About: I've owned dogs, cats & horses my entire life. I currently have 2 rescue dogs, 2 cats and a horse that are all treated like human children. I'm familiar with both young and elderly animals that require medical assistance. I work from home in Glen Allen. I have a flexible schedule and can check on your pet during the day and before/after work. I am comfortable with walking all dogs, crating dogs, working on commands and especially providing love and treats if desired! Happy to also prepare lick mats or other stimulation while you're away.

My hybrid work schedule allows me to work from home two days per week, and I can often adjust those days to be home even more with your pet. Depending on how far your home is from my office, I am also be able to come home for lunch for walks or playtime. If your pet is happiest in their own environment, I’m happy to provide care in your home. I can care for multiple dogs, cats, or a combination of pets, and I’m also open to caring for other animals. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! Growing up as an only child, our pets were my built-in best friends and caring for them was my responsibility from a young age. That love for animals has only grown with me. Over the years, friends and neighbors have trusted me to drop in, walk, and stay with their pets while they’re away, and I genuinely love getting to know each animal and their individual personality, routines, and quirks. These days, I’m a mom to a toddler and three very loved pets of my own, including my Golden Retriever, who is always happy to join me for a random walk during the day! I’d love to add a few more furry friends to my walking schedule and give them the same attention, patience, and affection I give my own. In our house, pets aren’t just pets, they’re family. I know how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else’s care, and I’ll always treat yours with the same love and importance I would want someone to give mine. Whether they need a good walk, some playtime, company, or just someone to make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away, I’d be so happy to be that person! I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout my day! I’m able to come and go as needed, so fitting walks, drop-ins, and visits into my daily routine is easy. I also have a great support system at home, which allows me to be flexible with scheduling and give your pets the time and attention they need. Because my work is remote, I can also bring it with me when needed! If your pet would benefit from a little extra company beyond a typical drop-in, I’m happy to settle in with my laptop and spend some additional time with them rather than rushing out the door. As a mom and pet owner myself, caring for both little humans and furry family members is already a big part of my everyday life. My child has been raised around animals and taught from the beginning to be gentle and respectful of their space. My schedule allows me plenty of freedom to make pet care a natural, and very welcome, part of my day! In our house, pet care is part of our everyday routine! I make sure fresh water is always available both upstairs and downstairs and changed daily, my cats’ food is checked and replenished each day, and my dog eats on a consistent twice-daily schedule. When I’m home, my dog gets a morning or afternoon walk, plenty of trips outside to our fenced backyard throughout the day, and usually a daycare day or two each week for some extra exercise and socialization. When I leave the house, I’m also very mindful of his safety, he stays comfortably downstairs with access to his bed and water, potential chewing hazards are put away, and toys that require supervision are never left out. I’d bring that same level of attention to caring for your pets! I know every animal and household has its own routine, so I’m happy to follow your feeding schedule, potty or litter box routine, walking preferences, playtime rules, and any other instructions that help your pet feel comfortable. Whether your pet thrives on a strict schedule or has their own wonderfully specific set of quirks, I want their routine to feel as normal as possible while you’re away.

About: I have lived on a farm my whole life. At age 12 I started managing our family farm, which ment taking care of all of our animals, from the horses to the rabbits. There are two rules I keep for myself: 1) every animal has a purpose and a name. They are not just a number (which is important to remember on a farm) 2) They are fed and cared for before anything else. It doesn't matter what's going on they are my first thought when I wake up. I take care of them before I eat. I am currently a college student and working part time for the school. My times and avalibility will change when I resume school in September. Because I live on a farm, I am blessed that my cats can safely be indoor - outdoor cats. I do have a house cat, and I have two outdoor cats. For dogs, I am used to taking dogs on walks, and letting them into secure, fensed in yards.

About: I worked at an animal hospital as a kennel assistant while in high school. I would walk pets, feed them, and play with them. I then moved on to become a veterinary assistant throughout my four years at college. I have lived with animals my whole life. I now currently work from home. I have a five-year-old female German Shepard, a two year old Pointer Lab, and a twelve year old cat. My GS, Tsuki, is a sweetheart who loves to always be by her mom's side and loves her walks. My pointer lab, Chance, is the most distinguished gentleman that just loves to play and constantly learning new commands. Chance and Tsuki have one sisters, Mila (12 years old). Mila loves her space. I feel like working with animals in a clinic and having my own has been a rewarding experience to learn more about animals and how each one has its own dislikes and likes. I have a very flexible employment, that sometimes I am able to work from home. I am happy to check on the fur baby as often as you would prefer and send you all the pictures! I have a fenced backyard for those dogs that love to be running around outside. If I am coming to your house, then I love taking walks and if you prefer, I would love to take them to the dog park. You let me know what you would allow/prefer for the care of your pet, and I will do just that!
