“Was able to book with Lauren last minute for a number of walks over the weekend to help while my spouse was away. Was so lucky to have Lauren accept, she was wonderful and Eugene was very excited to go out again after their first walk. Thank you so much!”

“Sean was absolutely wonderful with our finicky girl. He was so patient with her preferences and really did a great job with getting her good exercise during the day. Best we’ve had yet! Momo took to him quickly, we could tell she liked him and felt comfortable with him. Thanks Sean!”

“Ashley was friendly , polite, reliable, great attitude, and my dog warmed up with her right away. Freedom had a great time on their walk and ran back to thank her so I could tell he was very happy . I would definitely recommend her as someone you can trust with your dog , even if the dog is tentative meeting new Dogwalkers! Good luck Ashley!”

About: (Promo code ISABEC18963 for $20 off your first booking with Rover!) I have 3 dogs at home, and I miss them so much! In my house, I share responsibility with my family for feeding our dogs, grooming them, and walking them (I often walk all three at the same time) on hikes. Our dogs are all mixed breeds, and we've had all three since they were puppies, so I'm comfortable with dogs of any breed and age. I would be thrilled to share my love for dogs with yours! Up until Labor Day weekend, I am free any time, any day, except Tuesday afternoons. After that, when my fall semester starts, I am free all day Thursdays, after 4 on Wednesdays, 12-2 on other weekdays, and all day on the weekends. In Boston, I don't have any pets as they aren't allowed in my building, but I know my way around the neighborhoods here, and I'd be happy to walk your dogs or visit them in your homes!

“Lauren has been amazing with our pup! She’s always on time, super easy to communicate with, and really patient. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!”

About: I've cared for family and friend's pets, as well as for the Metro Boston community as a trusted dog walker and pet companion. It's a service unlike many, it brings genuine joy. I'd be so happy to walk your pup! My work schedule has shortened from full time to part time, which makes me more available to sit for dogs of close friends in the Dowtown/South End areas whenever necessary. It's special to share time with pets of friends and to provide them of the walk of feed that's needed, and it's a wonderful way to build community. I live and work in a Chinatown studio loft with one other person and no pets; the space is large with ample running space and clear of debris and large funtiture.

About: I have a dog back in my hometown, and returning to Boston for work and school, I miss him every day. Seeing other furry pets around reminds me of how much I miss spending time with him and others. I love going on long walks and spending time outside, and sharing special moments with furry friends. I’m currently working 9-5, but Thurs-Fri I have the option to work from home so I can regularly take them out and care for them. Long morning walks and evening walks are a must! I love spending time outside and I'd love to have a pet by my side to accompany me. I have a cozy apartment with 1 other roommate. We both love pets and are gentle and caring. We would love to welcome new pets into our home and make them our new friends!

About: I have experience with dog sitting for a family member on and off if they were out for the day or on a trip out of town for a longer period of time. I also sat for a friend that has both a cat and a dog. My other skills include babysitting (I have done this while dog sitting at the same time) and some experience in senior home care. For a period of 6 months, I took care of another family member managing their tube-feeding, medications, and working together with the nurse team to communicate updates, issues and check in on appointments. I do work online, currently building a business. I usually schedule my work around typical business hours (between 8am-5pm) but can adjust around for pet care sits or visits since I'm remote. I do most tasks Monday-Friday with the most availability being on the weekends, most specifically Saturdays. I am very good with taking directions on pets' needs. If they have a certain schedule or specialized regimen, I make sure to keep track and make sure the same rhythm is kept as if the owner is still with them. I also respect the ground rules of a client's home knowing that they are trusting to me by allowing me the visit. I also like learning the different personalities so I'd like to try and bond with the pets even if it's for a short time!

About: While I currently only own a cat, I grew up with cats and dogs and love the way they appreciate life. I also have experience with managing chronic illnesses in cats. Because I have a cat, dogs think I smell like a friend, so I frequently have dogs sit down on my feet or follow me for pets! Booking with me means your furbaby will get many kisses and pets (in addition to whatever else they need), and you'll get photos of our adventures together. I am COVID-19 and flu vaccinated. I have had pets all my life. I started walking dogs and pet sitting because I have flexible days as a consultant and graduate student and I love the way animals experience and view the world. I visit current clients' homes to walk dogs during their humans' work days and check on and play with cats when their humans are traveling.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and have experience volunteering at animal shelters with a variety of dogs and taking them for walks, facilitating play time, engaging in positive reinforcement training and attending to their needs. I love creating stimulating environments for pets by taking them on adventures around town, making sure to take different walk routes as much as possible, and spending quality time in a cozy home environment! I work as an architectural designer at a firm in the south end with great work/life balance, in that we never work more than 8 hours a day within a 4-day week and have 3-day weekends every weekend! I love going to the park and on walks, so creating fun and stimulating environments for pets and going on pet-friendly adventures fits very naturally into my routine and personal hobbies. I live in a 5th floor, two-bedroom apartment (it’s a walk up so being okay with stairs is necessary! Or being small enough to carry). I also have a small shih-tzu mix that loves other dogs but also needs his downtime once the initial greeting is over, so tolerance with small dogs and ability to calm down and chill after the initial excitement of meeting is a must

About: I have had dogs since I was 9 years old (now 24). Both of my dogs were rescues that I got when they were puppies, so I have experience raising them from a young age! Sadly my first dog Dasher passed on last year, but that did give me experience caring for elderly dogs with health complications as well. I also have dog sat for many friends and strangers for time periods of a day to 2 months. I’ve never owned a cat, but have watched them for short periods before. I currently am not working (here for dental school, but it does not start until July 28th) so I am very open when it comes to my schedule. I miss my dogs greatly since moving to Boston, and would like to direct every shred of that love and affection towards your babies! I have experience with creating a safe environment for dogs that have mental health struggles (it is important to tailor a dog’s environment to it; let’s set them up for success!) If you are worried about your dog eating things it should not, please rest easy knowing that I take it as an utmost priority to keep the environment safe for my dogs.

Giana Y.

“Giana was amazing! So communicative and responsible.”

Miya W.
“Miya is a great person to be a pet caregiver. As my roommate, she’s the most responsible person to live with. She always makes sure that the house is clean and tidy, and takes care of me well. As I’ve visited her home before, I see how well she treats her dog Toby, and especially how much she loves him. She always plays with him, feeds him on time, and showers him with attention and love. She loves animals and is very eager to become a caretaker and I know she’ll do a great job.”

Elise V.
“I had a destination wedding from 10/23 - 10/31 and hired Elise to watch my dog and my cat. I usually have family or a friend care for them while I’m gone, but everyone we trusted was attending the wedding lol. My cat and dog are a little more high maintenance so I was very intentional about who I had watch them (both pets require daily medication). Elise did a wonderful job. She sent pictures of them regularly and there were no issues. I showed her where the pills were, how to wrap them so they’ll eat them and any other information she’d need to know! She’s very responsive and I’d hire her again for sure. It’s better than boarding them.”

Dejah M.Star Sitter

“Dejah was great and communicated well!”

Courtney M.
“Courtney is seriously the best! She is always reliable and trustworthy. I can always leave my pup comfortably because I know he is in great hands. Her communication is amazing and she always checks in during or after her walks. My pup and I appreciate her so much! I would highly recommend hiring her for your furry friends!!!”

“Nathan has watched our doodle many times, and he's simply amazing! He is responsive + communicative before and during his time with Graham. Most importantly, they have so much fun together! I love the picture updates of their walks + playtime in the backyard, and feel completely at ease with leaving Graham in his care for our trips. Highly recommend!”
