From feeding and bathing to long walks and playtime, I’ve always been hands-on in making sure they’re happy and well cared for. In addition to dogs, I’ve also raised birds, turtles, and fish, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of animals. I understand that every pet has its own personality and needs, and I always aim to make them feel safe, loved, and at home. I currently work from home so I’m able to provide physical comfort and stimulation via petting and playing with toys. We also have a dog park where I can take your pet for off leash running around and fetching. I have experience providing oral medicine for dogs. I'm well-versed in animal care; in addition to the basics (walks, feeding, play), I'm familiar with many common needs, like medication administration, training/behavioral reinforcement, and gland expression. I have a flexible schedule and typically respond to requests within a few hours. I'm able to spend a lot of my time at home; usually when I'm out of the apartment, it's for no more than about four hours or so at a time. My standard schedule is to provide three walks a day (morning, midday, evening) plus a quick potty break before bedtime, but I can adjust that up or down depending on your dog's needs. Dogs staying with me can expect lots of pets, cuddles, and playtime. I do allow pets on my furniture and bed, but if that's a behavior you're trying to limit, I can take that into account while your pet is staying here. At all times, and especially when outside, the safety of your pet is paramount to me.
