“Oh my goodness Kim is a phenomenal cat sitter!! We came back from a 6 day trip and our picky senior cats acted like we’d never been gone. She sent great pics of them each day so I could see all the love and attention they were getting. Kim was also kind enough to handle mail and packages, and even left us a lovely welcome home treat. We’ve had mixed experiences with others in the past and it’s comforting to find someone who treats your pets and home so thoughtfully. So glad we found her!”

About: I've been around animals since before I could walk, and have always had a way with them. My family and I lived in a trailer park when I was little. My mother always said from the moment I was born the animals flocked to me and there was no animal I couldn't get my hands on. My sister and I used to play with the stray cats outside of Grandpa's house. Pop would always mention how the cat we were holding would never let anyone close enough. Mom would often find "miss kitty in my crib with me. As I got older miss kitty passed away, but had left behind some kittens in her stead. Mom had decided to keep one and named him pudgy. He was a long hair black cat with the tiniest bit of white on his underbelly. I can remember running up and down the hallway and tap my shoulder as if trying to play tag with my sister and I. Pudgy and I had been the best of friends for about 18 years, till his passing. During the years he and I were together, he would often come running anytime he heard me sniffle or begin to cry. There were many other animals that we had over the years as well. Dogs, chickens, goats, rabbits, rodents, amphibians, horses they've been a vital part of my life. But no matter what I always come back to many best friend and the furry felines. If you're looking for a caring, detail oriented, and experienced fur sitter/walker, look no further. From feathered birds no bigger than your hand, to strong horses, I've handled just about anything. While I am new to this app, I am no stranger to animals. Wether they are young babies or older seniors, I would be more than happy to care for your pets. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile, and I hope to hear from you soon. I am currently working on getting my EVOC certification for Royal Medical. I will not have my updated schedule until after March 29. When I watch pets I do generally have my 5 yo with me. Availability -pending I have a dog pen out back and a cable that we use with our dogs fairly frequently when the weather is nice. I also have a play pen that the pups play in.

About: I've been around dogs since I was 5 years old. I have walked, played with, fed, cleaned up after them having accidents when they are older or as a puppy. I've cared not only for mine but also friends dogs while they are out of town. We has a puggle for 15 years, which passed away. Looking for a way to be with animals and get that interaction and loving in with your member of the family. That's how all of our animals were that I've had, they are family. Let me help make your time away from your precious family member be much more relaxed by knowing that he or she is being well taken care of. I send photos to my friends of their dogs when they are gone, so they know that they are doing fine and it makes them happy to see their dogs too. Look forward to meeting you! I currently work part time, so I had plenty of time to care for your pets. Just let me know how I can help make your time away from them easier. Our kids are grown and out of the house too, so have plenty of love to pour into your loved one. I am a nurse by profession, so know how to care for others and I'm no stranger to caring for older animals as we had a 14 year old cat and a 15 year old dog that we loved and cared for their whole lives and will continue to miss them for the rest of ours.

About: Just moved back to the RVA area after years away. I have one dog of my own and am trained in basic/ behavioral training plus previous experience at Richmond Animal Control and Care as well as Hanover Humane Society. I take online classes only and in the evenings so from the time a dog needs me to when they’re ready for bed I am there. I make sure they sniff on walks and know that they walks are for them, not me. I have many different leashes and harnesses as well as a lot of experience handling large and hyper active dogs. Nothing scares me.. except spiders.
