About: I’ve had animals growing up ever since I was little. I’ve grown up with 4 dogs in the household and currently have my own. I absolutely adore all animals and would love to take care of your beloved animal I work and go to school daily but during the summer, I can definitely be more free. I always take breaks to walk the dogs around the neighborhood. I always be adequate to feed them and give them water throughout the day at their assigned eating times! If the dog is crate, trained to sleep in the crate at night, they’re welcome to sleep in the crate or if the owner wants, they can sleep in the bed with me. I do not mind.
“Corrine was amazing! This was our first time away from the cats and having someone check in on them made us feel so much better. Corrine took care of litter boxes, feedings, and playtime. We could tell they were in good spirits and had been well taken care of upon our return!”

“Leaving my cat, Lola, is never easy. She’s a high-anxiety girl who doesn’t like being alone, so finding someone I could truly trust was incredibly important. Lee was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. He put my mind completely at ease, which allowed me to actually relax and enjoy my trip knowing she was being well cared for. He was incredibly trustworthy, respectful, and communicated consistently throughout our time away with updates that meant so much to us. It’s clear that Lee genuinely cares about the pets he looks after, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I can’t recommend him highly enough, and we’ll absolutely be booking with him again!”

“Bianca took great care of our cats, dropping in to visit every day. They were happy and both mentally and physically healthy when we got home from an almost 3-week trip. We'll be long-term customers, for sure!”

About: What makes me a good sitter you may ask? Well a good sitter is someone who understands that our furry friends are family of course! I take this approach because i’ve grown up around and pet sat pets for much of my life. If you need someone who will care for a pet as if it were their own then you have found your sitter! I currently work full time in IT from home and I’m seeking to fill my additional time with extra opportunities! As long as I have my laptop and wifi I am available! I love to interact with pets of all shapes and sizes. Im very used to dogs and cats so Im happy to play with them as needed to reduce energy as well as crate them for naps , also as necessary. Walks, play time, nap time, feeding are all within my normal care.
About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, growing up in a family that always had two dogs. As the eldest, I naturally took on a lot of the responsibility, feeding, walking, bathing, cleaning up, helping with training, and of course giving plenty of love and playtime. Beyond my own pets, I’ve also cared for neighbors’ dogs and cats, always making sure to follow their instructions carefully so each pet feels comfortable and cared for just the way their family would want.😊 Working from home gives me the flexibility to be fully present for your pets throughout the day. I naturally take breaks often, which I love to spend playing, walking, or giving them attention so they feel happy and cared for. Since I can bring my work with me, I’m also able to stay in your home as long as needed; making sure your pets have company, comfort, and consistent care without ever feeling alone. When I care for pets in their own home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their familiar space. I follow your routines closely so everything feels consistent for them. Since I work from home, I can spend plenty of time with your pets, giving them attention throughout the day. My goal is to treat them like family and make sure they’re happy, relaxed, and never feel alone.

“Carolyn did an excellent job taking care of my two cats, and followed instructions perfectly. She even left a light on for me when I returned home late tonight, which was a pleasant surprise!! Would definitely recommend!!”

“Brandi was able to come last minute when my travel plans changed and my dog loved her! She took great pictures and gave long updates. Leaving a senior dog alone for more than a day is always scary, but I felt confident with Brandi doing drop ins. If I have to travel without my dog again, I know she'll be happy!”
“Tori was awesome with our 11 month old pup over the holidays! They sent lots of photos of our girl having fun, which made our pet parent hearts feel better about being away. Our girl was happy and healthy when we got back from our trip, thanks to our sitters! Tori also had a phone call with us prior to sitting so they were updated on all the things our girl needed! Would recommend to anyone!”

“Lexi went above and beyond. She not only cared for our cat (who loved her!!) but she also saved our home when our water heater exploded and was leaking all over our house. Seriously saved the day!!! 15/10 would recommend and will be booking with her again!!!”

“Alexis was great. We had a quick weekend trip and she was available. She took care of everything we needed for our elder dog and young cat. She also provided pictures of each walk.”

“Kayla and Demitrius were awesome. They took great care of our four cats over the long holidays. In fact, they really went above and beyond by also feeding a stray cat we've been looking after - they didn't have to do thar but they truly are animal lovers. Our littlest cat is naturally very suspicious but even he had warmed up to them by the end of the holiday. We will definitely reach out to them first every time we need cat sitters.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wyndham. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
