“Malena and her family were SO helpful and kind when they took care of my dog! My other sitter bailed last minute and I had a flight to catch and she totally bailed me out over Christmas. She sent so many photos and I know Henry was well taken care of and he had a great time :) I would highly recommend her!”

“Christine was super with Joey, who is a 9 month old 63 pound puppy. I was concerned about her getting along with other dogs. Christine's knowledge and experience came through and she was able to introduce Joey to new dogs successfully, and all were happy and played together. “Robert did an amazing job watching my dog, Bear. He was very communicative and send pictures throughout the day. I would highly recommend him.”

“Eunice did a fantastic job caring for our dog Nina while we were on vacation. This is the first time Nina had ever gone to a pet sitter's house. We had always had someone come to our house to care for our dogs when we were traveling. We were looking for a sitter with dogs in their home, as Nina's doggy sister Maple had passed away recently, and Nina has been very lonely without her. Eunice did a great job getting Nina acclimated to her home and then introducing her dogs (the dogs had met outside awhile before for a meet & greet walk). From the updates we got each day, we could tell how happy Nina was to go on walks and take naps with Eunice's dogs and get snuggles from her and her husband. Knowing that Nina was so well cared for put our minds at ease and allowed us to relax on our vacation. When we picked Nina up, she didn't want to leave! That let us know how comfortable she was there. We are so appreciative of Eunice's care for Nina and would absolutely recommend her to others.”

“Cleda was great! My dog looked so happy in every photo, and Cleda made everything super seamless and stress-free. Definitely going to use her again in the future!”

“Da Yeon was wonderful!! Jada had a great time and we felt very comfortable leaving her. We were sent pictures, which was also great. Additionally, Jada had been groomed when we picked her up which was an added bonus! We will definitely use Da Yeon in the future!”

“This was Gatsby’s second time staying with Edith and he had a blast. The second we pulled up to Edith’s house he lost his mind with excitement realizing where we were! Edith sent frequent updates and photos and I knew Gatsby was getting the best care. Thanks Edith!”

About: Whether your dog is shy, elderly, boisterous, or just wants to sniff, my home and back yard are a fun and welcoming spaces for them to just be themselves. I’ve taken more than a dozen training classes with Dogs Best Friend Training, volunteered with Fetch Wisconsin, and cared for several beloved coonhounds, a Giant Schnauzer, and a few mutts, from puppyhood to the Rainbow Bridge. I have a special spot in my heart for older dogs, and even have a ramp exit from my home into the back yard, should anyone’s legs not do stairs. My current pup is a 35-lb terrier/pittie mix rescue I foster-failed with from FetchWI. She loves other dogs and is available for play at any time. I work from home full-time, leaving only for short errands, generally less than two hours every few days. Dogs at my house get frequent potty breaks and playtime in the spacious fenced back yard. Dogs are never left unsupervised outdoors. They can play with my resident dog, who is a very friendly gal with the motto “Delta Delta Delta can I help ya help ya help ya?”. If I have to be gone for a bit there is plenty of room to crate them, or possibly keep them in a separate space. Water is available at all times, indoors and out. For now, I am only accepting one guest dog at a time for daycare or overnight stays. Dropoff and pickup times are 7-9am and 4-6pm Monday through Saturday. Dogs can choose to spend time indoors or out, weather permitting. They can smell the ferns, check out the rain garden, play in the grass, run around under the firs, and say hello to the kids next door. They can zoom around with my resident dog, chill out on the deck or play toss and fetch with me. Indoors they can explore my downstairs and rest on a dog bed, or hang out near me on the futon or the bed. If the weather is too bad for outdoor play I can do informal training and play scent games with them. Dogs that stay three days or more will get a free bath unless requested otherwise.
