About: As an experienced dog parent myself (I've raised a big sweetheart Great Dane from a small puppy and have always had special dogs in my family), I'm prepared to provide excellent and tender care for your furry family member, big or small. I also have 6 years of professional experience administering basic veterinary care to multiple species. I have a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule (currently a graduate student), which enables me to be available for your pet during the week and weekend. I’m most often available for walks and home visits after 2pm on certain weekdays and during the evening, and am able to pet-sit in the evenings, weekends, and overnight as well. While I would be curious to know exactly what that is, I must admit that their cute expressions, deep & knowing eyes, and their Big Little personalities steal my heart every time. Growing up we had a pack of tiny to medium sized dogs and two cats. The tiniest thought he ran the roost, the two middle sized were complete opposites (one sad & mopey, the other a constantly energetic Houdini) and the largest played the Mother role to a tee and was my hiking buddy. Of the cats, one was a lover: always purring and giving kisses, and she LOVED ice cream. The other was his own man and was hardly ever seen except when food was served. Sadly, they have all passed on, and I miss their snuggles, playtimes and walks. Currently, we cannot have pets as our apartment does not allow them, but I am so thankful for the Pup Friends I have made through my clients. I own my own floral design and seasonal decor business, which I started in 2022 after 15 years in the industry. My schedule is currently very flexible. Each and every pet is different. “Brendan is honestly an animal whisperer. He has a gentle, calm, and patient approach with them that makes animals trust him so easily. For instance, my own dog is quite wary and sometimes even aggressive towards men in particular. However, upon meeting Brendan, my dog was able to open up to him because Brendan was able to read his body language. It was truly a sight to behold! He is well-versed in taking care of animals of all kinds. She noticed ants got in the food bowl so thoroughly washed it, refreshed the food, and immediately extinguished the ant problem while we were away.
