Pet care experience

A tired dog is a good dog

I have over 30 years experience training dogs. I am able to dog sit from my home full time. I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. I'm professional trained as a dog groomer, worked professionally for over 6 years as a groomer, dog trainer and doggie daycare provider. I have also worked as a vet assistant for 2 years in Denver Colorado. I am certified in humane and dog CPR and I graduated with an EMS degree for humans, this training helps me respond to variety of situations with confidence. I was a volunteer at two different Humane Society's for over 12 years. I have fostered, rehabilitated and Rehoused 15 dogs most with serious behavioral issues. I am an avid dog lover and enjoy spending time with my dogs and other people's dogs. I can stay home full time now. I also have a full acer that is fenced and I have walking trails in the country and I still frequently go to the dog park and I am never gone more than 1-2 hours. Rover is away for me to stay home with my dogs and hopefully your dogs. My dogs LOVE having dog friends visit our pack and home.-I am a firm believer in the saying "A tired dog is a good dog".-

Christine kept me in the loop with photos and narratives of how the dogs were doing. My dogs, on pick up, were in good spirits. The older one typically gets stressed when boarded so their good spirits were important. We will use Christine again.

Christine once again did a wonderful job caring for Georgie. We got many pictures every day, and he seemed to really enjoy running around her new, big yard! I also really appreciated the willingness to coordinate pickup and drop-off closer to home since we're coming from Madison.

House Sitting • Jun 02, 2026

Christine stayed with our pups this past weekend and was absolutely fabulous! We have one dog that is reactive to other dogs and then a chow who is extremely particular to the people he lets into his life. They both absolutely loved her and they were so well cared for. Even our backyard dog who loves to run along the fence and bark at people is now just silently running along the fence. Sure hope that lasts! She is also an amazing photographer and sent us beautiful pictures of the boys and gave many updates. She will be our goto when we travel!!! Thank you Christine!

Doggy Day Care • May 03, 2026

Christine is the best. Chance always gets so excited when we’re getting close to her house, he knows he’s going to have such a fun day. She regularly takes the pack to the dog park, which Chance loves. She is super-knowledgeable about dogs. I trust her completely with my fur-baby.

A typical day

I am very relaxed and go with the flow and the needs of my dogs and OF COURSE your dogs needs come first when they are at my home. I like to encourage appropriate playtime behaviors and do mental activities and physical activity throughout the day. Dogs are allowed in the bed with me or if you want them to keep off the furniture, I am happy to arrange that as well.

I Need to have your Dogs current vaccination record to make sure that your dog is vaccinated for rabies, distemper pArvo and bordatella. The safety of my dogs health is very important to me and the safety and health of your dog is my top priority. I have no children so Dogs that do not do well with children are welcome in my home. I do well with dogs that have behavior issues and I'm very good at getting them socialized with my own dogs as my dogs grew up in a doggie daycare environment and are extremely socialize with other dogs.
