Stress-Free Trips Start with Me!

I grew up on a farm in Texas, where I had at least four dogs and six cats in the house throughout my life, plus birds, rodents, fish, and everything in between. I love working with animals! To that end, I worked at a boarding kennel throughout high school and college, before Rover existed. I now have seven years of experience with Rover and Wag in multiple cities and states. My experience in boarding kennels and with Rover has allowed me to see and handle a wide range of situations in high-stress environments while having been professionally responsible for the safety and comfort of hundreds of animals. I will always provide compassionate care for your pets, as my goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed during your time away, just as much as your furry and non-furry companions do with me.

Couldn’t be more pleased with the careful attention and great communication that Natalie brought when she watched over our epileptic senior cat. She graciously stepped in at the last minute for me when other plans fell through. Highly recommend!

Natalie is such a great sitter! Our cat is very shy around new people. It took a couple visits, but she decided she really liked Natalie. She’s the best!

Amazing job with our cat Luna! Luna appreciated all the pets and we appreciated pictures/check in updates.

Natalie was available on relatively short notice and made us feel totally comfortable that our dog was in good hands while we were away.

Natalie was incredibly professional and a wonderful caretaker to my two cats during her drop-in visits. I had a very stressful week while she took care of my cats, and she genuinely made my week less stressful because I had full faith in her ability to handle any situation that popped up. I highly recommend her services!

Schedule

As a PhD student, I have the flexibility to read and write at home, and I enjoy alleviating stress with pet care. Additionally, my husband works from home, so the house almost always has a human or two around :)

Safety, trust & environment

Pet safety is my number one priority. A close second is providing a comfortable and fun environment. For boarding and daycare, the basement is set up for pups to relax and play, and the house is segmented by gates to secure their safety as well as protect our belongings. I provide crates for separation if necessary, particularly around feeding time or depending on the night routine. Additionally, I have a spacious, fenced backyard (our favorite part of the house!), and I will always supervise pups when outside. I pick up poop immediately and keep an eye on whether curious mouths pick up things. For the extra adventurous pups, I also have a 30ft tie-out cable for additional security. Although I have a cat in the house, she stays exclusively in the primary bedroom, and with many gates and doors in place, the likelihood of the pups encountering her is extremely low. For drop-ins, I assure you that I will follow your directions and leave your home in the same condition as when you left it originally. My reviews can attest to that :)

Pets

A typical day

Whether we're playing in the backyard or belly scratching on the couch, I can ensure your dog's needs are satisfied and that they and you can rest easy. As I have moderately active pups, they tend to follow the cues of other dogs in terms of playing with them or leaving them alone. My pups don't bark much, so the energy in the house is never intense. I am also happy to take pups on walks around the neighborhood on request.

I've worked with almost every breed and anything in between in my fifteen years of petsitting. I appreciate hearing about their daily routines, any quirks to look out for, and, for boarding and daycare, how they interact with other dogs.
