About: Hi! My husband and I have both had dogs since we were young kids. We currently have a senior dog (female) and a puppy (male 11months). Both are Australian shepherds. We also have two kids (6 and 8). We have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages and needs. :) We have a fenced in yard and our puppy would love someone to play with during the day. I am home with my kids pretty much all summer, so I’m available most of the day. Dogs will need to be good with other dogs and young children as well as spayed/neutered. We have a puppy, so I am in and out all day to take him outside and play with him. I am also home with my kids all summer, so we are at home a lot! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. They are both crate trained, although our senior dog is left out when we leave. I have an extra small crate (or you can bring one). We love dogs and would treat yours like our own.

I work a consistent weekday schedule, with a later start on Tuesdays, which gives me some extra daytime flexibility. I’m available for pet care before 9 AM, after 5 PM, and fully on weekends, and I can also use my lunch breaks for quick check-ins or walks. I care for pets based on their individual routines to keep them happy and stress-free. During drop-ins and house sitting, I follow your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime. I usually walk my own dogs 0.5–1 mile morning and evening, but I always adjust based on what your pet is used to and comfortable with! I always make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and care while keeping your home clean and respected. I can also send regular updates as well as pictures so you can feel at ease while you’re away!

I keep a comfortable routine with regular meals, potty breaks, and lots of love and attention throughout the day. I take time to make sure dogs feel safe and settle in at their own pace, and I always supervise interactions. Whether your dog is playful or more laid-back, I adjust to their needs so they feel relaxed and cared for.
“Adam was great with Poppy. He’s a gentle soul who clearly loves animals. However, when his kids were there overnight, we learned that Poppy isn’t comfortable with younger kids. Adam made it work for the brief period the kids were around Poppy, but it’s not realistic to need to separate young kids in the home and the visiting dog. Sadly we’re still looking for a sitter.”
