“We are looking to find someone to board Ollie with for weekends. To start him out slow (he has separation anxiety), we had a Meet and Greet, a short (3hr) stay and later, a full day stay. Julie was clear that her dog Zilla's comfort with Ollie was a priority, which I fully support. I won't want to trust my dog to someone who isn't looking out for ALL the dogs involved. Julie was very responsive with messages, showed us around her home and yard and was generally very calm and patient. While the dogs didn't end up getting along well enough for this to work out long term, Ollie warmed up to Julie and was definitely as calm as I've seen him after being left.”

“Andrew took great care of our active dog. I can tell she got a good mix of snuggles and walks throughout the day. Great communication. Look forward to booking again!”

“Elena is kind and attentive, not to mention intuitive and smart with dogs! Millie (my pup) loves her and Zoe, and they all have so much fun that Millie homes home tired and happy every time. I feel so comfortable sending her there, and love seeing the pictures of millie enjoying herself! Three cheers for Elena!!”

“Polyanna was good with communicating throughout the day with text, pictures, and videos. She also was able to watch our dog with a 3 days notice.”

“Wolfy had such a great day with Mary and her family. He can back very happy, and Mary sent several lovely photos of his time. Mary was also flexible with me when my plans changed after booking, which was so appreciated.”

About: I grew up on a farm in Texas, where I had at least four dogs and six cats in the house throughout my life. I love pets more than anything! To that extent, I worked in a boarding kennel throughout high school and college before Rover existed. I now have five years of experience with Rover and Wag in multiple cities and states. My experience in boarding kennels and with Rover has allowed me to see and handle a wide range of situations in high-stress environments while having been professionally responsible for the safety and comfort of hundreds of animals. I will always provide compassionate care for your pets, as my goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed during your time away, just as much as your furry companions do with me. As a PhD student, I have the flexibility to read and write at home, and I enjoy alleviating stress with pet care. Additionally, my husband works from home, so the house almost always has a human or two around :) Pet safety is my number one priority. A close second is providing a comfortable and fun environment. For boarding and daycare, the basement is set up for pups to relax and play, and the house is segmented by gates to secure their safety as well as protect our belongings. I provide crates for separation if necessary, particularly around feeding time or depending on the night routine. Additionally, I have a spacious, fenced backyard (our favorite part of the house!), and I will always supervise pups when outside. I pick up poop immediately and keep an eye on whether curious mouths pick up things. For the extra adventurous pups, I also have a 30ft tie-out cable for additional security. Although I have a cat in the house, she stays exclusively in the primary bedroom, and with many gates and doors in place, the likelihood of the pups encountering her is extremely low. For drop-ins, I assure you that I will follow your directions and leave your home in the same condition as when you left it originally. My reviews can attest to that :)

“Mika has stayed with Cameron many times now and always comes back tired and happy! Have never had an issue and Mika is always excited to run in the door for daycare. Only good things to say!”

“Thanks for giving my fur babies extra love & walks so I could enjoy the day with family. The dogs slept 3 hours on a rainy trip back home. Love the pictures & feed back on their day!”

“Our dog Halla is a rescue dog and he is very scared and nervous around new people. Robert has watched him few times and I am grateful that he understands that Halla needs time and space to get to know him. I am sure Halla will be in good hands when our family goes on a vacation this summer.”

“Kristin and Bruce provided exceptional daycare services. My senior dog initially had anxiety being in a different home. Kristen and Bruce were very attentive and made her feel comfortable.”

“Bobby was great! He send me lots of photos and updates throughout the day. I knew she was well cared for. I was apprehensive to try this app, but Bobby alleviated my anxieties by providing Sadie with awesome care!”

“Excellent Provider! Amy was professional and friendly. Communication was great and we could tell both our pup and Amy were having a great time. Our dog came home tired and happy - perfect! We would recommend Amy as a provider and we use her services again without hesitation.”

“Maegan did an excellent job watching our puppy! He was exhausted for the rest of the day, and really enjoyed playing with her dog. Will definitely have our puppy stay there in the future.”

About: As a lifelong dog lover, I care deeply about your pets wellbeing and safety. I’ve grown up with dogs and frequently watch neighbors animals while they’re away. Additionally, I have a lot of experience with childcare and babysitting! I am currently a student at UW. Right now, I am very flexible in the summer months and would love to help care for your dogs. I work part-time, but when I am not working I enjoy spending time outside and exploring Madison. I am extremely flexible to the owners needs and previously established routines. I will ensure pet safety as the most prominent feature of my care.

“Manu is very flexible and communicative! She always treats our pup with the best care. Our pup is always so excited to hang with Manu! Would highly recommend Manu to anyone looking for a dog sitter who gives lots of love and care!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid, and it’s something I truly love. Friends and family have always trusted me to walk, bathe, and care for their pets like they were my own. I don’t just watch dogs—I connect with them, make them feel safe, and treat them with real love. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I currently have a part-time job with flexible hours, which gives me plenty of free time to focus on your dog. I’m available every day of the week, at any time, and I’d love to take your pup on walks, to the park, or just spend quality time playing and keeping them happy. At home, my entire family shares a love for dogs—especially my 14-year-old daughter, who absolutely adores giving them lots of affection. When your dog is with us, they’ll be treated like part of the family, surrounded by love, attention, and warmth. We’re not just pet sitters—we’re dog lovers through and through! I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs—they’ve always been my happy place and a big part of my life. Caring for them comes naturally to me, and that love extends throughout my entire household all truly adore dogs and are always excited to help care for them. In our home, your dog will be treated like family. I’ll make sure they’re well-fed, walked regularly, and get plenty of playtime—especially at the park, where they can enjoy fresh air and fun. My 14-year-old daughter loves spending time with dogs and will make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and truly at home. With us, your dog will be showered with love, attention, and the kind of care that goes beyond basic needs—we treat them like one of our own.

“Benjamin was absolutely wonderful! We had an emergency, and he was flexible and understanding. Our dog had a great time with him, and we would definitely trust him to look after her again!”

“Christine is great! Our big rambunctious pup has so much fun there playing with the hang, he comes home good and tired. She takes great care of him, even gave him some of her homemade dog food when he wasn’t eating well (with permission of course). She really knows dogs well and we trust her completely with our pup.”

“It was my first time using rover but I’m so glad I did! Carli was amazing and made me feel comfortable (and happy) by sending pics of Senna throughout her stay.”

About: Feel comfortable and confident with the care your dog receives! Let’s be honest, sending your dog to a new home or having a new friendly face in your home while you are away can be stressful for you and your pup. I make the transition feel easy and calm for both of you so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pup is well cared for. I work to keep your dog’s routine in tact (very important) and you up to speed on your dog’s care. I’m a highly experienced sitter, proactive and responsive communicator, and a playful, compassionate human. I don’t have a dog so your pup will get my full attention - I will keep up with any behavior training and ensure your dog gets the activity they need to thrive. I can accommodate dogs with special needs (I grew up with a dog with only three working legs) and I have experience administering drugs to pets and farm animals. I look forward to hearing from you! I work from home part time and out of the house (6-8 hours) part time. My schedule varies week to week so depending on the days you book I may be home most of the time. At minimum I’ll give your pup a long walk in the morning and evening and an extra potty and play break mid day or after the evening walk. I have a large fenced in yard that dogs love! I will give lots of pets/scratches, take breaks during my day to play with your pup, and make sure your dog has a comfortable place to rest during the day. I also take great care to ensure no food or trash is accessible because I understand dogs may like to explore and test boundaries when they are curious in a new place.
