on training them in free time and playing with them to get their energy out. With all animals I would take on walks, time varying depending on the weather. Making sure to clean up any messes that are made and prioritizing the time I spend with the animal (s).
“Alisyn has been wonderful with our dog, Indy! We would highly recommend her for dog walking. She is professional, dependable, and communicative. Most importantly, she made Indy feel very comfortable right away. We greatly appreciate the Rover (Report) Cards and photos after every walk. Thank you, Alisyn!”

About: I grew up with two dogs and have owned guinea pigs for the last 6 years. I volunteer with a shelter where I walk and play with dogs. I also foster dogs with my rescue but do not currently have a foster. I currently work a full time job. I am available for lunchtime walks or enrichment. I am available during the evenings and weekends to care for your dog whether that’s walks, enrichment, or overnight sitting. I’m currently living in an apartment so any sitting would need to occur at your home! I can easily follow any directions you have to ensure your furry friend is well cared for. I’m looking forward to help with your needs. Please reach out with any questions!

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my entire life and currently care for my own pets, including a senior cat with special dietary and medical needs. Through that experience, I’ve become comfortable monitoring behavior changes, administering routine care, and following detailed instructions. As a psychology graduate from UW–Madison, I am patient, observant, and dependable. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level, and I take the time to build trust while keeping routines consistent. Whether your pet needs playtime, companionship, medication management, or simply a calm and reliable presence, I will care for them as if they were my own. I am especially comfortable with cats, senior pets, shy animals, and pets that benefit from extra patience and attention. I ’m currently building my pet-sitting business and have a flexible schedule for drop-in visits, dog walks, and cat care throughout the week, as well as house-sitting. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I make every effort to follow their normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and playtime. I’ll always communicate clearly and provide updates so you can feel confident while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where pets can relax and maintain as much of their normal routine as possible. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise needs, and any special care requests. I am attentive to behavior changes and will keep you updated with regular photos and messages throughout their stay. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

Claire was amazing! She was so friendly, and easy to coordinate with, and arrived in a timely manner . You can tell she really loves dogs. Bella was tired after the walk, which was much needed after being home alone today. Would recommend Claire for anyone in the Madison or Sunprarie area with pups in need of a good walk!

We’ve been so lucky to have Jasmine as our dog walker. She walks our dog several times a week, and from the very beginning she’s been incredibly dependable. She always shows up right on time (which, as any busy household knows, makes such a difference), and we never have to wonder whether our dog is in good hands. Our dog absolutely loves her. She gets so excited when she arrives, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about her.She takes the time to make sure she gets a good walk in. Finding someone you can truly trust with both your pet and your home isn’t easy, and we feel very fortunate to have found her. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a dependable, caring dog walker.

Ryan does such an great job with our two pups. Our younger dog tends to pull ahead, and our older girl tends to want to stop and sniff frequently. Ryan helps both dogs get enrichment on their walks. He's also been a great communicator, and reliable house sitter. We will book again.
