About: I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to seniors who need a gentler pace. I’m comfortable with basic training, medication routines, and keeping pups on a consistent schedule. I’m patient, reliable, and treat every dog like my own. I pay attention to each dog’s personality and make sure they feel safe, happy, and understood—plus I always share photo updates so you can relax while you’re away. I just recently graduated from university, so my weekdays and weekends are mostly free! I am available to take care of your pets from Monday-Saturday. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home where they feel safest and most relaxed! Whether I’m staying overnight or stopping by for a few hours, I stick to your dog’s routine, keep their space clean and secure, and make sure they get plenty of attention and supervision. I’m reliable, respectful of your home, and always focused on creating a calm, safe environment for your pet.

On weekends, I have more flexibility and availability, which allows me to be more present and attentive to pets who benefit from extra time, companionship, or a relaxed routine. I will come to you and your furry friends. I follow routines as closely as possible and create a calm, safe, and respectful environment. In my clients’ homes, I take time to understand each pet’s needs, personality, and boundaries. I carefully follow all instructions around feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and household rules. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, energy, or appetite and communicate clearly with pet owners so they feel informed and at ease. I adjust my care based on each pet, whether that means slower, sniff-friendly walks for senior dogs, gentle play for dogs who enjoy engagement, or quiet companionship for pets who prefer space. I keep homes clean, maintain litter boxes or feeding areas, and make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while their people are away.

About: I've owned dogs, cats & horses my entire life. I currently have 2 rescue dogs, 2 cats and a horse that are all treated like human children. I'm familiar with both young and elderly animals that require medical assistance. I work from home in Glen Allen. I have a flexible schedule and can check on your pet during the day and before/after work. I am comfortable with walking all dogs, crating dogs, working on commands and especially providing love and treats if desired! Happy to also prepare lick mats or other stimulation while you're away.

“This was a difficult sit for Lauren. Mal was approaching 18 years old and was not eating well. Several days into our trip, he took a turn for the worse. Lauren could not contact our veterinary because it was the weekend. We advised her to contact my daughter who was our contact on the Rover site. Lauren was able to pass our key to my son-in-law who sat with our cat as he passed away. Lauren was very professional.”
