“Kelley was excellent with my pups and kitties! She communicated well on how they were doing and was very flexible when I asked to add additional visits at the last minute so we could leave for our trip early. Even my skittish mini Aussie immediately took to Kelley! I would definitely trust her with my pets again.”

“Eliza is amazing with our dogs! Always taking extra care to make sure they feel comfortable. She will let us know if she won’t be available for some reason so we can make other arrangements and she always comes on time! Our pups love Eliza!”

“Katie is an amazing pet sitter! From the start, she made us feel completely at ease with a meet-and-greet where we got to know her and could see how much she genuinely cares about pets. During her visits, she left detailed updates along with adorable photos, which made us feel reassured that our pets were in great hands. She was always quick to respond to any questions, which was such a comfort. Thank you, Katie, for your kindness and professionalism! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”
About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, growing up in a family that always had two dogs. As the eldest, I naturally took on a lot of the responsibility, feeding, walking, bathing, cleaning up, helping with training, and of course giving plenty of love and playtime. Beyond my own pets, I’ve also cared for neighbors’ dogs and cats, always making sure to follow their instructions carefully so each pet feels comfortable and cared for just the way their family would want.😊 Working from home gives me the flexibility to be fully present for your pets throughout the day. I naturally take breaks often, which I love to spend playing, walking, or giving them attention so they feel happy and cared for. Since I can bring my work with me, I’m also able to stay in your home as long as needed; making sure your pets have company, comfort, and consistent care without ever feeling alone. When I care for pets in their own home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their familiar space. I follow your routines closely so everything feels consistent for them. Since I work from home, I can spend plenty of time with your pets, giving them attention throughout the day. My goal is to treat them like family and make sure they’re happy, relaxed, and never feel alone.
“Cathy Jo was excellent. I was gone for quite a while and was concerned about leaving Max for such an extended time. But he did great thanks to Cathy Jo’s TLC. I would definitely ask her to help again.”

About: I have been around animals forever. My neighbors have also been trust me to be able to take care of their pets when they go on vacation. I also have 3 cats of my own that I love and adore. I just recently found a kitten and bottle fed her till she was ready to take on solid foods. I would love to be able to give your pets the care they deserve! I have three cats of my own so I wake up early before work to feed them. Then also on my breaks I go visit them because I live close enough to work. “From the initial Meet and Greet, Brandi showed compassion and an understanding for my boy with some special needs. She was clear and confident in what she would bring to each visit. During the visits, she checked in on time, each time and submitted detailed recaps and pictures to assure me everything was going well. This was the ideal turnout for my first time using Rover. Thank you, Brandi!”

About: I have been dog, cat, and house sitting for over 2 years now. I recently relocated to the Richmond area and joined Rover to continue sitting as my previous clients were through word of mouth. I have a background that includes caring for dogs of all sizes (dachshunds, corgis, aussies, doodles, terriers, dobermans, newfies). Growing up with dogs in my family, I have an innate understanding of their needs and affectionate nature. Contact me to discuss how I can cater to your pet’s specific needs! I work a full time job and do go into the office 3 days most weeks. This is why my availability is usually Friday to Monday. I will work with your pets needs to ensure they are well cared for and happy around both of our schedules. I’ve honed my skills in creating a safe and comfortable environment for pets by growing up with a dog always in the house and through my previous 2 years of pet & house sitting. Your pets welfare is my top priority, and to do this, I’ll need to know as much as possible about them before the job starts. This includes a meet and greet where we can both ask questions, and a mutual observation of interacting with your pet. I look forward to providing them with the love, care, and attention they deserve.
About: I am incredibly passionate about caring for animals and it brings me great joy and peace to be around them. I have been around pets since I was little and have worked with them all throughout my life, including walking, house sitting, and volunteer work at kennels. I am currently a Virginia Tech student on summer break, so this summer is the most flexible time for me to work! My services in Richmond will become unavailable by late August when I return to school. I have two adorable dogs in my home, a labradoodle and an australian shepherd. They get plenty of love and attention from me, including baths, brushing, and lots of walks! My australian shepherd is nearing the end of his life, so my family and I are doing our best to take care of him and give him the extra attention he needs.
About: I’ve had animals growing up ever since I was little. I’ve grown up with 4 dogs in the household and currently have my own. I absolutely adore all animals and would love to take care of your beloved animal I work and go to school daily but during the summer, I can definitely be more free. I always take breaks to walk the dogs around the neighborhood. I always be adequate to feed them and give them water throughout the day at their assigned eating times! If the dog is crate, trained to sleep in the crate at night, they’re welcome to sleep in the crate or if the owner wants, they can sleep in the bed with me. I do not mind.
About: I've been around animals since before I could walk, and have always had a way with them. My family and I lived in a trailer park when I was little. My mother always said from the moment I was born the animals flocked to me and there was no animal I couldn't get my hands on. My sister and I used to play with the stray cats outside of Grandpa's house. Pop would always mention how the cat we were holding would never let anyone close enough. Mom would often find "miss kitty in my crib with me. As I got older miss kitty passed away, but had left behind some kittens in her stead. Mom had decided to keep one and named him pudgy. He was a long hair black cat with the tiniest bit of white on his underbelly. I can remember running up and down the hallway and tap my shoulder as if trying to play tag with my sister and I. Pudgy and I had been the best of friends for about 18 years, till his passing. During the years he and I were together, he would often come running anytime he heard me sniffle or begin to cry. There were many other animals that we had over the years as well. Dogs, chickens, goats, rabbits, rodents, amphibians, horses they've been a vital part of my life. But no matter what I always come back to many best friend and the furry felines. If you're looking for a caring, detail oriented, and experienced fur sitter/walker, look no further. From feathered birds no bigger than your hand, to strong horses, I've handled just about anything. While I am new to this app, I am no stranger to animals. Wether they are young babies or older seniors, I would be more than happy to care for your pets. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile, and I hope to hear from you soon. I am currently working on getting my EVOC certification for Royal Medical. I will not have my updated schedule until after March 29. When I watch pets I do generally have my 5 yo with me. Availability -pending I have a dog pen out back and a cable that we use with our dogs fairly frequently when the weather is nice. I also have a play pen that the pups play in.

We absolutely adore Olivia! She is reliable, proactive, and an excellent communicator. She's always responsive and keeps us updated, giving us complete peace of mind while we're away. Olivia consistently goes above and beyond, and it's clear she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. We know our Kitty is in the very best hands with Olivia, and we couldn't ask for a better pet sitter. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy, attentive, and compassionate pet care!

Ariella took amazing care of my senior dog Chyna and my cat Suki while I was out of town. She was incredibly patient with Chyna and took her time to make sure she was comfortable and cared for every step of the way. You can truly tell Ariella has a genuine love for animals and treats them like her own. After having a not so good experience with another Rover sitter in the past, I was honestly nervous about leaving my fur babies again. But Ariella completely changed that for me. She kept me at ease, provided the ultimate care, and made sure both Chyna and Suki were happy and well cared for while I was away. I would absolutely trust Ariella again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and attentive to watch their precious fur babies.

Leslie took extraordinary care of my three (3) cats while I was out of town for two (2) days. Bandit and Patches (7 months old) had never been left alone overnight and Bella (16 years old) needed a little extra care because she tends to hide (and Bandit tries to eat her food). Leslie provided exceptional updates with lots of photos after each visit! It allowed me to focus on my work trip and not worry about my kitties!
