Pet care experience

Elizabeth Pet Sitter

I am 37 and have worked professionally with dogs for 10 years during my 20s. I began working in a boarding and daycare facility when I was 18. Since that time I have worked for other kennels as I have moved. I received my training certification in 2010 from Animal Behavior College and volunteered extensively at a shelter in Kansas City. I have volunteered with numerous rescue groups providing training and foster homes along with many boarding facilities. I love pet sitting and getting the opportunity to make a animals happy while their parents are away- all the rewards of being the fun aunt :) Experience with pets who have medications/diabetes/special needs. HOUSE SITTING: I work from home, with appointments throughout the day so your pets won't be left alone for long. I am flexible fitting into your pets routines, watering plants, and any other up-keeps that need done while you are away.

Safety, trust & environment

I like to follow my clients routines so their pet can predict as much as possible. My experience has given me a little bit of the super power to predict the future, which leads to me to taking extra safety steps “just in case”

Lizzy was great with our elderly dog. She has multiple daily meds and a special diet, and actually got a little bit sick while we were gone. Lizzy was kind and patient with her. We got daily updates and pictures and felt totally comfortable while we were away. Zeba was happy and relaxed when we got back and had obviously been well cared for. We'll definitely use Lizzy again!

Elizabeth was great! The pups seem happy and the place was spotless! She even undressed the bed and washed the dishes! We really loved the pics and videos she sent! Thanks Elizabeth!

Our two pups seemed happy and relaxed upon returning home. I received a few updates and photos during their stay. Elizabeth was easy to work with, flexible with pickup and drop off, and I would definitely have our dogs stay with her again.

Stella always has a good time with Elizabeth and we have peace of mind that she is well taken care of while we are gone. Thankful for her to watch stella over the holiday and flexible with drop off pick up.

Amazing caregiver! Elizabeth is a long time positive reinforcement dog trainer. I can go on vacation and not worry about my dogs. They come back exercised, tired, happy and more well mannered. Doesn’t get better! No tiny cages in a sterile environment for them — they go on vacation when I go. It’s perfect!

A majority of the time I work from home while having occasional appointments out of the home. This gives me plenty of flexibility to ensure that your pet gets 1:1 time and gets outside when needed.

I like to know the little rituals you do to help your dog feel safe and comfortable. I like to know what triggers them to feel upset. I like to know what they do when they don’t feel well so I can keep a sharp eye. I definitely like to know what your favorite song to sing to them is.
