About: I am a professional baseball player and an absolute animal lover. I grew up with a very energetic pup, and now have 2 cats that I absolutely adore. I also have plenty of experience dog/cat sitting for neighbors/family/friends. Excited to meet and play with all kinds of new animals! Still waiting on my first review to get things kick started. I play professional baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates. I am string and capable of handling even the most energetic of pups. I am obligated to training/working out from 9 am until around noon each day. I have the rest of the day to myself, which means plenty of time for the animals! My cats are absolutely spoiled. Between toys, cats trees, the best food, pets, (and sometimes butt smacks for the little cat), there is no shortage of love for the cats in my household. I will cater to every pet owners needs, as well as the animals needs. I will bring love and effort into every household i step into.

About: I have had pets my whole life. I was raised with dogs, birds, and fish. When I moved out on my own I had bunnies and two rescue dogs. We had our rescue dogs until the end of their lives at 13 and 14 years old. My children are elementary - middle school age and are great with animals. We miss having a pet around the house, but with our travel schedule it's simply not responsible to have a pet full time. We would love to open our home to your pets while you are away. We have experience with puppies, rescues, and seniors. We have a steady home routine, and pet care fits naturally into it. Being home throughout the day allows us to offer regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and quiet supervision. We approach care thoughtfully and make sure each pet feels secure and part of our household rhythm. Our home is kept clean and organized, and we’re intentional about safety. We limit the number of pets we accept so each one receives attentive, individualized care. Whether a pet is social and active or more reserved, we adjust our approach to match their personality while maintaining consistent routines to help them feel secure. We live in a very walkable neighborhood, and have a backyard.

With my own dogs and experience of working at an animal shelter I’ve seen almost everything. I have experience with medication administration- injectable, sub q fluids, and oral. I also have experience with behaviors like reactivity, resource guarding, mouthiness, fearfulness, ect. I take a fear free, positive reinforcement approach. My goal is to make sure your pets needs are being met so they feel safe and you feel comfortable and at ease. I have experience with special needs cats as well! I quit my job and went back to school! I can care for your pets before 9:00 am and after 11 am Monday and Wednesday-Friday. I can care for your pet on Tuesdays from 1 pm onwards. I have experience with homes without backyards and am willing to do a walk around the block or whatever it might be for a quick potty break. I always go outside to my fenced in backyard with my dogs to make sure everyone is safe and will do so with yours. Your cats will be kept strictly indoors!

About: I’m a Registered Nurse who specializes in organ transplants, and a passionate animal lover! I have experience working in veterinary clinics for 3 years before I transitioned to a career as a nurse, of which I have been for 14 years. I had a sweet, large Akita for 13 years who had bilateral TPLOs, so I am very experienced with large breeds, post surgical situations, and medication administration, including injections. I have exceptional experience with mobilizing senior dogs, as Koda lived with severe osteoarthritis during his last few years. Whether the care for your pet is complex or simple, they are in excellent hands with me 💕 I work full time as a nurse, three 12 hr shifts a week, the days of the week vary each week. I typically have to work every other or every third weekend, but will have most of the week off in that case. Regarding my days off, I am available for the full day from dawn to dusk to care for you fur babies, or I am open to house sitting, or having your pet in our lovely Carytown bungalow! I have a medium sized fenced yard in Carytown with plenty of room for your pup to frolick safely. Camper, our sweet hound dog, is the kindest, most submissive pup and wouldn’t hurt a fly; her and I will both keep your pets happy and entertained! If we are house sitting or pet-sitting in your home, I will carefully follow every instruction to keep your animals routine the exact same!

I really enjoy spending my time with dogs, whether that be walking, playing, or just relaxing together. I currently am participating in a program with America's Vet Dogs, where future service dogs are trained by inmates at local prisons, and individuals/families sign up to take 1 dog every weekend for a year, to provide the experiences out in the world that these pups need to become amazing service dogs! This is my second year my mother and I have been a part of this program, and I have learned so much about dog training that I never knew before! I am currently in grad school, so I have free time during the day to walk or drop in on pets! I can be quite flexible with my availability and schedule because of the nature of my grad program.
