“This was our first time using Rover. Riley was helpful in explaining how it worked. She watched our cat for several visits for two days. For each visit she sent information on how the visit went. Unfortunately our kitty would run and hide after greeting her so she couldn’t get many pictures. She even went and found him and sat trying to convince him to come out! He ate well during her visits and she was kind to clean up the dirty cat bowls each time! It’s also very comforting knowing Riley has experience working in a vet clinic.”

In 2024, my beloved Timmy, a dachshund senior dog passed away at 15 years old, so I also have personal experience caring for older dogs who need a little extra love and specialized attention. I know firsthand how important and how difficult it is to find someone you can completely trust with your pets while you're away. I can assure you that your fur baby will be in safe hands with me. A Little Perk: I just got a nice camera and am looking to practice my photography! I am offering free digital pictures with any house-sitting or drop-in booking. I currently work a remote 9-to-5 job with plenty of flexibility, meaning I can easily adjust my schedule to fit your pet's specific routine and needs throughout the day. I do not offer services in my home since I live in an apartment with my 2 dogs. I have a reliable means of transportation, and I can make any special accomodations for your pets if necessary.
About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and I adore them. I have two dogs of my own, a 12 year old Border Collie mix and a two year old Australian Shepherd, and I volunteer down at the Richmond Animal Shelter every week so I'm used to handling a variety of dogs! I definitely understand the importance of frequent potty breaks, consistent meal times, and lots of love and playtime! Kelsi sent us a ton of adorable pictures and videos, and wrote us updates every evening, which was incredibly reassuring and made us feel so much better about being away from our precious little girl. It was so obvious that Bee was happy, spoiled (in the best ways), and very loved while we were gone, which completely melts our heart. Kelsi even left us the cutest little drawing of Bee with her final note for us to have when we got back. It was such a sweet, thoughtful touch. We are beyond happy to have found someone we can trust with our sweet little Baby Bee and will 1000% be requesting her every single time we need to sit, and I 1000% recommend her to you!
I highly recommend Jenna! She came by for daily checkins with our cats for a week, and took great care of them! She went above and beyond with getting our cat to take his medicine when he was being picky about it. Jenna is very communicative and we came home to happy cats.
