About: I've owned dogs, cats & horses my entire life. I currently have 2 rescue dogs, 2 cats and a horse that are all treated like human children. I'm familiar with both young and elderly animals that require medical assistance. I work from home in Glen Allen. I have a flexible schedule and can check on your pet during the day and before/after work. I am comfortable with walking all dogs, crating dogs, working on commands and especially providing love and treats if desired! Happy to also prepare lick mats or other stimulation while you're away.

My classes are Mondays from 9:10 AM–4:30 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00–9:30 AM, 1:20–2:50 PM, and 4:00–5:00 PM, and Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:10 AM–12:20 PM. I’m best available for house sitting on weekends. During the weekdays, I’m available for cat clients and dogs who don’t need consistent potty breaks throughout the day. I can stay at your home once I’m finished with classes for the day. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I can also stop by for a 1–2 hour period after 9:30 AM. Because my work is remote, I can also bring it with me when needed! If your pet would benefit from a little extra company beyond a typical drop-in, I’m happy to settle in with my laptop and spend some additional time with them rather than rushing out the door. As a mom and pet owner myself, caring for both little humans and furry family members is already a big part of my everyday life. My child has been raised around animals and taught from the beginning to be gentle and respectful of their space. My schedule allows me plenty of freedom to make pet care a natural, and very welcome, part of my day! In our house, pet care is part of our everyday routine! I make sure fresh water is always available both upstairs and downstairs and changed daily, my cats’ food is checked and replenished each day, and my dog eats on a consistent twice-daily schedule. When I’m home, my dog gets a morning or afternoon walk, plenty of trips outside to our fenced backyard throughout the day, and usually a daycare day or two each week for some extra exercise and socialization. When I leave the house, I’m also very mindful of his safety, he stays comfortably downstairs with access to his bed and water, potential chewing hazards are put away, and toys that require supervision are never left out. I’d bring that same level of attention to caring for your pets! I know every animal and household has its own routine, so I’m happy to follow your feeding schedule, potty or litter box routine, walking preferences, playtime rules, and any other instructions that help your pet feel comfortable. About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs multiple times for an about 4 years. I’m very understanding and don’t ever get mad or stressed with animals even if they don’t listen and I always have a good time spending time with animals. About: I have lived on a farm my whole life. At age 12 I started managing our family farm, which ment taking care of all of our animals, from the horses to the rabbits. There are two rules I keep for myself: 1) every animal has a purpose and a name. They are not just a number (which is important to remember on a farm) 2) They are fed and cared for before anything else. It doesn't matter what's going on they are my first thought when I wake up. I take care of them before I eat. I am currently a college student and working part time for the school. My times and avalibility will change when I resume school in September. Because I live on a farm, I am blessed that my cats can safely be indoor - outdoor cats. I do have a house cat, and I have two outdoor cats. For dogs, I am used to taking dogs on walks, and letting them into secure, fensed in yards.
